no adventure time today?

Wow, did not think this show would be one that you guys would do, especially so soon, but boy am I glad you are!

Jackie Gibson

Aw yay I'm so glad you guys are watching this! I've been so excited for the anime to come for a long time. 🤩 Also I'm sure Marketa has a busy schedule already but you should recommend this to her on her own time, I feel like she would really enjoy this one.

supakame

Holy carp, was not expecting you guys to dive deeper into the anime fantasy genre! This show is a great breath of fresh air in how detailed they get into the lore and art of magic and I'm loving it so far. Planting the seed here: Since you've already started series 2 of the Big 3 of Fantasy Anime (Frieren, Witch Hat Atelier, Delicious in Dungeon), I would also recommend you guys look at Delicious in Dungeon. Done by Studio Trigger (known for Kill la Kill, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, Little Witch Academia), that series is also top tier and whereas WHA focuses on art, Frieren focuses on memories, DnD focuses on food!

The Normies

Our recording schedule got moved around, so unfortunately we had to push back the date. The schedule should be updated now!

#SundayRundown Fun fact about the dub of this show! As you have noticed, all the Witches in the show speak with accents. I heard the reason for that choice was to make CoCo and other non witches feel more like outsiders

Phil

I really miss when yall didn't jump on every new anime just because it's "Hot" right now. There's so many better how's yall could be watching....

Denickart

half the anime they're watching right now didn't even start this century

Elizabeth C

Oh wow! Didn't expect this! If you guys like this show then you should check out Delicious in Dungeon as well. It'll complete the fantasy trifecta.

Katra

Nice, a Seinen anime. More of these please!

Katra

I'm just waiting for the day they react to the anime that Chris wears on his shirt every other video. Berserk lol.

For the end of Ep3: The studio commissioned to get the outfit made so they could play around with it IRL and properly animate Coco putting on her (rather complicated) Witch outfit. Also, apparently Brush Buddies are a very common animal in their world. It would be the equivalent of befriending a random squirrel or something. But our Brush Buddy is very precious and I'll defend him with my life. Ep 6: "OMG Qifrey has white hair!!!" -Suraj I'm not suggesting you should read more into it or anything but Qifrey hates water and Olruggio has drying magic...

AnnaChicky

Qifrey's EN VA in fact voices another popular blue-eyed white-haired guy; Phainon from Honkai: Star Rail! (not an anime but a gacha game) Qifrey literally sounds like a British Phainon that's somehow even more soft-spoken; it's great.

Meh

Freiren meets Promised Never Land XD Watching kind of begrudgingly and can't decide if I like it or not. Really into the concept of the world so far but the characters are grating my nerves a bit (primarly Qifrey and Aggot) Aside from Coco being so simple and naieve to not even consider Aggot tried to murder her and I at least get the angle for Aggot, but it really annoyed me that Qifrey (as the teacher) didn't put any of that together and punish her AT ALL. He didn't tell Coco about the test so none of that could have happened without deliberate action from one of those students he just chose to leave alone. Even knowing that Coco would rush headlong into it wouldn't matter if she doesn't know where it is or how to get there. All of that kinda makes sense though if Qifley turns out to be like an ousted member of those "brimmed hat" guys so I'm leaning that way. Probably won't get to your reactions anytime soon so I don't know if you said any of this yet.

really enjoying the show and yall dissuasions
