Seven Deadly Sins - Subs to Dubs

Comments

Drifts

THANK GOD!! Honestly I prefer the dub so much more!! I thought this was going to be news about you guys quitting the show so honestly this is a lot better than that!! Love the show and glad you guys are switching to my preferred way of watching :D

Freddupe

I personally enjoyed the sub more but do what gives you guys the best experience. No complaints from me!

Zee

I actually tried doing it the way you guys did it and I was less into it. The dub is just more convenient for certain people. All good by me Normies 💪🏾

Marcb92

No problem, you guys are awesome! We come here for you all, not the subtitles! Also, Nahid is gonna lose his mind in the next few episodes of Naruto!

Trig

Even though I prefer the sub, I support the change all the way. The dub seems to be a better experience for yall and thats most important. We all want to have fun together. Also, after hearing 7DS dub again, its definitely not bad at all.

BrokeHighMan

Dubs for me are just an easier way to watch a reaction. Love both versions but yeah.

Mohamed Aimal

Subs are way better for me, but if dub is better for you guys then its fine, I'd rather u enjoy the show, if dub is better than im fine with it, not a problem at all. 😊

Anonymous

i watch both so all good by me keep on reacting

EpicPillar1

Will you guys still be watching demon slayer sub in January?

AnEnthusiasticKoala

Well all I'm hoping for is that they continue with season 2

Aeoyn

i freaking knew it, there was no way they would stick with subs, ffs

Deadpool

I watched this scared they were quitting the show

L

Whatever you guys want to do it is fine! I noticed a lot of information was slipping through you guys which really isn't good when you are trying to follow a story and in a way it is sort of frustrating whenever something is being told so clear and yet it slips past you guys while watching. So I'm glad you guys are making this choice and hopefully you understand things a little better!

Everton

I feel like poeple shouldnt hate when a reactor does Dubs. Its hard to read subtitles and watch whats going on at the same time for games too. And alot of Reactors get hate for missing stuff as if everyone is just good at doing both at the same time. Glad you guys are comfortable

L
>>29445163

I wouldn't be surprised if they did..... Blind wave is reacting to demon slayer in the dubs since they strictly do dubs which is unfortunate.... I wouldn't say it is an awful dub but whenever I watch their reactions it definitely isn't a great dub or anything like MHA dub for example. I hope they stick to sub and try to react at times where they don't have a problem with reading subs and keeping up with the info. but I don't have my hopes up

Denickart

Dubs definite easier since you don't show the video all the way through

Bucky

Damn man, sub is super way better than dub, i was enjoying the fuck out of the reactions in sub, its a shame but i guess theres nothing we can do about it :( . I'll keep waiting on reactions tho, just not as excited :D .

Rasmus Kjær Poulsen

Subs: Easier to know what is said during you either laughing or talking Dubs: Can hear what they are saying in the anime when the screen cuts off. Either way is good for me

Di

I've seen it both subbed and dubbed so i dont really care

Matthew Dinnall

I don’t really care as long as you keep putting out this reactions I have no problem

Anonymous

Sub or Dub I could care less. I'm here for the reactions. I've already seen the show. It's only going to get better story wise.

scottrager

Thanks for letting us know ahead of time. I appreciate the message

Cory Hawks

Never been a sub or dub snob. I usually watch both.

Research907

I think this is for the best especially with Gowther in the mix his lack of emotional connection his trouble with forming normal emotional ties his very bloodless trolly cart kind of morality comes off better in the dub at least for me.

Nick

Disappointing...but I dont care anymore lol

Jevan

No worries fam do what ever is best, easiest and most enjoyable for you guys 💙

Steven Chamale

I am a sub or dub snob lol, but I get it, I mean at this point most reactors do dubs so people have to adapt. I personally have been watching anime subbed since I was a kid so that's how I will watch, I do sometimes go back and watch dubs to compare but the point is let people enjoy watching a show how they want.

Karthig

I am disappointed because I always like subs better but if it's easier on you guys do what's best for you.

The Pebble

Subs better ofc but just pick one and stick with it, I hate that Blind Wave listens to Dub but you get used to it, switching around just keeps reminding me how bad dubs can be lol. CAN be, there are some good ones.

Eric Seitz

Thank u. I personally prefer the dubs just cause like u guys said it’s easier to catch everything they are say and as a manga reader I don’t need to reread it when watching subs

Alex cleveland

Tbh in my opinion, sub is a difference in reactions for me especially this show. MHA and Naruto is a good dub so im real cool with those. Now shows like 7DS and HxH is not good in dub at all in my personal opinion. Idk if I'll enjoy the reactions as much now but y'all the ones who is in charge and if it works for u then nothing really matters in the end.

Spookie Dookie

Exactly dubs make the most sense for reactions. You can’t read full on sentences in Sub and react with other people at the same time. So good move 😎

Duvorious R. Ingram

You guys should have been doing this from the start, the Seven Deadly Sins dub is highly regarded and so is Hunter X Hunter,(Bad dubs are a thing of the past) also if you do decide to do One Piece, it has the same dub cast as DragonBall super and My Hero Academia

Solatic Syot

The only thing I'd say is that if you guys are going to continue to react to anime beyond MHA and Naruto, you're going to have to get used to subs at some point. It can take some time for some people, and this probably isn't the best show to adjust to it with. However, I'd highly suggest it at some point, at the very least, most anime dubs are pretty bad, and even the best dubs usually aren't that great.

DAINTHEMANE

I watch both depending on how I feel. If I'm watching something serious and in-depth, I prefer Subs, not for the emotional, cool sounding, Japanese words. I find it easier to pick up a certain plotlines to when I have to read them. But if it's just shonen who cares. Everyone usually comes for the action, stays for the story, and then when the story starts to suck, stays because fuck it you got this far. I'm looking at you Naruto.

