Suraj… kudos my guy, you did a great job and it was FUN and Nostalgic in the best way. These deep dives need to be sprinkled in going forward for sure. Stone Cold obviously… The Rock… It’s just unfortunate as Marketa was right, they definitely spend less on pyrotechnics while the TKO/WWE board take in millions in bonuses for themselves. It’s every company ever, from big tech to Disney to banks, etc… At least we have the 90s to look back on peak times! Que será, será

It’s not that they aren’t counting the loss to Shawn Michaels, it’s that that loss didn’t happen at wrestlemania, and what the streak is is that undertaker is hard to beat on any night, but at wrestlemania he is literally impossible to beat, so if you see him lose a match in the compilation you can be sure it wasn’t at wrestlemania. The idea of this is to show y’all how much he can withstand and still not lose at wrestlemania until inevitably he either retires undefeated, or somebody can finally overcome the unbeatable undertaker. The stuff in between is just so y’all understand the story in context. Hope this helps but I can’t say much more because I’m not going to risk spoiling anything.

This is going to be really fun. Not just because the Undertaker had so many great stories and matches, but because he wrestled for so long that this serves as a tour of the way modern wrestling has evolved over time.

Suraj deserves major props for this. This was great. I appreciate you including some of the other big matches during each respective years. I’m curious how you’ll be able to do it for certain years like 98 because those are very big years for him. The girls were right the Undertaker/Kane story is really some anime shit lol. Peak Attitude Era with the soap opera and Jerry Springer vibes. Just for clarity, he’s undefeated at Wrestlemania. Between all the matches you guys saw, he’s lost but even then, it was sporadic. My favorite matches were Diesel & Kane. Those 2 matches, especially the Diesel one was the first time he was challenged and was his best Mania match, quality wise, up to that point Excited for Part 2

Can tell Suraj had fun editing this haha. Anyway, the scariest thing about Undertaker was he was fucking huge but still somehow so agile. He should NOT have been able to do some of the moves he was doing lmao. Also fun fact, Paul Bearer is also a punny name. It's a pun on Pallbearer, who are the people who carry coffins at funerals. Embarrassingly, i didn't learn this till a few weeks ago lmao. All these years I didn't know! (Also I laughed at Rana's comically oversized water...jug? More like a tank. I need to get that! At around 62:42 for anyone who wants to see lmao)

Good job Suraj on the editing, but maybe you should’ve just added that The Streak ONLY happened at WrestleMania where he was undefeated. Taker did lose other matches but it was rare when it happened. Taker was protected by the fact that if he lost it was because of outside interference or someone using a weapon on him. Would like to see more of these types of career edits for other legends like Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, Mick Foley, Triple H, etc.
