As soon as I saw that they cast Madeline Stowe as Ingrid I was sus about her character since she's a well known actress from the 90s (The Last of the Mohicans), but I was still a bit disappointed that my suspicions were correct. Was hoping they would subvert those expectations.

Madeline Stowe was billed only below Bruce Willis and above Brad Pitt in Twelve Monkeys. So, she was huge in the '90s.

Madeline Stowe being 67 years old is actually insane. She looks barely in her 40's. So I do understand the confusion of how she would look so old in the first It movie (27 years in the future.)

My level of irritation when none of you caught the Ricky Ricardo joke that The Pattycakes made towards Rich in the cafeteria really made me being 36 feel old😂🤣 Rana thought it was a Ricky Martin reference & Navi thought it was a racial slur.😂 I was counting on Suraj to bring it home, but it didn’t happen. Pat was having trouble keeping up with the 1935 flashback, so I knew I couldn’t count on him.🤣 Lucy’s husband on I Love Lucy is Ricky Ricardo, a Cuban musician who actually kinda resembles Rich. That’s all🫡🤙🏾

Far as I’m concerned, Will’s Dad should have hit him harder and sunk the body in the Canal if it came to that. I’m also curious, couldn’t they have restricted his butt from leaving base? There can’t be that many POC airmen, fewer kids of. The only reason I can think of the General letting him or other kids off base is to lure out It, but there’s plenty of kids in town. Lastly, does anyone else feel the “Black Spot” is a few times smaller than it is in the novel?
