You can see a Quiet Place: Day One even though you haven't seen part 2 (you've seen Part 1). I think you'll enjoy it, especially the cat parents in your group. It's more thriller than horror so maybe you can fit it in sometime during the year before next Halloween. Hope you still plan to react to Hope even though it didn't work out on your schedule for today. I haven't watched it yet but feels like it would be a fun reaction movie to watch along with you all. 😊

Dammit really wish you would just watch Smile 2 after this instead of waiting until next year, esp with the stuff Rana is saying re: the solving the curse. By next year she's not going to remember any of that and impact/enjoyment of vindication won't be there anymore.

Would love it if this crew can react to Carrie. You can either start with the movies and build up to the new Mike Flanagan TV series or just go into the TV series completely blind. I think you'll enjoy it and it's great for reactions.

I agree with Marketa about showing the monster vs. keeping it mysterious. Though, in this case, it's not so much the showing of the monster I have a problem with as it is the cheesy talking of the monster. Smiling is one thing, but cartoon villain dialogue in that typical Hollywood Satan voice kinda' ruins it. 😛 --- I don't know if Twitch chat told you, but this film is based on a short the director made before. "Laura Hasn't Slept" is the short film, and now it's basically a prequel to this film, as Laura is the same character (and same actress) that appears at the beginning of this film (and is on the poster). I highly recommend watching it (Possibly reacting to it?) if you can find it. Maybe before watching part 2. 🤷🏽‍♂️ "Night Swim" is another one that came out around the same time based on a previous short. That one was...less well received.
