christopher

I thought the FBI had something on her and if she does not help she is going to jail?

Paradoxhamartia

The FBI technically being the "good guys" faction is exactly why I hate them with a passion. We see the mafia perform the most inhuman acts and we are supposed to be disgusted by them, but at the same time the negative behaviour of these mobsters comes with the territory. They're the bad guys, so of course they do evil things. It feels like the "correct" order of things. The FBI, on the other hand, should represent a set of positive values. But that's not how these people end up actually operating. Adriana was no saint, but she was still human. She did not deserve to be treated like a disposable pawn on these people's board. And the show makes it a point to display how these law enforcers have no issue with going from one informant to the next, without a single care for their lives (and eventually deaths). Fuck them. The only reason why these bitches aren't on my #1 Soprano hate spot is because of Paulie's existence.

#sundayrundown watch the godfather

Guys... what is this reaction to Adrianna confessing? Do you all genuinely not understand what a RICO case is? Of course Christopher would be implicated and in trouble from the FBI... he's part of the mob, he's murdered dozens of people. Police and federal agents are legally allowed to lie to you, why would they ever help Chris out even if she ratted everyone else out completely, doesn't happen, wouldn't happen.

Adam Lieber

When Jonny was threatening Tony's 'family', he didn't mean Carmella and the kids. He meant the NJ crew, his work 'family'.

TJ

Matush was the guy who went to Jackie Jr to see if he could keep selling X at the Crazy Horse and he was also the getaway driver who took off on Jackie and his friends once he heard gunshots

Stan the Man

YouTube got 2 episodes last week. You guys don’t feel like maybe giving us supporters an extra episode? Maybe? I’ll make you an offer you can’t refuse.

Stan the Man

Also just a heads up, in the SopranosVerse, in mob speak, “Family” doesn’t literally mean going after Carmella, AJ, Meadow etc. when they say they’ll go after “family” they mean Sil, Paulie, Chris. The Soprano Crime Family. The rule is families don’t get touched. Now…as we all know. Rules are made to be broken. But that’s the rule. If your brother or son happens to be in your crime family? Then it doesn’t matter. But it’s “crime” family. Not real family.

#SundayRundown This is where it was always heading. The moment Agent Ciccerone approached Adriana in the store 3X13 she doomed her. It's been like watching an excruciating slow motion car crash these last almost 4 years. Adriana has been mentally & physically falling apart. It's possible things could've turned around in 4X2 if she didn't get in the car & get brought into headquarters. Adrianna understandably panicked instead of refusing or asking for a lawyer. She also believes Christopher loves her above all else & it's just not the case. There's been times Christopher could've gotten out & he's demonstrated to her that he won't. She's not stupid just very naive. It ends up costing her life. Her death is the most heartbreaking moment of the series. She's the most "innocent" major character we've seen killed. It didn't have to be this way & it's made that much more excruciating by the last second fake out showing how things could have gone the other way.

Boxing Love

Lol I was going to comment the same thing. Even the family that was involved in the killing were only the ones in the mob. So they still wouldn’t come after their actually family for that.

Hank Scorpio

Seriously....they need to watch it before more gets spoiled for them. The show literally spoils it non stop.

Hank Scorpio

You guys need to seriously watch The Godfather before you get too deep into next season. The show spoils it non stop.

Hank Scorpio

They over exaggerated though. They made it seem like see was facing 20 years when in reality she probably wouldn't have done anytime at all. Adrianna was just naive about it all.

Moe Davinci

Great way to end the season. I agree with Chris, if I'm Adriana, I'm sitting down (AKA taking the drug procession charge or whatever and not snitching). It was a frivolous amount anyway, and by all accounts she's never been in trouble, they would've gave her some light ish. They couldn't implicate her in much else when they first get her in season 3 or 4 (I forgot it's been so long lol).

Javi

LMFAOO wow Suraj why’d you out Navi out like that for the tesla

Veya

it wasn't a frivolous amount, they threatened her with 25 years the first time they brought her in. this was the line from the episode (season 3 episode 2): "If you say no, you'll be placed under arrest... and charged with possession and intent to distribute cocaine". A charge that carries with it a penalty of up to 25 years in prison." do people honestly think she went along with the fbi thinking it was only a couple of years? regardless of how much she would actually do, or if the fbi would really try for a 25 years sentence, she's naive enough to believe it was serious because she's so insulated from that world. she was always used as a foil to carmela and meadow.

Moe Davinci

Law enforcement use “up to x amount of years” as a scare tactic. Most defendant never receive the max penalty. When you throw 20-25-30 years in someone’s face they are more likely to comply to your request than the realistic answer.

Veya

carmela knows what happened to ritchie. she also referred to angie as a widow in season 3, so she knows what happened to pussy as well. carmela has always had the arc of dealing with complicity. adriana's arc has distinctly lacked that, and she's given a more immediate external threat. the episode ended with tony and carmela together as a sharp contrast to what happened to christopher and adriana. besides applying to the adriana and chris situation, 'long term parking' can also refer to tony and carmela's marriage as well. if she wasn't going to stay separated despite all that they went through, she's likely never going to leave him.

Adam Lieber

Totally. They may be vicious psychopaths, but they don't really go after the wives and kids. They have standards hehe

Adam Lieber

They haven't watched The Godfather! They won't get your threat. I mean joke haha

Adam Lieber

Yeah I keep regretting the references they are missing.

Veya

yes, i said as much in my comment.

Adam Vialpando

Plus let's be honest, people talk all they want about doing their time but would have a breakdown in prison. The US prison system is messed up and is pretty much guaranteed to ruin any hope of a normal life.

Hank Scorpio

A lot of people forget that the police are legally allowed to lie to you and its illegal to get caught lying to them. ALWAYS asked for a lawyer and don't say shit......

Hank Scorpio

It was nice to get the intro this episode 👌 Maybe that can continue....? 🤞

Hank Scorpio

Suraj ratted her out quick 🤣

Javi

He was waiting for that moment for sure lmao

Stan the Man

I made them an offer they couldn’t understand.

ajani

i think tony planned the bag that tony b found to get him back to the game and he feels guilty because he knows he has to kill him

Kwame James

Since I'm not sure yall realized Johnny Sack was referring to his mob family he only threatened Chris because he is in the mob

LucasHolliday

I can't believe this shit. I told you two months ago that Frankie Valli was Rusty, the little guy that advised Little Carmine. I saw Suraj look at my comment and almost read it out loud on SRD. And finally you sort it out months later? Ridiculous.

LucasHolliday

It's literally too late. The references have all been made, and they didn't catch one of them except for Chris. Suraj knows some of the Goodfellas connections, but that's about it. Smdh
