My Hero Academia - 3x23 Deku vs Kacchan Part 2 - Group Reaction

Comments

Neal Cabanos

I paused the other episode to comment the following: YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOO!!!!!! Aight, be back in a few.

zaphyre

I can’t believe you made me look like a fool like that wow

MOB12

Thank you Normies!!! I was really wanting this cause I cant become a patreon right away next month but this guarantees that as soon as I can I'm back!! HYPE

Neal Cabanos

Let this be the episode where All Might symbolically trusts Bakugo to be an ideological successor. He told both Deku and Kacchan that they’re both half right and that if they work together, they could both be Symbols of Peace. Further evidenced by the US of Smash theme playing during their fight.

LitchiTea

Holy cow did not expect a double drop since you guys watched this episode only last week. And right before the holidays. We appreciate it.

Manu

what it do baybeee!!!

Jarryd Thompson

I just failed no nut November because of this

Arthur D. Gastino

Just wanna say, deku had to break through his limiter of 5% to 8% and still couldn’t beat bakugo. What a lot of ppl fail to realize that yeah deku can use more but he’ll destroy his body doing so, and bakugo has also said he can break his limits but it damages his arms. So bakugo and todoroki still the strongest.

Space Mechanic

Thanks for the double drop guys. This fight was emotional. Bakugo’s VA crushed it.

Karthig
>>29436921

So you are saying that bakugos limits are the same as midoriyas? Or rather to clarify his max power. Surely you must be joking

Hmz13

YOU GUYS ARE AWESOME, THANK YOU SOO MUCH

Isaac D Hernandez

Ahh was really looking forward to this reaction. Thanks for the double drop guys. Hope y’all have a great Thanksgiving

NMD

You guys did NOT just drop this!

George Byrd

Easily the best episode and fight in the show. Nothing comes close

Liam D

Thank you for the double drop guys!!!

Ted Cali

It’s a thanksgiving miracle!! This episode is fantastic and one of my favorites, but I’m honestly just excited to meet the Best Damned Character of the whole series next week.

Anonymous

holy fuck. the sub version of bakugo is so much better.

PrimeAmi

I’m not crying. Your crying 😢 lol

Sheraya san

Thank you for the double drop! happy thanksgiving normies!

Sheraya san

this is my favorite episode of MHA

Tejan J Salaam

is it just me or are they not best friends? i dont get why everybody says that.

Brandon Diaz

You gotta love Bakugo's perseverance

Deadpool

Look I might trigger some people but moments like this makes me believe Bakugo will be the number 1 hero

Anonymous

iight now that you guys finally saw this, this is when I Bakugou became my favorite If you look back to when All Might met his parents for the dorms, his mom is the one who told him that if he wasn't so weak, he wouldn't have caused so much trouble So that's what he lives with, and that's the kind of things his family says to him. To push through that how he does, he's the best.

Ryan Wojo

Hands down the best episode and the best fight in the show so far imo.

Garrett Gee
>>29442013

I see then as ash and Gary from pokemon they are rivals and that will build up each other over the show.

StlawHatRuffy

"That all ya got!?" My boy Midoriya talkin shit!

Corey Hughes

Bakugo's voice actor isn't bad in this, but he's also yelling almost the whole time which I find a bit annoying in comparison to the sub.

Anonymous

"hes only at 8% bra" bakugou is also a kid still developing his power like normal people. as deku gets stronger so will kacchan.

Jagger

To be honest...I had always gotten the Vegeta vibe from Bakugo, since the beginning. That jerk like, easily ticked visage when people became or seemed to become stronger than him...that being cuz HE perceived himself falling behind. This episode cemented that. I truly began to "love" Bakugo after this because the onion peeled away of how he truly felt. You suspected these things about him...but to see him share these emotions is quite frankly...oddly cathartic. Confirms to us why we appreciate his character and his development.

Sammy

this is such a naruto and sasuke relationship

Naomi Nantz

This episode is referenced a lot by fans by paraphrasing All Might's speech to the boys with "Win to Save, Save to Win" ie: Bakugo will Win a fight and thus Save people, and Midoriya will Save people and thus Win the fight. Together they'll be the best heroes they can be. This is called back in the trailer for the upcoming MHA movie: Heroes Rising, you should really check it out! https://youtu.be/eozJV0mUq6s

Undisputed

Hands down my favorite episode of the series thus far.

