Fun fact the movie set Franklin and Leon walked into was John Singleton filming the boyz n the hood

One of the best $15 I’ve ever spent 🫡🔥 I love this show and damsion’s performance throughout. It really was a full circle for Franklin…started off w 12/key with avi and thts all peaches had left for em in the end 😂

Jamaal Ellison

This is an elite reaction configuration and one of my favorite reactions of all time from the channel. Tremendous Franklin was the one who said he was free, I believe in the first episode; I am saying by the way as if I am confident I am right, but I could be wrong.

Jamaal Ellison

It is a much older show, but I recommend it; it is the antithesis of Snowfall, but it is an old series called The Shield, and if you have never seen it before, you should really watch it.

SayHelloToGod999

Peak show so glad you guys Enjoyed it so much!

@36:49 Chris that was me too when watching this episode. I was physically ill for three days after finishing this series and not because of Franklin's demise (because honestly it was inevitable) but because it was almost too real. As it was mentioned, we all know people just like this. Also, the more that I stewed with the ending, I realized just how top tier the writing was because having the foreshadowing of Alton's becoming Franklin's...chef's kiss!

Cortez

also a interesting head canon of mine Franklin laughing at the 12k he got out the safe was because that’s how much he made from his first kilo back with avi basically all of this work and bloodshed just to break even.

VonteThe1st

Notice how Franklin poked fun at Wanda with the crackpipe, he still never did crack however he did start drinking like his dad.

Brandon Cho

Teddy woke up from death greeted by Ronald Regan (even tho he hadn't died at that time) like Uncle Ruckus that one time. Great reaction throughout the series guys. Consider The Americans.

VonteThe1st

In Season 1 episode 1 Franklin essentially says his goal was for freedom (financial liberation). Full circle moment man. This will forever be one of my highly recommended series.

Marquist Simms

Cissy the worst character on tv.She owanted franklin out of the game just wait till the momey transferred then kill teddy. He would be out yhe game go legit with his real estate where is the logic

GrayStark

Some couch pairings yall do don’t work super well, but this here? Definitely an all time reaction series for the channel.

Digital Alikin

Man boy told Franklin everyone close to him would betray him

Ibrahim Somo

It's been a hell of a ride. Enjoyed watching this for the first time with y'all, always put off watching it until I seen you guys reacting to it. Glad you stuck it out even though it hasn't gotten the best views. Where do we go to vote for polls? Interested to see the options on what replaces this.

Steffon Yarbrough

I think it was Mel in season 1 who asked Franklin what he wants. He say he just wants to be free. From it all.

Phil

I really appreciated your reactions to the finale, as well as the series as a whole, and your very mature reactions regarding the ending. Another group of reactors that your friends with also reacted to the finale and were upset that Franklin didn't get to ride off into the sunset, despite destroying his community, ruining his family, and being responsible for countless deaths. I felt this ending for Franklin was more fitting and simply killing him off or putting him in jail would have been way more cliché and boring.

*MY LAST GIANT LONG-WINDED ass comment, I swear. LOL* Truly one of the bleakest endings to a show, to a character... The first time I watched this episode, I called my boyfriend at the time (who had already seen it) and ended up drunk sobbing to him I was so upset. Lol But seriously.. A fate worse than death, ..if he never ends up recovering that is. It was deeply unsettling to watch and imagine that being how he ends up. To imagine that he never recovers and tries to redeem himself. It left me in a funk for weeks.. I still carry a lot of empathy for Franklin, despite the everything he did. I do not think he was a sociopath. I think he carried an immense amount of shame throughout the series for the things he did.. That he was able to bury, to an extent. It's why he mentally unraveled the way he did in trying to get his money back. To lose that money would make it a zero sum game. All of the horrible things he did to not have means to redeem any of it (in his eyes). (That was the plan, to monetarily help the black community.) Franklin was so determined to not be a slave to the system, aka a wage worker under capitalism, let alone as a black man under the most oppressive, racist capitalist system known in the world. Even if he personally had a very high chance of success, which he knew he did. And like most black capitalists, he thought could change the system of his oppressor by being an oppressor for a while.. As opposed to what Cissy and Alton believed as communists, revolutionaries. One might say Franklin completely deserves the ending he got. At least the part of him ending up living in squalor in the community he played a significant hand in destroying. I personally hope he's able to heal ..and recover.. and commit to redeeming himself. Anyway, I LOVE this show ..so fucking much, and I was so fucking elated you guys decided to watch it. It's truly is one of the best series ever, and it's, sadly, still very slept on. (Well, by white people anyway. Wonder why that is. Lol) I loved how true to life it was. How it continues to inform a lot of people on this country's true history, capitalism, geopolitics, systemic racism, ..addiction. I loved the discussions it brought up with you all. Thank you so much, guys. I enjoyed watching you all so much.

Cheesey1

well deserved ending for franklin saint. i was smiling the whole episode man F franklin

Mack

One of the best endings to a great show ever. Ending was incredibly satisfying and heartbreaking at once. Shouts to the writers and actors for real. Damson Idris portrayal as Franklin Sant is why I’ll always root for him to get all the success and accolades he can possibly get. Just a generational villain protagonist portrayal. Same for Carter Hudson as Teddy McDonald. Really enjoyed yall reaction to this great show.

The Normies

There is a poll right now for Sopranos’ replacement! We are going to be moving onto The Drop after snowfall

Ibrahim Somo

Preciate the response. Not a fan of musicals but will be watching, Spidey and Pat too goated😤

Angelo

One of the best shows ever made 🙌🏾

Angelo

He started with 12k for the first key and ended with 12k
