The subtitles mess up one of my favorite lines. Kurama says "rogues like you deserve to be damned" not "dead"

#SundayRundown So the tape Sensui is watching is not chapter black. Its far too short to go from Vietnam war to modern day in 30 minutes. It was revealed in a interview or series guide book I forget which that the video is the 1947 classic Japanese release Senso to Heiwa (War and Peace) about a Japanese man returning from China after WW2. In the manga at least. In the anime they make it Good Morning Vietnam instead hence the senseless war line and the song at the end.

Yuyu Hakusho hands down has the best 4 man squad of all time I love all of our main guys but Yusuke and Hiei are my #1 and 2 which is crazy because Kurama is probably the scariest one Kuwabara is imo probably Sabats best role and those guys are still my 3 and 4 that's how amazing this squad is

So the enemy with weird powers and body modification transformations, who considers himself perfect and invincible, is trapped in a loop of illusions for all eternity by the handsome anti-hero who hates violence? And nobody noticed the obvious connection to the fight between Kabuto and Itachi??? Seriously? I LOVE this episode. I love this anime. All the characters get to shine and really do something and we can see why it inspired so many others

1. Elder Toguro is Chucky. 2. This show is awesome

Sebastian Cevallos

It is such a cool parallel to hxh, one of the great calamities from the dark continent is so similar to the sinning tree, it is horifying

Michael Acuna

Another great Kurama fight, but with plants instead of video games. Also, the way Sensui in the Dub talks about the war movie is so HAUNTING. In the Sub, he says, "This story is so clichéd. The theme seems to be slaughter in the name of love for humanity."

Duffy the Nar Slayer

Sometimes you just got to let the people like Toguro dig their own graves. As big Toguro said to Sakyo, back in the dark tournament saga.... "Yes, my brother is something of a fool. It's a bad habit of his"

Meh

Kurama walked so Mayuri/Itachi could commit atrocities XD

Martin Powers

They don’t know what that is. They don’t read the manga.

Javi

The rose whip kurama used was so much more badass in the manga I wish I could show it here but he literally cuts his head in less than a second we don't even see we just see the aftermath of the cut, love Kurama so much he's a legendary character

Sebastian Cevallos

I wish they did, just like with one piece, after all the new arc is the best hands down, and since the manga is comming back...

I think the HxH manga is a bit too complex with recent dark continent stuff. Too much dialogue to read and isn’t that enjoyable for an audience imo. It’s good but very cramped info.

My dawg Kurama 😭🔥

InigoNova

I don't think they even realized that Doctor's abilities are also very akin Kabuto's arsenal in his fight against Tsunade and Naruto with the stuff he did there, not that I at all fault Kishimoto for that since if you're going to have a medic combatant that should be the way to go about it in taking inspiration from.

Sebastian Cevallos

I believe that with proper animation that will change, and in the volumes it fixes most of the cramped text

Javi From 🇪🇦

Dude, no one is more ruthless than Kurama when 💩 needs to get done😵

Andrew Stuart

Definitely one of the most savage moments in any show i've watched. Kurama is scary scary. Hiei alludes to this at the beginning of the show. Something along the lines of aligning himself with Kurama to ensure that he doesn't ever have to fight Kurama himself.
