Criston's death was genuinely almost as satisfying as Joffrey's death for me, brother got rejected by Rhaenyra and held the grudge for almost 20 years that is loser behaviour RIP bozo

RIP to Criston Cole, a GOAT who got butchered by this TV show. He’s first mentioned positively in a Jaime and Arianne Martell chapter in A Feast for Crows before being fully fleshed out in later books. GOT didn’t mention a lot of the knights from the Dance of the Dragons because of that. To answer Chris’s question about the flail (or morningstar, as you guys and the show call it): no, it’s not easy to swing a flail accurately. It’s heavy, dangerous to the user, gets stuck easily, and is hard to defend yourself with. It requires a lot of training to use it properly, and even then, you could still be in danger while using it in battle. The fact that Cole was able to use it so effectively during the sneak attack shows that he was one of the best warriors of his era and how feared he was by his enemies. They had to shoot him with arrows after he challenged them to a 2v1 (a 3v1 in the books). Despite the show cutting out a lot of his fighting achievements(he legit beat Daemon twice in a fight), he was still a great character for what they wanted to write him as.

George R. R. Martin uses the word 'craven' all the time, so that's probably why everyone says it now. The change might be a bit sudden but hearing them talk like the book characters is fun. Authors of long fantasy series tend to do this as well. Writing the next book, they discover a new word and everyone talks like that now.

when can we expect the reaction for the new Avatar Aang movie?

J. J.

You would think these guys, who built their channel on the ATLA reactions would've done it already. They didn't even do the trailer.

Dante Sparda

According to twitter they’re reacting to it today and are most likely posting it on Saturday. I’m just ready for the Godfather reactions

My new name (he/him)

I wanted to see an encounter between them before he died though.

#SundayRundown I'm sick of complaining every week about how disappointed I am with this show, so let's change it up and actually talk about something I enjoyed with this show, shocking I know!!!! I actually really like Gwayne as a character, he's the only Hightower I actually like and respect in this show, (the rest of them can fuck off and die and I'd celebrate), but Gwayne has actually surprised me with his characterization, how level headed and sensible he is, and not a total stuck up hypocrite like the rest of his family. I hope the show doesn't ruin his character for me later on though. Also it's funny how Mysaria kept trying to drive a wedge between Daemon and Rhaenrya by trying to remind Rhaenrya that she alone always remained loyal, only to turn around and start lying to Rhaenrya's face and killing innocent maids to cover up her lie, and all it took was one conversation with Alicent. I also can't stop laughing at the absurdity of Rhaenrya sending Alicent to be John Wick because like what even is this storyline? Like what are we even doing anymore?

#SundayRundown Is anyone on the show going to acknowledge that Daemon was right about using the gold from the Vale to pay the City Watch instead of just giving it out to some people that Mysaria made him do? He has been trying from Day 1 to secure Kings Landing with the Gold Cloaks and Rhaenyra and Mysaria have made it impossible for him to do so. The only reason Rhaenyra has gotten as far as she has is because the Gold Cloaks felt personal loyalty to Daemon. She has done nothing to earn the loyalty of anyone around her. Lets also note that Daemon is out there doing Mysaria's job as well, which is finding rebels and assassins in the city. Mysaria has been of zero help with this entire conspiracy from Ormund.
