I haven’t watched the movie, but I’ll watch this reaction. As I watch I debate whether I should’ve watched it for fun first. By the point of Sorry getting analyzed I think no. Also the tsunami of cuts 😂 Batman Forever’s next! Give me that Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones!!! You should look up this one deleted scene with a giant bat

#SundayRundown - The movie is not good but the chemistry between Halle Berry and Benjamin Bratt is fantastic. As far as the history, they are using the Batman Returns/Tim Burton Catwoman version for this movie. The Puuuuurfeeeect line is a wink to Eartha Kitt. Navi wins costume of the week. I have the Schumacher Cut of Batman Forever if you want to see that instead of the theatrical cut. Its much better and its really good. I'll send it to you guys if you want to see it.

Oh man talk about a Bad DC movie or just a Bad movie first off you can't have Catwoman in a stand alone movie I never had any interest in watching this so I skipped to the end discussion . Batman Forever is next that's peak Jim Carrey acting

First time seeing this movie and oh man. You can tell the Catwoman scenes and characterization they cribbed from Batman Returns but not understanding why those scenes worked. Same rhythm but different song. Burton’s version is its own thing too but he understood where the line was in relation to the rest of the movie. The campiness in Returns comes across as demented fun but here it’s just sad. I would love to see Navi’s reaction to Batman Returns just to see her exposure in reverse to Burton’s version.

It’s so funny watching movies like these that for one, are completely different from their source origin, but two, gave literally no connection to anything from the world the character comes from This was like towards the end of peak, “we don’t actually know about the character we’re doing a movie on” era because there’s no reason Catwoman should be getting “powers” lmao. It’s like giving Green Arrow powers after being hit with a magical arrow

Sharon Stone as the main villain was a great choice imo. She did a good job. I honestly think Halle Berry would have been a great Cat Woman. Unfortunately this was directed by the WRONG person. I always felt they did Halle so dirty because of that. Halle could pull of Selina Kyle character ,we know it. But the ppl who made it didn't take it seriously as they could have. I think either the Director or Writers were former fashion designers or something. Visually it had potential, decent cast. Poor choice in direction &; writing. Jmo. Glad y'all got a kick out of it though 😆

I hated the supernatural concept for Catwoman when they had Michelle Pfeiffer do it in Batman Returns and I hate it here too. Why they had the balls to think reusing the same horrible concept ("make a beautiful woman look mousy and be abused by her boss- she gets killed by said evil boss after discovering his evil plot and is reborn with cat powers") would work for a whole movie is beyond me. I guess the memo said "Halle has to do everything Michelle Pfeiffer did, but more cat. Throw in some Egyptian cat history to pad out the run time and for God's sake, do as many shots as you can with Halle's ass front and center. And when she gets her powers, you've heard of Elf on a Shelf? We're gonna do Kitty on Titties." Sheesh. And don't get me started on the 1000 cuts in the basketball scene. They did Halle Berry wrong- even she couldn't save this pile of crap. She did herself no favors with her crappy attempt at the Eartha Kitt purr though :-). I'm with Chris- I swear she freaking teleported in the jewelry store! The jump cut was so bad it looked like Scotty beamed her up to the second floor :-). This was awful, but fun awful. I loved you guys' reaction. This is the first time I've rewatched this turd, and the Normies made it worth my while.
