I'm glad you're all pacing yourself at 3 a week (by way of the schedule), because I ended up binging the last season in a matter of a few DAYS and it FUCKED me up, even by this point. Watching the the war progress like it did.. ..the meeting between Jerome and Franklin going completely sideways in the restaurant.. to it all culminating in Jerome's death.. It's all incredibly heartbreaking. This show.. it portrays the characters, their behaviors and actions in a very realistic way. There's nothing out of character done for shock value or necessarily contrived for the plot's sake, in my opinion. The moral and ethical dilemmas we see them grapple with.. are believable given the context. Just like in The Sopranos, the main characters are portrayed as complex human beings. Not everyone in the game is a sociopath or moral bankrupt person. It's normal to empathize with them. Even Franklin. Most of them have heavily compromised their morals and principles. As in it is taking a serious toll on most of them, whether that's on a conscious level or not.

I knew from episode 1 of the series that Jerome would die. The foreshadowing was subtle but there. Yes, Franklin has every right to be upset about his money being stolen but him having tunnel vision is why everything is the way that it is. Bu then again, I guess that's the whole point...tunnel vision. Again, the foreshadowing going all the way back to season 1. Damn the writers did a phenomenal job with this series.
