The Great Pirate, Red Foot Zeff!", as well as "The Better Swordsman" AKA "Hawk-Eye Mihawk! The Great Swordsman Zoro Falls At Sea!!" ---------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 23 Summary Krieg's failed venture in the Grand Line is revealed. However, he is attacked by the notorious Grand Line warrior Hawk-Eyes. Meanwhile, Nami defects from the crew, taking the ship with her. & Episode 24 Summary Zoro battles the world-famous Dracule Mihawk and faces defeat. So last week, Suraj said he didn’t remember Don Krieg from the Live Action and that’s because they pretty much wrote him out of the story by just having Mihawk easily cut him down. The scene was actually in the clip Suraj showed. Don Krieg never even met Luffy in the Live Action nor even went to the Baratie.

I know Mihawk said he was satisfied from fighting Zoro but it’s pretty crazy how he let Don Krieg off the hook so easily even after Krieg opened fire 🔫 at him. Don Krieg could do the dumbest thing and tell the tale of how he made the World’s Strongest Swordsman “flee” from him.

#SundayRundown - We finally meet the man, the myth, the legend, Dracule “Hawk-Eye” Mihawk. First off RIP to the original voice actor for Mihawk, Takeshi Aono, a legendary actor who had been working since 1954 and iconicly voiced King Piccolo and Kami from the og Dragon Ball anime, as well as many other iconic roles. Second, with more pirates in the show, we gotta talk about their ship names. Don Krieg’s former ship that got SASHIMIED by Mihawk was called the Dreadnaught Sabre. Mihawk’s boat is called Hitsugibune, which translates to “Coffin Boat” in english.

#SundayRundown Yes there are four blues each tied to the directions of the compass. Mihawk doesn't use guns so he didn't shoot their ship he just swung his sword at it and demolished it.

I was just starting to forget about those stupid "Last War" ads. 😡😩 Since you guys still seemed to be confused at the end of this episode, here's a little reminder: The planet on which "One Piece" takes place is almost all ocean with islands dotted all over. The only continent is a ring of land wrapping all the way around, north to south. That's the Red Line. A ring of WATER, separate from the rest of the oceans, wraps all the way around east to west. That's the Grand Line. Because of these two rings, the planet is separated into 4 quadrants: North Blue, East Blue, South Blue, West Blue. The beginning of the show is known as the East Blue Saga, because that's where all these opening episodes take place. The East Blue; which you just found out is the weakest of the four oceans. 😳 For reasons that have yet to be explained (to y'all), you can't just cross over into the Grand Line from wherever you are. There's a specific way you have to go.

Mihawk is the equivalent of high level player going to the tutorial section of an RPG just to mess with scrubs. In all honesty, Mihawk could have defeated Zoro without any weapons, it would have just taken a little longer.

#SundayRundown to give someone like Suraj a understanding how far stronger Mihawk is then everyone weve seen so far, It would be like Beerus showing up in the Saiyan saga, like hes so far stronger than everyone here its not even funny. Zoro being the strongest swordsman in the east blue means little because the only reason he is is because when people become strong enough to go to the grandline they do, thats the only reaosn zoro hasnt run into super strong swordsman, hes likely not in the top 100 currently of swordsman in the world

21:06 The subtitles mistakenly call Mihawk “The World’s Strongest MAN,” instead of Strongedt Swordsman at which makes a big difference as you can imagine. Imagine how disrespected Zoro felt when Mihawk said, “Unfortunately I don’t carry a smaller blade than this.”

Some people like to imagine the reason why Krieg was spared by Mihawk even after trying to shoot him and was already told he was already satisfied after his fight with Zoro is to test Luffy. Luffy said he wants to be the Pirate King, so him being able to beat one of the strongest pirates in the East Blue will be a good test to start his journey.
