For starters, the reason you aren't watching "the highest rated match ever" is a combo of a) it being the 4th match in a series between Kenny and Okada that it's full of callbacks to, but also those matches are close to 2 hours combined on top of the match itself going over an hour, but more importantly, b) it was in New Japan Pro Wrestling, which are EXTREMELY protective of copyright and would likely be a nightmare as content creators. But it's actually funny, Omega and Okada's first match became the "first" (there's been a time or two historically but I digress) six star match from Dave Meltzer, and people lost their minds. Then their 2nd match was given 6.25, and that 4th match ended up getting 7 stars...which is admittedly going overboard but if you ever do see the match you may get it. I still say it's the best match I've ever seen on a personal note.

you probably havent seen the okada and kenny stuff because its genuiely like a pro wrestling nerds favorite rivalry, its so like meta and deep that you just had to be in that era to feel it, the okada and kenny stuff happened around the time when wwe was fucking dogshit and a bunch of wrestling fans looked over the pacific and saw new japan doing the lords work, and you had to be a real sicko to watch some of these matches, like i mean i was up at 3:30 am on some random virus ridden website because i didnt have the money to pay for new japan world as a teenager, it was wicked stuff

Goddamn I can't wait for you to dive more into Kenny, he's so fucking good. Also not to fan the flames, but Rana asked if AEW is more hype than WWE these days and....yesss? I mean WWE is still more popular, because it's WWE, but if you ask wrestling fans these days which is better, most who watch both will say AEW I think. WWE has been kinda in a rut for a year or so now, with a lot of complaints about it being that it focuses too much on celebrities and is becoming too safe and sanitised and just kinda boring and bland for the most part, both the wrestling and the stories/characters. That's not to say there hasn't been good stuff in WWE recently, there has, but I'm just talking about in general overall. Tbf it could be worse, they could be like 2018-19 era WWE which is literally the worst piece of dogshit I've ever had the displeasure of watching on a week to week basis (I actually did stop watching for a bit tbh). Also yeah MJF basically never breaks what's known as "kayfabe", he acts in character everywhere and barely ever breaks it lol. One of the last true workers.

Worth the potential virus 100 times over!

#SundayRundown I'm sure after this you'll have no shortage of Kenny Omega match recommendations. I'm going to recommend a way out there one: Kenny Omega vs Mike Angels (c) Canadian 24/7 Title No Ring Falls Count Anywhere Match. This match is legitimately insane, it takes place largely outdoors with no ring & it's what got Kenny a chance to wrestle in Japan. It's only 8.5 minutes & I can't recommend it enough. https://youtu.be/2XJF7huzUis?si=8OEMieJKYuTK4fT2

Yeah unfortunately NJPW won't ever make it to the channel. It's not worth the risk of a strike to show any footage or audio. Luckily you can react to classic AJPW 😆 Get some Taue, Kobashi, Kawada & Misawa in your life.

Really love when there’s a little info or lead up to the match they watch. Some matches are cool in isolation, but it’s always better if they get some context. There’s countless Kenny Omega matches to recommend, but for something different and a bit fun (especially if they get all the context and lead in segments) , I’ll recommend one of MJF’s. MJF v Adam Cole at All In 2023

I’d love to see the girls reacting to random wrestling clips. Kinda formatted like the try not to laugh vids you occasionally do. It could feature cool/fun/insane moments that aren’t going to be part of a match or rivalry reaction…could be things like Jake Roberts attacking Macho Man, lil baby Shawn Michaels breaking up The Rockers, Titus Worldslide etc
