#SundayRundownBleach In this episodes we begin to see the climax of some character arcs, specially Orihime. After going threw so much she has finally found her own way of fighting to protect, just like it was teased in the arrancar saga with her conversation with Hachi. This moment is spectacular because out of everyone it is Ichigo and Orihime who get to fight the final boss alone, imagine someone telling you that in the earlier arcs, it would have sound insane. Yet here we are and Orihime had and awesome display by being able to reject Yuhas power and stand up before Ichigo, so all the slander she's had over the years just got rejected. Also, Yuha right now is the strongest being after having absorb the soul king so her being able to block his attacks is crazy feat of her growth and power. And the moment Ichigo and her exchange eyes just for her to understand the plan was beutifull and perfectly adapted. The anime went the extra mile to showcase why she's best girl and the shield to Ichigo's blade and heart.

#SundayRundown Bleach TYBW This is a long one since it’s for both EPs The flower Orihime compared to represent Ichigo is known as the Fire Lily (Gloriosa Superba) The fire lily, or flame lily, spiritually symbolizes rebirth, resilience, and passionate energy. It is known for blooming brightly after wildfires, representing life rising from ashes. It’s Core Spiritual Meanings * Renewal: Rising from the ashes of destruction to show hope and fresh starts. * Inner Fire: Representing strong passion, drive, and bold ambition. * Resilience: Flourishing and standing strong against tough conditions. As Ichigo is able to protect everything & everyone, he loses sight of himself, to which that is where, Orihime becomes the shield to his sword. Now Here we have a rare full on battle of wits turned into brute force and what better than it to be the most intelligent character of the series in Kisuke Urahara with one of, if not the most fatally haxed character there is: Askin Nakk Le Vaar who’s clearly even more of a JoJo’s-Esque character than Yumichika not only in flamboyance but also in haxed intelligence and when dealing with that of Death-Dealer, you’re gonna need the very best & brightest in intelligence that Bleach has to offer by none other than the same man that outsmarted even Aizen and with coincidentally an ability that is ranged just like a Stand- The most Surgically Complex Ban-Kai- ‘Kannon-Biraki Benihime Aratame’ (“Modified Crimson Princess of Dissection” * The Deity: "Kannon" (known as Avalokiteśvara in Sanskrit) is the Buddhist Bodhisattva of mercy and compassion. This reflects the Bankai's ability to act as a savior by instantly healing fatal injuries. * The Double Doors: In Japanese, Kannon-biraki is a term used for double doors that open outward from the center (like a wardrobe or cabinet). * The Dissection: Anatomically and culinarily, the term refers to making a central incision and peeling back two sides (a "butterfly cut"). This perfectly represents how Urahara's Bankai physically cuts and splits open objects or flesh to remodel them. 2. Benihime — Crimson Princess * Retained from his Shikai, Beni means "Crimson/Deep Red" and Hime means "Princess". * It represents the beautiful yet bloody, hazardous nature of his blade's power. 3. Aratame — Revision / Modification * Derived from the verb aratameru (to renew, alter, or examine). * This suffix indicates that the Crimson Princess has been radically modified or overhauled into a new form. It points directly to the Bankai's ultimate mechanism: rewriting, updating, and reconstructing the properties of anything it touches. This reflects Kisuke’s personality to strategically & surgically manipulate his surroundings and others, maintaining the status quo for better or for worse. As a call back to earlier in the arc, when it was revealed, that hollows are a poison to Quincy’s, and therefore even given an opening to Resurrección Grimmjow to land the final blow foreshadowed in Senjumaru’s Bankai- The "metal and spikes" imagery in her loom of fate represents the cold, brutal, and piercing nature of Grimmjow's surprise physical assassination. As for Askin’s “Hass Hein” (God’s Poison Tester) Vollständig: This is an Auto-Adaptation: It supercharges his innate Schrift ability (The DeathDealing), allowing him to automatically adapt to changes in any "poison" or spiritual energy affecting him as long as the base property remains the same. Immunity: It prevents enemies from bypassing his defenses by rapidly altering their spiritual pressure (Reiatsu), rendering changing attacks useless against him. Signature Moves: In this form, he gains access to large-scale lethal area attacks like Gift Ball Deluxe and instant-death focal strikes like the Gift Ring. For EP 43 And so, This is a prime example of how Bleach is more subtly complex & darker/disturbing compared to its peers & contemporaries. It is revealed here in all its clarity, that unlike that in other series where the main characters main goal/dream is laid out from the jump as something to aspire to, like in Naruto being the Hokage for acceptance or in One Piece with Luffy being the Pirate King for freedom, you would think Ichigo should want to be the very thing that that allows him to protect everything in a spiritual focused world, that being none other than the Soul King. However as it was originally revealed in the novel CFYOW (“Can’t Fear Your Own World”) you do NOT want to be the Soul King as it is not what it seems as you would be stripped of any free will and conscience reduced to nothing but a comatose limbless linchpin holding the worlds together, yet just as we saw back in the Fullbring arc when Ginjo revealed to Ichigo that he was being monitored by his soul reaper badge which she thought was a symbol of trust was actually meant to track and restrict his powers if necessary, surveying him should he have ever gone rogue has a safety precaution or using him like they did Ginjo- that it did not phase nor distract Ichigo from the mission at hand to protect others and the worlds at large. To put it how Tobey Maguire‘s Spider-Man said it best “There are bigger things happening here than me and you” never forget what’s most important beyond yourself. Lastly as for Ichigo & Orihime’s moment of silent staring of understanding & mutual trust, he intentionally slowed down knowing she couldn’t keep up to signal to her that he had a plan and that he’s not recklessly charging throwing his life away, that being to use Yhwach’s Quincy Reiatsu so it would awaken/trigger the white transformation on his larger Zangetsu blade (leading into what is known as his composite transformation form the “Horn of Salvation” as a true hybrid form). He needed those repeated “reckless-looking” charges to force the reaction. Once the blade starts turning white, he immediately has her switch to block the next blast while he finishes the process. Yet another prime example of complex subtlety. Starting next week, we reach the point of never before seen Eps as these first 3 were released in theaters, and the next few might just be the best not only in Bleach, but also anime and TV history. Lastly, here’s my comprehensive Google doc for all of the keyboard pages thus far, just scroll down to the one for EP 42 and 43 https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-KkeN51kcTj5GyGuZVXd21UFYBm_RgzcqOMPRpb9oPY/edit?usp=drivesdk

