He wasn’t overthinking. That would imply the movie was feeding extra info. He wanted a twist and was trying to force one even when the the movie just gave him the answer. The movie never tells us what he did with the cat after putting it in a garbage bag. The movie only takes place over like 4 or 5 days. It’s not like it was six months.

I love that the Normies are running the gamut from Mickey being shown a one wish willow and still being like SOMETHING ELSE IS GOING ON HERE IDK and meanwhile Pat's out here showing surprising growth with a nuanced take about the metaphor of bodily autonomy and assault.

Mickey does make one good point: who throws a beloved pet's body in the garbage? A great way to signal that not only did Bear's carelessness kill his cat but he literally tossed the body in the garbage instead of dealing with it properly after

Mickey being so stuck on the freaking cat was such a weird hill to die on, but I applaud his resilience 😂🤣 Also their relationship was much shorter than he thought, but overall great 2nd reaction. This is my 3rd time watching the movie & I’m someone that rarely rewatches movies & I still get goosebumps watching it. Glad we got to see HurricanRANA’s skin crawling throughout the full 2 hours🤣😂 PS: The shorts were a slight distraction 😍🤤🫠

I love the idea that Nikki genuinely saw Bear as a brother figure and based her book on Hansel and Gretel (a Love Story, not a Romance) on them, but the wish corrupted it and Freaky Nikki began writing the sexual natures of the story

Micky, Bear being soft about the whole cat thing was the equivalent of an old person grooming a younger person. He didn't care that it was possessed Nikki, he just wanted her to act like Nikki, and since the possessed Nikki basically doesnt have any brain function that DOESNT revolve around Bear, he was scolding her the same way you would scold a child that still doesn't know right from wrong

I will say, I remember Mickey being upset that in Andor, the love interest isn't just end up dead so she can become the main motivation of the main character like he think how it would happen. Seems like a character trait.

So Rana is the Pat of this reaction, huh? 😆 It's funny how both couches had 1 person who "got" the movie way before anyone else did. 2 FUN FACTS: 1- Curry Barker confirmed that Nikki is not really "possessed" in a demonic sense. Rather, a portion of her personality was sectioned off and exaggerated for the wish, while the rest of Nikki was suppressed. 2- The opening sequence with Nikki - from when she first appears on screen to when Bear makes the wish - was shot twice. Once with Inde Navarrette acting like she's into Bear, and once acting like she's not. Then Barker (also the editor of the film) cut between those two, in order to keep the audience (and Bear) guessing as to whether or not Nikki liked him back. The whole point is that we don't know for sure what her response to Bear's affection would be; 'cause Bear ruined that chance.
