For a lot of people Aquaman had become a punchline. He was frequently parodied as a useless hero & didn't have a strong presence outside the comics. It was very cool to see him shown here as OP. The character had a point in what he was saying about the surface world so besides being very powerful he was also well-rounded & fleshed out.

Jason moama could’ve been a good aquaman if they’d written him 25-30% less humorous and make him less of a hobo in the first movie.

#SundayRundown Great reaction!! This Aquaman was definitely the creative team trying to make him cooler to general audiences since he didn't have any other adaptations since the Superfriends. Also, I vaguely recall reading/hearing somewhere that what Batman whispered to Deadshot was "I know where you live, Floyd."

#sundayrundown This was the best animated version of Aquaman ever in my opinion. After years of being a joke in the Super Friends, he finally got his due. I HOLLERED when he punched John in the face- GL had it coming :-). That was right in character for him too- he doesn't waste much time talking. Get in his way and he will get you out of it as fast as possible. And he was smart enough not to hit Wonder Woman- Diana would have WRECKED him in front of the entire world assembly :-).

I know we already moved past Batman Beyond but there’s quite a lot on YouTube who seem pretty upset we skipped the Batman Beyond Episode 1x5 "Meltdown." Looking back on it, I feel we should've fought harder for it like we did for STAS “The Late Mr. Kent,” since it's one of the best Batman Beyond episodes and concludes the story of a tragic character. Do you think you'll ever reconsider and go back to watch the episode?

Yeah, it's kinda strange, they have him appear in STAS but then when he appears in JL, he's A. Completely different appearance wise, B. Has a bit of a different personality, not drastically different but still and C. They act in this ep as if it were Superman's and his first meeting, which it obviously wasn't. I wonder what made them change it, it's like they saw their STAS version and went "nah, don't like that, we're gonna ignore it, let's start over with him" lol.

He mainly interacted with Lois in that episode. All Superman really said to him was that he'd have to stop him if he tried to start a war with the surface dwellers.
