"You can't just go back to normal life and school after experiencing all that" and that is literally what Ichigo tries to do after every arc kkkkkkkkkkk Yeah this here basically should have been the end of Yu Yu Hakusho, Togashi was in a LOT of pain and being work to the death, so the next arc is a little hushed but its still cool (kinda like the Majin Buu arc in DBZ i guess?) Im really happy that you guys are in love with the show. It was a jorney to see all of you getting more and more into it and now you guys are one of us! Welcome to the Yu Yu fandom :)

"It takes at least one other person to find the courage to be cruel" is such a hard line. As for why anime always lists people's blood types, in Japanese culture your blood type is sort of a personality indicator. Sort of like how people's zodiac signs supposedly determine their personality type.

Yeah, exactly!! Old school fan subs in the early 2000's taught me that. That's something I really miss about fan subs back in the day; they would give you little tidbits of Japanese culture to help give context for some of the dialogue.

True, but to be fair I'd say a fundamental difference is that while yes both are more"delinquent" characters Ichigo actually saw himself as part of the world and actually having/wanting a future vs Yuusuke who really never thought he actually belonged there. Yuusuke likely sees his power as an out, while Ichigo see's it as something he needs to balance into his life.

Y'all should watch the S4 end credits because it actually shows how Yusuke cut his long demon hair. Plus, S4's end credit song is a banger and one of my favorite ending songs in any anime!

I disagree. I actually think the final arc is very good thematically, even if it was unintentional. I can't say why until the end, but I think the shift in focus is actually very fitting for an end. Very realistic for how real life goes. Sometime you get a fixation in your head and feel it's extremely important to complete, only to do so realize there's no more meaning in that than going down a different route.

I will say that the ambiguity of the doctor and his, "Sensui persuaded us to be evil! No wait, actually we did want do this" is something that Dub added. I think Togashi didn't intend on him regretting his actions and more so his words during that scene are much more in the lines of looking back and thinking, "What good times. But life goes on". This is added to the fact that I checked and the anime(both sub and dub), added a line saying he helped many sick people with his dojo. The manga just iterates that he was still at large, named his abilities psychic healing, and created a dojo called the miracle hand.

If this truly were the end of our journey I would not be angry, it’s such a nice wrap up leaving so many of our characters better than they’ve ever been. Even the little mystery of yusuke and his demon blood works to give the characters something to strive for to let us know their adventures are never done.
