#SundayRunDown Mystique didn't birth Rogue she just adopted her in disguise when Rogue ran away from home her mutant hating dad. Mystique had Rogue being a villian before she joined the X men, Rogue absorbed Captain marvels powers on a mission lead by Mystique which is why she can fly and has super strength permanently. Rogue then ran away after that, found Xavier and he had to mind wipe Rogue cause Captain marvel consciousness is still inside her brain and Carol is in a coma.

#SundayRundown It was really cool getting to see Exodus in this episode. In the comics he's legit Omega Level and one of the strongest telekinetics in all of Marvel. He's also a 12th Century Crusader from France, so he's been around a while.

Man, Illyana dying like that was some BULLSHIT. She's a teleporter/portal maker, why on god's green earth did she just stare at Colossus instead of either teleporting away or making a portal to redirect the beam? It's like Pa Kent in Man of Steel all over again!

Since Magic’s powers or alter ego thingy are tied to Hell imma assume she’ll be back later on

You guys keep saying he already has 4 horsemen but that was in the future where this Apocalypse came from and he'd already lost them so he needs new horsemen now, I'm pretty sure a Gambit that wasn't nerfed could take out Apocalypse and I'd figure him turning him into a horsemen gives him some kinda boost like how Angel became Archangel

In this iteration of X-Men, Rogue and Nightcrawler are step siblings.Rogue was adopted by mystique after running away from her family. Nightcrawler’s father in this universe is a German aristocrat.

#SundayRundown Finally! My specific knowledge of Mystique and her children shall finally come in handy! So Rogue is actually the only child that Mystique did raise, because Mystique adopted Rogue when she was a child. Graydon Creed is her son with Sabertooth as y'all know. And she has a son with Charles Xavier called Charles Xavier Jr. who appeared once, when being born, and never again! And a few kids from alternate futures who are so numbered I can't even fully begin to explain them all. Now time for the big one. Chris asked 'why don't you just grow a penis' and the answer to that is she did and that's how Nightcrawler was born. Kurt is Mystique's kid with her longtime wife Destiny(who is canonically Irene Adler from Sherlock Holmes(Mystique is also Sherlock Holmes, that's canon)) who was the one who carried Kurt to term. This was was always going to be the plan, according to head X-Men writer at the time Chris Clairmont, once it was decided Mystique was Kurt's parent, but Marvel Editorial(including at the time Editor-in-Chief Jim Shooter who forbade queer character in Marvel) said it couldn't be done so Mystique was said to be the one who carried Kurt to term until a retcon in a 2023 one off issue that went into Kurt, Mystique, and Destiny's past as a family and the origins of Kurt's conception. Suraj was right though! He said it was Azazel that was Kurt's father, and that was actually the truth for, I want to say twenty years or so but I could be wrong, but for a bunch of years that was the case, including when X-Men First Class was released. So ten X-Men trivia points to you man! It's just that a recent comic revealed that Mystique only pretended to have had Azazel's kid in a shockingly long term plot to stop him from taking over the world. Comics are weird.

#SundayRundown So fun fact, the Gambit we know is actually brain damaged. This is explored in the comics more, but it seems like they might be pulling from them to go into this story. Gambit's powers are actually Omega Level, like Magneto, but they were so strong so young, that he went to Mr. Sinister so he could remove a part of his brain to bring them under control. It's why in season 1 he was powerful enough to blow up the super sentinel on Genosha, his power ceiling is much higher than you'd realize. Hell, an alternate universe version of himself without the brain damage was called New Sun and basically destroyed the earth. I'm guessing Apocalypse healed Gambit, saw his max potential, and said "I WANT that!"

#SundayRunDown i know that it’s easy to condem Creed’s……well his entire existence. But Kurt is 1000% in the right. We can’t just kill someone because they do these vile things because everyone has the capacity for redemption. I mean hell you guys are watching Invincible where that’s Nolan’s entire arc. And that’s not because Kurt is catholic, it’s because he’s a hero. Thats what heroes do.

Denickart

Surprised we didn't get any lines from Professor Xavier's Ex Girlfriend Amelia Voght who was just chilling in the background this whole episode.

Exodus he's an omega level mutant fron the 11th century crusades, his omega level ability is his telekinesis but in addition to that he has top tear telepathy, teleportation, psionic blast, energy draining, superhuman durability and flight, healing and resurrection and faith empowerment.
