The Д girl

omg definitely read the treasure island, I'm so curious about what you would think. Now that you've started the show the book will surprise you))

Philip Simmonds

And now the fun begins... can’t wait for season 2...

Major May

I really hope their opinions on Flint change, especially because I'm ride or die with Flint

The Д girl

How do you guys hate Flint but like Vane so much I don't get it

bits

John Silver is like that boy that goes to Europe for the summer and comes back to school hot af, I love him so much lol 😍🤣 can't wait

Cuz they love that actor, he's in so many shows that it's hard to stay impartial lol

Arianne Kay

#TeamFlint 👀 Mondays are great, I always look forward to Black Sails! 🏴☠

MelGoethals

How dare you compare Flint to Jaha????

bits

I wish Max had died, she has got to be the most annoying character ever, and that horrendous french accent ayiyi 🙄🙄😤

Jevan

Gates did threaten flint straight to his face and basically said I’m taking away everything you built and worked for, for 10 years he was gonna take away his ship and captaincy at that point it’s like what did you expect to happen even though I liked Gates personally I don’t think he thought that threw very well

Jo

Flint needs to be brought to justice, but not Vane... for some reason... I guess rape and murder is A-ok as long as your are muscled and hot to these girls... lol

cosmotron

While I definitely disliked Flint after this my first time through, I also could not stand Vane and I'll never get how so many people like him at this point. The actor is great don't get me wrong, but Vane is pretty despicable. But then again, Max is also one of my favorites, and apparently a lot of people don't feel the same way, so idk. Definitely looking forward to the season two reactions!

Kyle Semenoff

I remember that shot of the Man O' War opening it's ports being my biggest "Oh shit!" TV moment of 2014.

GenAntilles

despite the firepower of the Man O'War... it wouldn't be a great pirate ship. To pay for the ammunition, crew, repairs, etc... all it takes to run a ship would be massive for a pirate. Not to mention those ships are incredibly slow and couldn't chase down any prey. Pirates stuck to smaller faster ships for raiding and pirating. A massive ship like this is only used by nations for battles against other ships like it. They are basically built only for set battles.

ikr his character progression is the best! Hope they pay more attention to him in season 2!

Jacob Seeloff

Since when was Florida a deserted island? Lol jk it's actually easy to miss that they're on the Florida coast. Also hilarious how quick they are to say fuck Flint when they know nothing about his backstory or his motivations. Can't wait to watch them learn more about him next season!

Jessica Conrad

pains me to see so many of them so against flint lmao he’s definitely not a “good guy” but he’s absolutely the protagonist and i love how complex and human he is. SO excited for you guys to get into season 2 and see more of his motivations!

Eric Hutton

After seeing how much you guys like the finale, you're definitely going to fall in love with season 2! Everything gets better and better from here.

Joe

I think you guys have misinterpreted Flints passed successes. He is the most successful captain on the island, but hunting the Irca has taken ages, so his crew are beginning to lose faith. He hasn't shit the bed.

Joe

Flint killed Gates because he betrayed him. If Gates had walked out that door, then his life was over, either at the hands of the crew or due to Gates deciding his fate and secreting him away. From Flints point of view it was a straight up betrayal.

Joe

I know it sucks, but come on people, Flint had obvious reasons to kill Gates.

Joe

Also, double standards much? Vane can do no wrong?

Panos

The funny thing is that Flint is the best character, along with Silver and they hate him for the time being.

SpeedyCat19

Remember that time Vane allowed his crew to repeatedly rape Max? What a good guy he is. Definitely a better guy than Flint.

Ninaly

Weirded me out when Marketa yelled Fuck Flint and that she was in Vayne's camp all the way when Vayne's rape tent was the worst thing I had seen that whole season, and something I still find tough to stomach. It's something that I thought would have really bothered Marketa too.

Yeah cuz cold blooded murder of your closest friend is so much better 🤣

The Air Nation

Season 2 is lit. The story opens up in so many different directions. Love the reactions. Dufrane did it at that moment because they could have just left and gotten away with no fight but also no gold since they passed as a Spanish ship. Also sadly the actor playing dufrane died before s2 so they replaced him with a different actor. Got me confused at first. Keep up the reactions.

Anonymous

Thanks for the 100 spoilers, can you guys just not do that anymore

I think Marketa's one of those people whose hate or love for a character easily blinds her

Griff

Will anyone actually call Vain, Vain, instead of Jodie...

Griff

All of these comments about people being annoyed they don't like Flint are ridiculous. You're all coming from a place of having the whole story, with all the information. The Normies don't have the same information we have. From the looks of it at this point Flint is not someone that deserves love from a viewer. Take a step back people.

Swordhunter

Underestimating Jack's punishment. Broke the bro code (even though it was not his idea) and everyone will know it.

STEAMY_DA_GOD

Hahaha, I love these reactions...it's so funny for someone who's seen the entire show, can't wait for S3 btw...R.I.P Gates 🙏
