The One With The Bear | The Sopranos - 5x1 Two Tonys | Group Reaction

Suraj, Navi, Chris and Pat present their review and reaction to season 5 episode 1 of The Sopranos, "Two Tonys," created by David Chase. In episode 1, Tony (James Gandolfini) attempts to seduce Dr. Melfi (Lorraine Bracco) now that he's no longer her patient, but she refuses. Meanwhile, a bear visits the house while Carmela (Edie Falco) is staying there, causing Tony to keep a closer eye on what she's doing after the separation. You guys talked over one of the funniest moments at 24:40😭 “ is this about the Easter baskets” “idek what that is” what could Chris have done with Easter baskets that he thought he’d be in trouble for 😂

#SRD Fun Fact: Feech La Manna is referenced in earlier seasons! Ralph Cifaretto brings him up when recounting to Jackie Jr (and his idiot friend) the story of how Tony and Jackie Sr. first made a name for themselves, by robbing Feech La Manna's card game. Which then 'inspired' the two morons to initiate their own botched robbery attempt that ended up getting them both whacked. Feech is considered a real 'OG', as he was 'made' on the 'other side', i.e. Italy. As with any season of The Sopranos: I love this season, lol. Steve Buscemi is great in this. :)

Adam Vialpando

He is also mentioned by Richie when he tells Tony if it wasn't for him vouching for them they would have gotten into much more trouble.

christopher

yes i watch One Piece and this

Jonathan

Brody Perry

#SundayRundown Janice got it in her head that Bobby would be the cure for her unhappiness. The snapshot we see of her domestic life doesn't exactly paint a picture of bliss. Her mother Livia was a black hole of despair. To Janice's somewhat credit she's at least trying to fill that hole in herself with love, art, religion or anything. She won't ever be happy because just like Tony she's unwilling to actually change or take any responsibility.

#SundayRundown Tony's confrontation with Melfi near the end feels just as intense as his scenes with Carmella. In some ways moreso. It's unthinkable that he would do something to the mother of his children. Is his ex-therapist that's spurning his advances & telling him politely that he's a terrible human being as safe? There's a tremendous amount of tension in how he'll react to rejection.

#SRD: By the way, guys, what are we gonna do about The Godfather? This was supposed to happen ages ago!!
