#SundayRundown Thanks for covering this series and getting through it so quickly! The reactions have been great. I have a couple of theories for the upcoming seasons: 1. I definitely agree with what ya'll touched upon in the end discussion, the island seems to be promoting Warren's bloodline to find romantic partners and multiply. It was comical how many people were hitting on Ruth in her past, and currently we can see that Evan is also getting interest from that out-of-town girl. The real question is how will Tom react if he figures this out, and realizes that the island may have manipulated him into falling for his wife Lauren. 2. I have a strong feeling that Sarah Warren will show up in the present day Widow's Bay. Betty Giplin is just too good an actress to have for a short role. I also think the modified wedding vows she took were strange. It was like she was being sworn into the covenant with the island, and also that she was to be the "handmaiden to the Lord Protector". Maybe that means she has to to help whoever the Mayor is.

throwing in this comment cause i see suraj is gonna do a live sunday rundown later today, but can i just say how much i appreciate being able to watch a mystery box tv show unfold WITH suraj, i mean there’s an island that is an entity, and people can’t leave, ancient curses, a battle between light and dark. i JUST watched lost for the first time last year. im glad i get to be apart of this cultural moment with suraj after he inspired me so much to watch lost and now it’s one of my favorite shows. also everyone is wrong about the ending of lost, it rules most people just don’t understand it

Ngl this show feels like what “From” was trying to be. Can’t even recommend that show cause after 4 seasons of getting nowhere, it starts to feel like a waste of time.

I dont get the From season 4 hate, especially since it had more info given to us then the other seasons. What’s the point of a mystery show if they give you all the answers immediately? Also this and From are doing way different things, i wouldn’t compare them beyond them just both being a horror mystery show

That makes zero sense whatsoever and you clearly did not watch season 4. I highly doubt that you watched any of it. I don't think they should watch From either. They don't pay attention to anything and yell like crazy people over nothing. They should stick to Star Wars, Comic Book stuff, Disney and anime. Shows for kids.

shawn you can like From, but pretending that show has gone anywhere or even has half decent writing is crazy. Season 4 was legitimately the worst season yet. I only watch at this point because of how funny it is to see Harold Perrineau yelling at everyone. I mean we are 4 seasons in and were still at a point where everyone reacts the exact same as they did in season 1 when people see crazy shit. The writers have no idea what they are doing