Varun Narayanswamy

This is the beginning of Bakugo's real character development. I'm hyped

Ashlee

So glad we got a double drop today!! I was really looking forward to this episode's reaction! Thank you soooo much :D

Zeke
>>29453360

No it's not. Why do you ppl like to confuse character turning points with their starting lines and ignore what's come before. S3 Bakugo before this fight is a different person from Bakugo of S1. Like, there is a significant difference but you would rather ignore that smh

Zeke
>>29451732

You got it mixed up. Also, don't trust those trailer subs. Bakugo's is "Save to Win" since winning is still ultimately his goal while Midoriya's is "Win to Save" because he's still about Saving. Save to Win: Saving can count towards a victory Win to Save: Overcoming opponents without crushing yourself thus retaining the ability to save someone else.

Anonamai

Hoooooe mhy ghodd! Before I even watch bruh so excited to see this reaction.

DanielleM

Suraj - "Cough, cough Naruto." Lol! Love it!

Will Cee

1. Bakugo vs Midoriya 2. All might vs All for one 3. Deku vs muscular (those are my favorite episodes)

The Ultimate Ed

I will admit... as someone that normally watches the dub... the sub of this episode is just slightly better.

jbcreate

sub bakugo crying scene is crazy emotional, even if i turn the subtitles off

Son Deku

Ok..I’m not clear on this part that Suraj mentioned at the start of the video - ‘They are on Season 4 now’..Is that Patreon or YouTube, if YouTube, then how does one access those videos?

august
>>29469613

I just he meant for the YT viewers because once they release this on YT, they will be on Season 4 already here on Patreon.

Thanks so much for the double drop guys! this was awesome and your reactions were so satisfying. thanks!

mghool4ever

Mashallah alhumidllah inshallah better Mashallah tbark allah

John

I'm glad you guys are finally learning that the asshole characters also have feelings. Ffs it took all these animes to this point for you to finally get this thanks for pointing this out Chris.

John

Deku was using 5 to 8 percent also the number 1 hero doesn't mean the strongest and I believe the I'm going to be the number 1 hero thing was non canon

John

MHA has a spin off manga called Vigilante its a spin off with the older characters when they were younger just little fyi

InnerCityIndigo

This show made Bakugo's family dynamic seem funny but it's actually pretty toxic. Bakugo's mom reinforced the notion that Bakugo was kidnapped because he was too weak, which in turn, made it more difficult for Bakugo to reconcile what happened to All Might, and made it impossible for him to open up to his parents about how he felt, hence why he had to take it out on someone else.

frank

The Japanese voice actor was even better. Yeah they did good, but the Non-Dub was still better.

Anonymous

They’ll never understand how much more emotional bakugo sounded in the sub version

4mation

Love all these people commenting on how much better the Japanese voice actors are without even a basic grasp of Japanese. You stupid fucks

Fox-Man the Wise

Not going to lie, even after watching this episode, I still hate Kaa-chan. Doesn't matter how much he developed, the guy literally bullied Deku throughout their entire childhood. It's easy to like him if you ignore all of that, which seems to be the case for most people

Anonymous
>>29691200

You dont have to understand the language when someones expressing emotions what are you on about?

Brandon Domer
>>29657463

I've heard both versions, but still think dub is better. Just my opinion, but the VA is good enough that hearing it in English resonates with me more.

David
>>29700213

You have a shallow mindset when it comes to judging characters than.

Quinton Teratino

You idiot, go watch season 1 episode 8 again and this time pay attention! Mainly near the end where deku told bakugo his secret. I was just like you thinking the same thing, that bakugo was just a bully in the show nothing more. But after hearing what bakugo said to deku after he lost for the first time from the 'weakling' he thought deku was, I knew that bakugo was not just an ass. I honestly thought bakugo was going to whine and bitch after taking his first lose to deku and that would be the end of his progression. But when Bakugo said to deku that he is just getting started and when all might rushed towards bakugo to comfort and encourage him, bakugo pushed it away and said that he is over it. It showed that bakugo has potential and was not just a bully. He had the mentality of someone strong who doesnt linger on his mistakes or his problems. He gets up and works harder. That's just how bakugo is, it's a very obvious flaw but he has characteristics of what a winner is. it's funny how people still hate on bakugo just because of his first appearance as a bully lol it shows how simple mind most people are.

Unstablebeast
>>29558024

Yes deku was using 5 to 8%, but also keep in mind that dekus quirk is already at its max strength its just deku needs to learn to use 100%, meanwhile bakugos quirk can still grow stronger
