only those with high spiritual energy can see yokai, and anything to do with the curse powers, we see this when the giant crab is chasing them through town and no one sees, we also see this when the hayashi come, they have no spiritual prowess so they can’t see the ghosts that their music summons

To clear up the confusion.. no nobody that lacks spiritual energy can see Jiji or any transformation to that effect. Only people that posses it like Momo can see it. They mentioned this in Episode 4 of season 1 when they were running and Momo said something like “Oh so they can only me on you back” to Okarun referring to people on the street.

If students could see Evil Eye, they would've seen the switch from Jiji to Evil Eye instantly when Jiji grabbed the juice box. That would've definitely caused a reaction. 😁 Like other comments said, you've gotta be tuned into the spiritual to see the yokai transformations. The general concept has been mentioned before, but it was back in... episode three, I think? It's been so long that it's understandable that you would forget. DanDaDan doesn't often remind people of core concepts of the story once they've been established.

Evil Eye is literally just so baby. 🥺 Piggybacking off everyone else, it's pretty clear in the manga at this point as well that only those with high spiritual power can see these transformations. Everyone around them ask why is Enjoji acting like that, not why does he look like that.

Oh yeah this guy at the end he’s a real something of a character, something awful. You either love him or hate him, and personally I’d kick him in the ribs. Still the fight with evil eye was wicked awesome, and seeing him just chill in school is the best. Oh and it was confirmed in a previous episode that people don’t see the special forms and stuff if they don’t have that spirit vision.

Not even a fan of Mine Craft but I was losing it with Mr Ludris and how pissed he was the whole time XD. Something that may not be relevant I just thought about though was Turbo Granny equating Evil Eye to a child. We do know that's because it's base is the spirit of a child with gathered resentment from generations of sacrifices, but it likely has been around for centuries. That said we know Turbo Granny is formed largely by the resentment of female SA victims, but I'm wondering if she has a base spirit too and how long she's actually been around since her words might imply Evil Eye is actually a younger yokai vs just behaving childishly.