Thank you for the double D!

Even the Normies have the Visoreds on Fraud Watch LOL

Ah yes. Special Threat Rukia defeats Royal Guard Leader Lille with her bankai! One of my favorite episodes of Cour 3

Tom

Soooo, the poem at the end of Ep. 43 was not Rukia, I don't know why the subtitles said that but that's wrong. I can't say who it actually was, you'll just have to find out.

Step B.

Yall giving Rukia too much credit she did not fight Lille Barro 😭 That was Shunsui and Nanao that fought him, Nanao reflected his power back onto him and blew him up into pieces that fell down from the Royal Palace to the Seireitei. The person you’re thinking of that is fighting his little pieces is Izuru Kira who has a hole in his torso. Also why do people keep thinking Kenpachi is a perfect fight for Gerard? 😭 The guy that only cuts people is supposed to counter the guy who only gets bigger and stronger every time he’s cut? 🤣 I wanna remind yall that Byakuya turned him into pulp when he was regular sized and this is what he became shortly after

Jackie Gibson

I'm just gonna say I hope Pat makes it to the next one, it would be tragic otherwise 😂

#SundayRundownBleach To answer Suraj's question, no, his Bankai isn't how Urahara made the hogyoku. Once his bankai is deactivated or something moves outside of his bankai's radius, any 'restructuring' that he does with it will revert to the original state. So it's useless for making permanent changes.

Original

I don't get why i pay for this when it was posted on YT at the same time? + it says 6 weeks in advance? im i just confused here

Michael Acuna

With all the fights going on, it is absolutely precious to see Orihime and The Strawberry fight together!!

Thanks for the double drop, great reactions. The entire couch HAS TO BE THERE for Episodes 44 and 45, trust me. Can't wait !

#SundayRundown #BLEACH I gotta' remember, Tuesday is "BLEACH" day now! What is up with those damn subtitles giving the wrong name at the end?! It's got nothin' to do with Rukia. 😫 And why does Hulu suck so bad...for everyone else?! When I deactivated auto play, I never had another problem. 🤨 Your ending discussion is a big complaint I've had with the WHOLE story; and frankly, a lot of stories like this one: Too many good guys, not enough bad guys to go around, so a LOT of the good guys have to end up doing jack squat, so the main stars can be awesome takin' out the baddies. Because of this, I'd actually prefer if these stories killed off more characters, rather than keeping them around to stand on the sidelines or be slumped immediately. 🤷🏽‍♂️ To his credit, Kubo knows that a lot of these side characters never amounted to much, which is why he threw most of them a bone in the anime version of TYBW. Shinji's bankai (which y'all seem to have forgotten about) was anime-only, as were a lot of the interactions he and the other Vaizards had throughout this arc. This here was the final little cookie they were given in anime-form. They get to be awesome as a team 1 more time (at least aesthetically), before getting taken out of commission so the heavy hitters can step in. 😛

"Watch 6 WEEKS AHEAD on 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 shows (excluding 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗲𝗿 shows), and exclusive movies:" They watch anime in dub. How would they be six weeks ahead on something that hasn't even come out yet? Watching six weeks ahead is for shows they're "binge" watching, like Snowfall. On YT 3x4 just dropped, while 5x10 dropped on Patreon.

