Fully expected this to be kind of part of the big Cody vs Roman doc thing that's been cooking, but I will gladly take a whole entire vid dedicated to it!

Hope to see them react to Cody Rhodes vs Dustin Rhodes eventually after watching this promo package first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vaxfqPUl6ss for a while it was considered one of the best if not the best AEW match when AEW first started

When are the women’s matches coming back again 🙏 that’s rlly what the fans wanna seeee

#SundayRundown The irony here is that the reason they allowed this was because of how severe the injury was. The argument was "Well, it can't get any MORE torn" and Cody was going to be out of action for months regardless, so they figured might as well let the match happen...also Cody was lying about how much pain he was in

Another great one from The Dropkick Gals! This was a real injury that Cody has pectoral surgery on. This match was June 5 2022 & he didn’t come back until January 28 2023. The reason he didn’t wanna just delay the match for 8 months later is because the storyline they already had built up obviously wouldn’t hit the same with that much of a delay in between. He knew he’d be gone for quite a while, so why not got out with a bang. Also they’re professionals & know how to make this match look extremely devastating without doing as much damage as it may seem. The beauty of the art of wrestling🎭🤼‍♂️🫯PS: We all miss the Czechs Mix! I still don’t understand the White Rose 🤷🏾‍♂️😒🌹

#SundayRundown Cody was heroic, brave, and stupid. I love the storytelling in the match and how real it felt, but Cody hurt himself by ego-lifting against a younger guy in flip-flops without properly warming up first to get into the situation. He ended up coming back more popular than ever, so fair play.

How haven’t they reacted to Roman vs cody

Mone' Sanders

I hope one day, along with the Roman vs cody matches, they get to watch Cody’s “Becoming Cody Rhodes” doc to understand Cody’s full journey back to WWE

Frank

Everyone needs you to do Roman vs Cody from Wrestlemania 40. Preferably by tomorrow please ;)

Rana would probably know Cody's big bro as GOLDUST. Also I want Spencer to show them the build-up and match between Seth Rollins and Matt Riddle. That ish was a masterclass in promo work.

I don’t care how many Cody haters there are online, I will never hate this man. Matches like this RY that even as an adult who has been a hard-core fan engaging with the Internet wrestling community since I was 16 years old in 2013, I feel like I do about Cody Rhodes in a way that I have not felt about a wrestler since I was a kid before I ever knew wrestling was scripted, it’s just another level man. I feel like no one ever does his story justice, no pun intended on the story thing.

Y'all should watch the triple threat with jevon trick and oba
