Great to see you guys caught up on Witch Hat! I've been watching this weekly with my daughter and she loves it. I think Tartah and his grandpa are doing Irish accents (they have a more wispy accent), and I am constantly amazed at how creative they are with using their magic. Magical humidifier/swamp cooler, dehydrate medicines to determine crystal/powder composition, optical camouflage tattoos (I assume, Metal Gear Solid popped in my mind). I don't want this series to end! Also I totally ship Tartah x Coco (not telling that to my daughter though, don't wanna give her ideas) As for suggestions for future anime: * Apothecary Diaries - it's like House MD in an ancient China * Gatchaikuta - shounen trash (literally trash!!) * Delicious in Dungeon - bonus suggestion if you want to complete the Big 3 of Fantasy Anime (Frieren, WHA, DnD). Frieren focuses on memories, WHA on art, DnD on... cooking!

#Sunday Rundown - I enjoyed this episode but I’m excited for the future because the Invisible Brimmed Cap witch at the end’s Japanese VA(I’m watching in Sub) is Ryusei Nakao(Voices Frieza, Cooler & Mayuri). I was just chilling watching the ep and then I’m like “FRIEZA?!”. If you want to look him up, there’s plenty of youtube shorts of him reciting iconic lines from his characters. Mans is 75, has been acting since he was 3 and voice acting since 1965 when he was 14. I know this doesn’t matter to y’all but my Goat deserves his flowers.

PLEASE add “Hell’s Paradise” to the upcoming what-to-watch-next Reaction choices!! 🙏🏻 It’s Two Seasons of straight Peak!

With 3 episodes left I think it will be able to cover the first major arc. I hope the wait for next season isn't as long but by how incredible the art is in the manga, it will probably be another 3 - 5 years 😭 also I second the DnD suggestion.

Do yall still got the Uncut for LOTR The Fellowship of the Ring still available? I tried looking it up on patreon but the video said it was taken down. Thanks , Love yall

Do you think it would be 3-5years because of production time or not enough source material to adapt? At least for DnD the source is complete and a season 2 is coming relatively soon

Meh

Just caught up. 2 kinda big things to talk about that are really rolled into one. Keep in mind that they established that "forbidden" magic primarily is ANY magic applied directly to the body so by that ruling what you typically would consider a Healer/White Mage would be forbidden outright. Which brings us to Silver Wash (colorblindness). In terms of trouble shooting that condition has 3 critical components: -how effectively your eyes detect light frequency -how stable the connection between your eyes and brain is to carry the signal -how effectively your brain then translates that signal While glasses, contacts or any kind of external item can effect the light itself, it CAN'T change the way his eyes percieve it and that is likely why this world hasn't treated it. That said I know IRL we can make glasse to filter out certain shades/frequencies I don't think it can be effective if you are at like complete monochrome vision vs just can't see certain colors so we can't outright fix it even surgically. It will be interesting to see if this show will adress it. Beyond that it's kinda fun to imagne what that kind of spell would actually look like. Given scale and function I'm thinking it would take a relatively small circle on top of the head with a water sigil and god knows how many intricate micro marks to direct the fluids properly. Plus it's on the body so it would have to be tattooed vs simply drawn on so you can't wash/sweat it off. Also this will absolutely NOT be the last time Rana brings up Harry Potter XD