You know what I realized? The upcoming episode 49 for sub got delayed all the way to October 19. This means that while the sub watchers have to wait over a month for the next episode, the Normies get to enjoy the season in dub while everyone else waits in the same month. By the time, I guess waiting for dub wasn’t a fatal mistake after all.

Askin Nakk Le Vaar

“So what does the Bankai do?” “Are you seriously askin..” “Yes. I’m always Askin.” Jokes aside the part where Urahara reconstructed space and rides the stitches wasn’t originally in the manga aside from one panel. That one panel had the director ask Kubo himself if Urahara is riding them before they animated it. Btw, can I get a heart? Grimmjow ripped mine out. 💔 First Yoruichi and now Grimmjow. Attractive cat people are sure fatal.

I laughed when the subtitles said Rukia, they don't even sound alike

#SundayRundown Suraj bringing up the hogyoku being constructed with Kisuke's bankai is an interesting interpretation, it's not been specifically confirmed that his bankai has been involved in his creations but it would make sense. In my headcanon, he used his bankai to make the gigai that he specifically created for Isshin to inhabit and save Masaki, which made him human. Kubo revealed that one of the reasons Rukia didn't suspect Isshin to be a Shinigami was because the idea of one having a human child was unheard of, and only Kisuke could make that possible. I also really like that Ichigo just accepted that he was next in line to be the soul king, Yuha tried to get into his head but Ichigo has been so used to rug pulls at this point that he just rolls with it. That conversation was not revealed in the manga, we had no idea reading it back then that Ichibei planned to do this. Which also tells you the true purpose for those soul tickets that Shunsui gave to his family and friends, in the event that Ichigo becomes the soul king, they can visit him. Even though Shunsui was shameless enough to recruit Aizen for the greater good, he was wrecked with guilt when he had that talk with Tatsuki, Keigo and Mizuiro. You guys might have also heard that the last 2 episodes have been delayed until October 19th and 26th, which means the dub will be caught up by then so technically you're not gonna be waiting as long as us. And make sure you have a full coach for episode 5, we reject anything less.

PacoTaco

They postponed the dub 49/50 for Nov . So still a month after the sub

Original

idk how it works i just ay the money to watch thats why i asked idk when this stuff gets relased lol but thanks

Shockzz1234

I think when people say he's a perfect fight for Kenpachi, they don't mean in terms of it's perfect for Kenpachi to WIN, it's perfect for Kenpachi to let loose. He can keep cutting him up forever and he's strong lol. It's the perfect near enough never ending fight vs an absurdly strong opponent he lives for.

Artistikk

You guys should continue watching on Disney+. Hulu is awful when it comes to the after credit scenes/poem. Your Hulu sub allows you to watch on Disney+.

