Fantastic ending to a great season of Avatar! Aang showing Azula what he can do in the Avatar State can do was a great change. His hesitation to kill her felt similar to his hesitation to kill Ozai in the final episode of the cartoon. My prediction for S3 is that they meet Guru Pathik after the Day of Black Sun, either in the western Airtemple or living among the Sun Warriors. This show hasn't built up his love for Katara enough for his blocked chakra dilemma to make sense yet. (Or maybe the Guru will teach him about energy bending instead of the Lion Turtle?)

I bunged watched the series this week to catch up with y'all's reactions and based on what the internet's been saying about it, I thought I would hate it, but it honestly wasn't that bad. Sure there's things I didn't like such as Aang being whiney the whole season or Azula flip flopping on her feelings about her brother but overall, I just enjoyed it for what it was. I also liked hearing everyone's different opinions on the show especially ATLA scholars Chris and Suraj giving their takes on what they did and didn't like about the series.
