Uh oh did someone post the wrong episode? This is episode 18. I don't think you're that far ahead. It seems more likely you watched episode 18 by accident instead of episode 8. Hopefully you didn't miss "Paradise Lost" which is 1X8 & 1X9.

The Normies

We are watching on HBO Max and Injustice for all is 8 and 9 on there. Paradise Lost is 10 and 11, so don't worry, they were watched. Just out of order from when it originally aired apparently.

SunnydaleClassof99

Thanks for responding. Unfortunately that's all too common when it comes to streaming services. You shouldn't have to two source verify the watch order but 🤷‍♀️

#SundayRundown This is a great episode. Lex was so obsessed with Superman it didn't cross his mind that Kryptonite could be dangerous to him as well. It's also a fitting comeuppance for an episode of STAS you didn't see. Lex offers the merc John Corben a second chance in life with a robot body after he receives a fatal health diagnosis. This creates the villain Metallo. It's later revealed though that John was only sick because Lex secretly had him poisoned.

#SundayRundown Great reaction!! Hope Suraj and Rana enjoy this one!! Lex is dying and he's more determined to take out Superman before his time!! I loved this episode as a kid and would rewatch this all the time. It was my introduction to so many supervillains! Joker's appearance at the end especially was such a fun reveal. Also to answer Navi's question about why Lex didn't ask for a Joker... let's just say Lex has hard feelings about the last team up! Though he's definitely willing to put up with him after taking down Batman there!!

Ultra Humanite was Superman's first arch-nemesis and originally just a bald scientist until an artist got him and Lex Luthor, who had a full head of hair at the time, mixed up. Bald Lex stuck while Humanite was phased out and reintroduced decades later as a super genius that transplanted his brain in a gorilla.

Imagine being one of the most intelligent humans and not think that a glowing rock that emits radiation could be harmful to you. Just look how much that room was lit up in the building like a disco ball. 0:03

Really wished we got both parts

Brandon Corchado

I think this episode has Mark Hamill's greatest laugh as the Joker.

#SundayRundown The timing between Lanterns reactions & the JL ones are hilarious. Y’all meet Carol Ferris then see Star Sapphire in the same week 💓. S. Sapphire is a ruthless alternate persona who sees GLs as enemies and fought Hal in repeated clashes, usually with no memory of her actions once she turned back into normal Carol. Carol & Hal are generally a couple in his stories. And Navi is correct, y’all saw Shade in YJ in S4

Zeee

Tons of them

Reynaldo Urena

Posted a similar post on Lanterns too, they’ll see one of us and be informed, damn it 🤝

Zeee

Great minds

The thing about villain team ups against the Justice League is that if Batman is there and you don't invite the Joker, he will be vindictive.

Steve Harvey Dent

Don't worry Chris. You'll get your grodd real soon.

how can we get Navi to do reactions to the Snyderverse? she mentions she likes darker takes on these heroes so why not? I think even the boys mentioned liking Man of Steel so it might be a fun reaction. just saying lol

#SundayRundown Another great episode that pulled heavily from the comics. Post-Crisis Lex Luthor in the comics lost a hand to kryptonite poisoning because he wore his chunk as a ring to keep Superman off him. It was no accident he left Joker off his team. Most villains assembling a team don't call Joker because he's too unstable and will wreck your plans because it's Thursday and he's bored :-).

Shockzz1234

It's this or the one in Mask of the Phantasm for sure.

Shockzz1234

I quite like it though, because it shows just HOW fixated he is on Superman that his ONLY thought regarding the glowing green rock was "this can take down Superman!" and not anything else lol.

CJ Dennis

Always loved the way Martian Manhunter says the line "end of an era" lol. Also, that Flash "being so fast he can't get a date" joke is always used in every "top 10 adult joke in kids show" list, despite the fact that this show has way more that range from subtle to blatant 😅😅.

J. J.

#Sundayrundown this one's for Suraj, fun fact - Phil Lamarr the voice of Green Lanturn is also one of the two guys who holds up Tobey Maguires Spiderman from falling in the infamous train scene in Spiderman 2.

Stan the Man

I keep saying that. It’s kinda ridiculous to do one at a time. 52 episodes. That’s an entire year. Plus the JLU 36ish episodes. So they’ll be doing this into 2028.

Stan the Man

Injustice For All should be much later than this. Interesting.

Brandon Cho

JLU has a good Grundy episode. @Spidey that Ace Vane skit is goated 😂

Loyiso Maqubela

I hope you combine “Part 1 and Part 2 [and part 3 where necessary]” for the Season 2 Reactions ;-)

Austin Lucek

Lex still hasn't gotten over the last time Joker teamed up with him. Hence why Lex didn't call him
