WHAT IS THAT??? The Descent | Group Reaction

The Normies react to The Descent!! Marketa, Chris, Pat, Navi, Spidey and Rana give their reviews!! The film opens up with Sarah (Shauna Macdonald) getting picked up by her husband Paul (Oliver Milburn) and daughter Jessica (Molly Kayll) after whitewater rafting with her friends Juno (Natalie Mendoza) and Beth (Alex Reid). They end up in a car crash that kills Jessica and Paul. Sarah survives, waking up in a hospital and learning from Beth of their deaths. One year later, Sarah, Juno, and Beth reunite for a spelunking adventure in the Appalachian Mountains of North Carolina along with Sam (MyAnna Buring), Rebecca (Saskia Mulder), and Holly (Nora-Jane Noone). Making their way through the caves, Sarah finds herself stuck in a narrow tunnel, but manages to escape before it collapses. Juno later admits that she has led the group into an unexplored cave system instead of the mapped one they had filed, meaning that any rescue party will not be searching in the right place. The group discovers old climbing equipment and a cave painting that suggests a way out, as they look for an exit. Holly breaks her leg after running ahead of the group and falling in a hole. As the others help Holly, Sarah wanders off and sees a pale, humanoid creature drinking from a pool before it scampers away. Later, they come across a den of animal bones and are suddenly attacked by a creature they call a "crawler." It kills Holly. Sarah falls down a hole after running and gets knocked unconscious. Juno, protecting Holly's body, kills a crawler with her pickaxe, but then accidentally stabs Beth in the neck after being startled. Beth grabs Juno's pendant and Juno flees. Sarah sees Holly being mauled and eaten by crawlers. Juno saves Sam and Rebecca from a crawler, where Sam deduces the crawlers hunt by sound as they are blind. Sarah eventually comes across Beth, who is dying, revealing that Juno stabbed her and she was having an affair with Paul. Sarah reluctantly kills Beth with a rock after she begs for her suffering to end. Later Sarah runs across multiple crawlers, managing to kill them all, but falls into a blood-filled pool as a result. Juno, Sam and Rebecca are pursued by a large group of crawlers. Sam and Rebecca are attacked and killed, while Juno flees. Juno later reunites with Sarah and lies about Beth's death. Near an exit after defeating a group off crawlers, Sarah confronts Juno about Beth's fate and the affair with Paul. A horde of crawlers approach and Sarah stabs Juno in the leg with a pickaxe, escaping as she screams after her. Sarah falls into a hole and loses consciousness. When she wakes, she clambers up a slope covered in bones to escape the cave. She reaches her car and speeds away, eventually pulling over to break down in tears and hallucinates seeing a bloodied Juno beside her.
