Marketa, Chris, Suraj, Spidey and Rana present their review and reaction to One Piece: East Blue Episode 82, "Dalton's Resolve! Wapol's Forces Land" , as well as Episode 83 "Avalanche!" AKA "Island that Lives in Snow! Ascend The Drum Rockies!" ---------------------------------------------------------------- Episode 82 Summary Dalton faces Wapol, but only gets himself hit by arrows thrown by his former comrade, Chess. An avalanche stops the battle, but injures Sanji. #SundayRundown #OnePiece I forgot that they flashed back to Luffy's big bunny rescue in the same episode that it happened in! 😩 Man, padding during this era was a mother****er. That said, Luffy's climb was perfectly paced. It really makes you feel Luffy's suffering; which is very-much necessary for this character moment. If there was any doubt that he's ride-or-die, the journey to get to Dr. Kureha erased that. 🥶 32:32 - Just reminding y'all of this moment. 🤣 This is exactly everyone's reaction when watching for the first time.

Rana is correct when she said there are other Ox Ox Fruits. Dalton’s fruit is called the Ox Ox Fruit MODEL:Bison. For Zoan fruits(fruits that tranform you into animals) most of them include a model of the exact creature they turn into. For example if there is a tiger fruit it would be called Cat Cat Fruit Model: Tiger. So Dalton’s fruit implies there could be other ox fruits

Yes, Zoans come as part of a series wherein they share the beginning part of name but are differentiated by their Model species. So their could be an Ox-Ox Fruit: Model Cow in the world and it would share the Series name with Dalton’s Fruit: The Ox-Ox Fruit: Model Bison.

Oooh the One Piece pacing... yeah that is the absolute worse problem the OP anime has and it gets worse.

Luffy carrying his crew up Drum Mountain is probably one of my Top 5 moments in the series. It happens shortly after Vivi tells him he isn’t fit to be a pirate, and I like to think her words were lingering in the back of his mind, which made him even more determined to make sure his crew was safe.

#SundayRundown not sure if this is too late for Sunday but in case not: I think Chris compares Luffy's powers to Mr Fantastic and I think it's a really interesting difference to note that Reed Richards is just elastic (can stretch out and contract again) while Luffy is rubber so if you stretch him out, the tension means he can snap back with force (also why parachutes made of rubber would not work super well while it would work well with Reed Richards' powers).
