Pat, Navi, Chris., Marketa, and Spidey present their reaction and review to Pluribus Season 1 Episode 5 (Got Milk) Writer: Ariel Levine Director: Gordon Smith - Spoiler Alert - In Pluribus Season 1 Episode 5, titled “Got Milk,” author Carol Sturka (Rhea Seehorn) finds herself more isolated than ever after the hive mind known as the Others decides they need “a little space” from her emotional intensity and leave Albuquerque en masse. With Zosia (Karolina Wydra) recovering from her earlier cardiac arrest and the Others withdrawing, Carol is left alone in her city and struggling to make sense of the world around her. Carol records a video message for the other twelve survivors still immune, asking for their help and explaining what she’s learned so far. Then her curiosity pulls her into a new mystery: the mysterious “milk” that the Others seem to consume. When Carol investigates local trash cans overflowing with empty cartons, she tracks the supply to a dairy, only to discover that the fluid inside isn’t ordinary milk. Tests reveal it’s made from a strange powdered substance that might be a key to the hive mind’s survival. As Carol digs deeper, she uncovers a warehouse full of crates and sacks of crystalline powder and other stored items. The episode ends on a tense cliffhanger when Carol finds something under a tarp in a refrigerated storage area that shocks her, leaving the answers hanging and the mystery unsolved until the next episode.
