Hello! We have a little announcement for our fans of good drama! We've been obsessed with BSG and looking forward to watching more every week. Right now, we have a small window of opportunity to increase how many episodes we can watch and edit, and so, because of our love for BSG, we have decided to stop adding a new show replacing Pluribus, but rather to finish Battlestar Galactica quicker. Starting next week, you can expect regular double drops of BSG every Tuesday and Thursday! We know this is something we have not done in the past, but we do like the idea of possibly tackling a few less shows in a faster pace. We do not have any concrete plans to do this with other shows at the moment, but we would love to hear from you to see where your feelings land on this. Love it? Hate it? We are all ears (and eyes).   Fewer shows means more drops per week of those shows as well as us getting thru those shows quicker and replacing with new highly recommended shows from comments and polls. We see a lot of other benefits as well, such as being able to remember things better and offering a more binge-able experience our audience. Keeping up with the same amount of shows we are covering right now means we truly can only do 1 episode a week of each of these shows, with few small exceptions like One Piece. Note: In all transparency, we also wanted to include when we are anticipating that we might not be able to uphold the double-drop schedule for BSG, as we have a lot of premieres to tackle in the week of March 16 thru 22 (Invincible 3 episodes, Daredevil 2 episodes). One Piece Live Action series will also be back with S2 soon which drops all at once, but that should not affect BSG double drops, if all goes according to plan.

So say we all!!!!

Yessss! Double Drop BSG and other shows if you can in the future: shows like Babylon 5, Star Trek, Fringe and other HBO catalog series is best suited for this. Even comedies like B99.

Rishi Shukla

Nice nice. Hopefully you can squeeze in Wonder Man too, perhaps after AKotSK finishes.

SunnydaleClassof99

If this means you'll get to Doctor Who sooner than I'm all for it😆

Rosemary

I think this is a great idea and I hope you guys implement this for your one piece reaction 4 episodes a week will get you guys moving a lot quicker and you’ll be done before you know it

I’m surprised there wasn’t any mention of One Piece anime for double drops. Not because how long it is and that I want you guys to catch up quickly but because I noticed we’re getting 4 One Piece episodes a week on YouTube but getting 2 on Patreon. Won’t the YouTube ones get caught up quickly to the Patreon ones eventually?

Teevo

Im all for it. Better experience for your consumers and it’ll help you Normies remember what happened in previous episodes more cause you’re not being overloaded with different shows.

MarcusDiggler

Whatever gets us more current shows and anime like Wonderman, Monarch, To be hero X, Call of the night, etc

Grimbane42

I am definitely all for at least double drops for this and certain other shows. Especially anything that is under a half hour lol. Also, and I don't do this a lot but I gotta, please watch Dhurandhar lol. Part 2 comes out next month and it is sooo good. Ranveer Singh is amazing in the main role but I don't think I've seen a cast of support characters that is so amazing in a while.

Meh

Go for it

Gambit3838

4 seasons in and NOW YOU DOUBLE DROP!! YOU SADISTS!! LOL...We rabid fans have needed this for over a year. 🤪

Unstablebeast

Ngl, as someone who doesn't watch the battle star Galactica reactions (I voted for doctor who on that poll) getting through the show quicker is perfectly fine by me, also imo slightly fewer shows but at a slighter faster pace for some of them would be better

Macs

awesome

Ksweets

i’m totally for this idea, i’m onto watching a handful of shows with yall right now, so you guys speeding up the shows i’m not watching sounds good especially if this means there’s a chance this can happen to other shows i am watching

bob

This is a great idea 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Marvin

Awesome, it keeps the momentum of the show moving at a better pace.

Step B.

I don’t watch BSG but from a logistics standpoint this makes perfect sense to me

As much as I love you y'all, I don't necessarily vibe with every show you react to. First, less variety of shows you react to at a time would mean less reactions I would be watching, which is a bummer. I'm also in my mid-30s and don't really binge watch anything in my own life. Having once a week episode bring a little nostalgia of having to wait excitedly for the next episode drop. At the end of the day, I'm fully supportive of whatever direction you want to take that is beneficial for you all!

I think this is a great idea. Quality over quantity. I’ve honestly been wanting this for years.

More BSG !! So say we all !

Maurice Gray Jr

I like the concept. Please apply it to your new DC animated watch, particularly dropping multiple episodes in each drop instead of one at a time. BTAS, STAS and JL/JL Unlimited episodes are short enough to do that and not have to be there all day recording :-)

Phil

Choosing to prioritize uploads of a series that's probably your lowest performing in terms of views is a questionable decision at best

The Normies

that only happened twice on youtube. patreon and youtube both now are getting "only" 2 episodes per week. we would love to increase this number, but at the moment i do not see it possible.

Sickleweed

Personally I like more variety of shows because hopefully within the bunch I would have one show to look forward to your reactions to. I guess at least this means you'll get through shows I don't care about faster so you can eventually move on to something I care about sooner, so that's the silver lining.

Ashleep

Love this, love BSG, love the Normies! If people are complaining about it being your lowest-viewed reaction then they should be happy you guys will finish more quickly :)

So Say We All!!!

TexasSnyper

Sounds like a great idea for fully completed shows that aren't bound by weekly releases. So Say We All!

TexasSnyper

On the contrary, it completes the series sooner and frees up time slots for other shows.

greenb3ar

Much prefer a variety of shows to this. Now I just have less content I want to watch.

greenb3ar

It's literally taking one away?

Katra

This is great for me. You can get through certain shows faster this way.

If you're enjoying yourselves and this facilitates that, it seems like a great idea. When reactors have fun, their reactions are probably gonna feel more authentic. From a logistics perspective, I think it could be a good move because it lets you get to long-awaited reactions quicker than you would otherwise. Ofc, some folks will end up with less to watch for a minute (including me probably, tho I don't mind), but then ideally a lot of their favorite content will pop up in short order and they'll end up with an embarrassment of riches for a while. It's also a win for the folks that sub for one or two shows and then unsub, which I guess isn't ideal for you, but on the other hand if you keep those folks happy in the short term, over the long term they might be more likely to resub whenever you're watching something they like. Also I selfishly have a hope that this might mean you'll binge Oshi No Ko s3 once it's done and drop a batch of two or three reactions. But that's probably in vain. Unless...? 👉👈🥺🥹🤞

I personally like it better when you're excited to watch something instead of doing it like it's a chore. Do twice a week whenever you feel like it 🤟🏻😃❤️

Thee Chronicle

I think this works especially on shows like BSG. If you were to watch shoes like Fringe or 24 that have a lot of episodes its actually preferable and makes sense.

CurseMark4Life

I wouldn't complain about it with One Piece if you guys are enjoying it.
