Lol this movie was ludicrously dumb, and yet I had a really good time with it. When it comes to films as an art form, I'd score it pretty low, yet I totally enjoyed my time with it. It was dumb in the ways it needed to be dumb, if that makes sense.

#SundayRundown I loved this movie, but I can admit it's a bit dumb. In a way it felt like an over correction with Cole. Everyone generally loved the first Mortal Kombat movie, but they admitted that Cole's creation felt like the weakest part. People were genuinely looking for Johnny Cage in the first movie as he's meant to be this 'fish out of water' actor brought into the mystic side of things. So now we have a sequel where everyone else in now on their 'second movie' while Johnny is now being brought in. It's just a retread of Cole's arc and it just feels a bit off. I hope we get a 3rd movie where we can build something new now that everyone's on the same page. Here's hoping!
