I think that asteroid from Raishan is dnd's spell "Meteor Swarm"

Robert Bonfante

Yup. I love the Final Fantasy "Sephiroth summoning the comet" style interpretation of a spell that can do a total of 40d6 points of damage. It really hits home how powerful Raishan is when she has a spell like that up her sleeve.

A 9th level spell :3

#SubdayRundown Vox Machina I got one more dragon lore in me but I’ll save that for the last episode! In this episode I wanna talk about something they mention in the discussion (go watch the discussion). Why do so many fantasy things turn to steam punk? It’s a great question! Personally I feel like it would feel odd to have humans (the canonically fastest growing race of people in D&D lore and other) in a world where they grow up learning, “hey, Magic is REAL! Anything you can think of, there’s a way to do that.” And NOT have them mess around with it trying to streamline it for everyone. We as humans, in a couple hundred years since it was discovered, took black powder and made guns, cannons, fireworks, toppled governments, conquered lands previously thought untamable, blocked off the middle of the world, got tired of going around that, found the new world on accident, and began making Da Vinci machines and printing presses, had a western and eastern reformation of faith and a renaissance ALL within an elf’s lifetime. IF you aren’t human you’d look at the news everyday and go “how… when did they even find the time? We have guns now? Wait what happened to the pope I just talked to him! Wait there’s MORE EARTH?!?!” Humans are smart enough to fuck around and find out and then go “ok let’s do that different so we find out something else.” It does seem driven by madness and demons from an outside perspective.

Where's the Poll for the show that's replacing this? Cuz I still HIGHLY recommend Transformers Prime & Hazbin Hotel strongly they are THAT good!!!

#SundayRundown The resolution of Scanlan’s coma here is a hard departure from where the table took it. It’s a happier outcome that suits Scanlan and Kaylie’s more abbreviated journey on screen. I urge you to check out the table’s version which was much less rosy - its one of many iconic moments from this campaign, because it was GENUINE emotion that Sam elicited with his role playing choice. He literally changed the vibe of critical role with one question Editor - this is the tabletop Vox Machina episode “A Bard’s Lament”, scene begins after the break