Ep 42 It is funny and sad to me that TYBW had to animate new scenes and then make them look like old footage because of how badly the OG anime ruined the Ichigo-Orihime dynamic. Bankai represents the innermost essence of one's soul. So Kisuke's Bankai looking like a puppeteer is yet another giveaway to his inner dark personality. The presentation when he said his final words to Askin is yet another example. He may be on our side, but he is just as questionable as Mayuri, which people often forget. This is why, in my comment from the last upload, I explained how what happened to Yoruichi is a very serious issue and is overlooked because of the fanservice. As for Kisuke himself, it is very interesting that his Bankai appears to be "sad" and is using its hands to shield Urahara when it was initially released and when it ended as well. That gives rise to a lot of implications. Is he regretting what he has become? Or does he regret what he has become to protect himself? Love how Navi touched upon how Kisuke was forced to use Bankai despite him not wanting others to know about his true self. As for the mechanics, Kisuke purposefully faked Askin by showcasing that his Bankai is limited in range at first, only for him to bring in Grimmjow from an even greater distance. Urahara knew he needed help to win against Askin (an example being how he was able to negate the poison at first when he reconstructed his arm as the arm turned from being red to normal but failed to do the same later with his feet after Askin intensified the Gift Ball Deluxe), so he bought time for Grimmjow to come in and do his task. Askin had also adapted to Grimmjow's reiatsu in Cour 3, but the change in the reiatsu's nature itself through Resurreccion is what allowed Grimmjow to deal the final blow. Grimmjow probably also used Pesquisa to slip past Askin's perception to deal the final blow. Since Suraj asked, we already know how Aizen gouged out the souls of people with reiatsu alongside another element that is yet to be revealed to create his version of the Hogyoku. Aizen then stole Urahara's version and fed it to his to complete the Hogyoku. So I don't think Urahara's Bankai has anything to do with its creation since Urahara would need to repeat the same process as what Aizen did. The creation of the Hogyoku is yet another example of Urahara's morality, which I talked about earlier. I loved how Ichigo was trying to lift the mood with a joke to Orihime to ease the worries before entering the throne room. He said it would be unfair to go two-on-one against Yhwach as a joke, when we know then even that might not make it fair. Also, that moment is the culmination of both their arcs intersecting to reach a peak. Back in the Arrancar arc, for example, Ichigo had an unhealthy tendency to push away his friends to protect them from danger and take it all on his own, but here we see how he has overcome that obstacle, having self-actualised back during Blade is Me. Jugram's words to Uryu are so layered and meta. In the manga, Jugram did not have the black cloak form, and the Almighty went back to Yhwach fully. But here we see that Jugram retains a portion of the Almighty while Yhwach gain back a majority of it. This is signified by Jugram still having the three eyes, but the colour of the eyes changing from being red to blue as he dons the new cloak form. Ichigo was also surprised to see Yhwach use the black reiatsu (the Almighty is a part of the Soul King's black power, as we have seen the Soul King having four irises compared to Yhwach's three irises) to block his attack, as it was his and Uryu's plan to deal with Yhwach in a weakened state. With that in mind, Jugram is literally talking to the manga readers, as he was talking to Uryu. Jugram said you do not comprehend the power of the Almighty to the manga readers, as everyone was expecting it to go back to Yhwach, only for the expectations to be subverted by what had happened. Another meta element that happened in ep 42 is how Yhwach used the black goo to his advantage. In the manga, Yhwach is literally wielding the power of the manga itself (black ink is the very essence of a manga) to do what he wants. That can't be captured in the anime, so the anime made it a bit different. Here, there were a couple of scenes where Yhwach was trying to smother Ichigo with the black goo within the confinement of the scenes we are watching. Yhwach also ended the episode in his favour by crushing Ichigo with the black goo from both ends of the screen. After all, Yhwach was a god to begin with. He then took control of the story from Ichibei through their battle and then absorbed the Soul King to become the narrative itself, taking the role of fate in the story. Ep 43 The OG anime changed the complexion of the Fullbring arc's conclusion. It was the last episode in the OG anime, so I understand the change, but the manga counterpart has so many more layers to it. Basically, Ichigo warned the Soul Society that if they continued their practices, he would go against them, which is so important to the Ichibei revelation that happened in this episode. Yhwach, at this moment, is testing Ichigo's resolve. But Ichigo has grown so much that he is not going to let Yhwach waver his conviction by appealing to his previous ideals. While Ichigo knows what is happening, he is prioritising what is at stake here and will not allow Yhwach's revelation to be an obstacle. Yhwach's words to Ichigo are so dense. He is basically a god to begin with and has even grown past that, but his words also make it seem like he acknowledges that Ichigo is a god in his own right as well. Another layer is how it feels like he is genuinely coaching Ichigo to be at his best. It can easily come off as sarcastic, but when applying the context of Yhwach's character, that is not the case. The Ichigo-Orihime dynamic is built up here as well. Orihime at the start of the story was able to read Ichigo when he used to hide his true emotions, and that has been developed over all this time, so that a single look was able to send a message across. Gerard's character is so interesting considering how his conceptual powers contextualise him. He is portrayed as the hero of a story. He is the Miracle. He can overcome impossible situations for that very reason, like a hero always does. And his sword, Hoffnung, uses people's hopes to his advantage. When the hope is shattered, despair rains down on those who damaged the sword. Comparing Gerard to Yammy is disrespectful lol. Gerard is much better. Yammy has some value to him, but the execution is not fulfilling. The thing is, I never expected the Vizards to do anything to Gerard, as that is very unrealistic. Kubo could have done something more with them through different decisions in the past. We did get something from them in Turn Back the Pendulum, but we could have used a bit more from them. But that is well in the past, and I can't see a moment where they would have had an impact here. I don't think it is fair to measure Shinji against Aizen since very few can do that. Shinji did well against Grimmjow as well. He did well against Bambietta at first, but he did get slumped eventually. It was Shunsui and Nanao who dealt with Lille, not Rukia. Rukia was with the group at the start of the fight with Gerard, but he took her out using his Superman-esque breath. Lille lost his immortality thematically due to having committed blasphemy and mechanically due to being hit by his own powers, signified by losing his halo as he dispersed to fall to the Seireitei. There, we saw Kira pull up to deal with the remnant bird-like form of Lille.
