It was probably mentioned on the original 28 Years Later reaction comments, but the Jimmys are based on Jimmy Saville. A disgraced British celeb who (among other things) had a show based on making kids’ “dreams” come true - after his death, Saville was outed as a prolific abuser across decades, but that outing wouldn’t have happened in this world.

If you liked Gonjiam I think you'll enjoy Hell House too. There's 5 movies altogether in the franchise. First one is the best...2-4 has good moments but also has some distractingly bad acting. You can skip the last one completely; it's horrible.

Yea I thought that was easily the best scene in the movie. Nia Dacosta is an underrated director and always gets the short end of the stick. She’s my pick for directing an X-men movie but I doubt she’ll go back to marvel. I also loved all the Doctor and Sampson scenes

I don't get this reaction seamlessly thinking is too predictable and not understanding basic things. Jimmys and Samson are two type of monsters all having "psychosis", this is the movie show you parallel metaphor of human mind making monsters. That's why the movie has the parallel storyline of Jimmys and Samson, it's not just for the gore, sometime a movie have things they want to say, you know? Also, they sent every scene in the whole movie show you Kellie is an outsider, sir jimmy sent her on a lone mission, she spent time outside the barn, question sir jimmy, she didn't just suddenly change her believe, she just doesn't trust what sir jimmy is saying to begin with. Her and spike are the only two that kept a distance from the "psychosis" virus of "Jimmy", that's why they are the one left.
