#SundayRundown Glad you guys had a blast. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns was the greatest match in YEARS. Punk is the best ring psychologist and talker in the game. No one comes within a thousand feet of him in those respects. Roman does look cooler, though. Best Jade match ever. Rhea is the GOAT.

You guys have the wrong idea about Roman, kinda, you're like halfway there. He WAS hated and booed, but that was like pre Covid times in the 2010s. That was Big Dog Roman. It sounds harsh, but Punk was probably correct with what he said back then (though he probably shouldn't have said it lol, but hey that's Punk). The Roman of NOW, The Tribal Chief/OTC Roman, is loved and cheered beyond belief and is one of the most popular guys in WWE, if not THE most popular - to the point where his fans can be a bit much for some and are referred to as a cult lol. Him winning didn't really stir the pot, actually I'd argue him losing would have stirred it more lol. Also the term you're looking for with Roman is probably "tweener". He's not really a BAD bad guy, but he's not really a GOOD good guy either - he's....in between. I'm sure when you guys do a certain doc that Suraj has reportedly been cooking up, you'll see it in more detail.

Punk is the cool rebel who stands up to bullies. Roman is popular because he is a handsome jock bully who looks like a hundred million bucks, like Adriano from the gang’s high school reunion in It’s Always Sunny. Some people like Drake more than Kendrick Lamar, and I’ll never understand it.
