This episode basically serves as the finale for the book "Leviathan Wakes." A couple little bits happen after; something like a chapter or two. I actually give the studio credit for choosing to give enough time to develop the story properly, rather than try to cram it in one season. Bit risky, but totally worth it.

The first two seasons are actually on Netflix in the UK.

I believe Netflix has distribution of the show outside the US ( except for Canada and New Zealand) and sci-fi has it for US. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Netflix distribution covers a big chunk of the cost. For comparison overseas Netflix distribution of Star Trek Discovery fully covers its 8.5 million per episode budget.

Miller is a damned hero! You guys may think he was creepy (I thought it was sweet how the Mao case gave him something to live for) but, in the end, he came through and talked "proto-Julie" off the ledge and saved Earth. If he wasn't so calming and willing to go down with her, it could have went VERY badly for everyone.