Trig

Best dubs from what i hear: YYH FMAB Cowboy Bebop Naruto Dragonball Samurai Champloo Kill la Kill Gurren Lagann MHA Baccano Bleach Ghibli Movies Trigun Hellsing These dubs are some of the best and what Ive seen the internet consider the best and definitely comparable to their sub counterpart. E.g. Cowboy Bebop dub > sub

Azorc

Nooooo. That makes me a little bit sad and mad but if you are going to keep watching Demon Slayer in sub everything is ok

Chris V

I have to say I'm a bit dissapointed since I think 80% of the time the subs is better than the dub but since it's only for SDS it isn't the end of the world for me. I would still appreciate if you could leave the subs on on the reaction portion of the show as it can be difficult to hear what it is being said and follow along with you guys while you're commenting on something that just happened. Much appreciated.

Anonymous

Nah, it’s no big deal :D

Mike Drop

Fine, but if you ever get to One Piece. Don't you dare watch that in dubs.

Shockzz1234
>>29451465

If they ever watch OP and choose the dubs i'm gonna flip and i don't even care about dub vs sub. And it's not even because the dub of OP is bad, it's actually all right, but the Japanese voices of OP are iconic and bring so much life to the series that watching it dubbed is almost an insult. Same with Jojo.

fitcessx

i just joined for hxh if u do this for hxh imma scream >.<

Scar

Just react to demon slayer and everything will be forgiven

StlawHatRuffy

Thats too bad but cuz 7DS dub be trashy but if it help yall understand more it is what it is👌

Noah barkley

why is this a big deal? it feels like people are just watching subs to be hip i'd understand if most of your viewers spoke Japanese but it doesn't make sense to watch shows in subs when everyone watching speaks English and the show literally took the time to make an english version just for English speakers lol

SoraTheSecond

Thank god I thought you guys were finished with the show! We completely understand your decision, this is one of the few anime’s where the dub and sub are really well done.

Davon Thomas

People fail to realize reactors should always watch the Dub version especially if it's a large group cause it's easier to get lost in a scene if they are watching the subs but decide to start talking to each other and miss dialog.

Zee

Weird this post got more likes and comments then either of the actual reactions

Davon Thomas
>>29454609

Honestly most people like the subs because they like the way japanese people sound over english voices since its its something they deal with daily. And they are more judgemental hearing the voices in english because how do you know what bad Japanese voice acting is if you don't understand what they are saying without the subs lol. It always sounds good when you don't know the language to judge it.

KBM

this anime sucks subbed or dubbed, do what feels right ;)

Norrin Radd

the only anime that MUST be viewed subbed is HxH. Anything else you can do what you like. Many are better dubbed tbh. the voice acting for this anime is pretty good.

Daniel Gonzalez

I'm glad you guys figured out what works out best for you and at least you're still watching and enjoying the show but for me i prefer to watch reactions of this show in sub so good on you guys and ladies with the heads up

Anonymous

Honestly don’t care as long as you all still watch the show. Things get real good in season two. Keep up the good work. 👍

Wizonce70

Damn really wished I could watch the reactions but this show dubbed is unwatchable for me I respect the choice whatever is better 4 you guys

Malin Stigeberg

With the title I thought they would drop the series. At least watch up to the third season.

hobopwnr
>>29459447

agreed, watch in the most enjoyable way you can, and the show will certainly satisfy.

Trig
>>29452005

They wont do it for HxH. They are too far in. They also love their sub voices. Rana probably cant let go of Killua's voice anymore haha

qqwik

this sucks. will probably stop watching reactions except for few specific episodes. sorry you cant watch subs

Zaros

laaaame....i cant do dubs..sorry.

HIM

As an aspiring voice actor, myself, I appreciate the appreciation for this and all other dubs! (except naruto. Not the show, just the character. Worst. Ever. Lol)

Anonymous

What are ya all talking bout ENGLISH DUBB IS lowkey better no need to apologise!

Sonia Sanches

do what you want. But i wont watch it in dub i just cant stand meliodas voice actor in English it sounds so annoying. I guess since i have been watching anime for years reading the sub is natural and i dont have a problem keeping up and reacting to the show.

Grey

No more sate sate sate :(

JT

To me Meliodas sounds like sonic the hedgehog in dub 😂😂

Abdikadir

Thank god I thought they were about to quit

Luke

u do u guys im still gonna watch regardless

Luke
>>29467024

ps fck all yall willing to drop this series cos of subs/dubs lmao

Hank yang

Maybe quit this show and start watch demon slayer (just kidding

Queef Burglar

I was hoping they quit the show and start demon slayer

Kamina 1

FINALLY. I can watch your Seven Deadly Sins reactions again. Smart choice normies. I support you all the way.

Kingjasco

I guess it’s time for me to make my exit

kasper

wish they could have switched to dub after this season was over and not 17 episodes in.....oh well. just one less reaction to watch i guess. hope you guys enjoy the show though.

Lane Thomas

I know a lot of people are upset, but I LOVE the dub. A LOT. It's great, and I definitely agree that Ban is better. I'm also a huge fan of Helbram's English VA. And IMHO Diane in Japanese sounds really...Japanesey Kawaii Cutesy, and I prefer the way she sounds in English. It's not more or less cute, it's just a more American style of cute.

HybridThizzle
>>29445895

You can have both advantages though english dub has subtitles anyway. In fact the subtitles they've been watching the whole time have been the dubs subtitle track lol.

subliminal

The arguments made for switching to the dub seem really shallow. Not grasping the information? So you can't read fast enough. I've already unsubscribed because of this exakt reason so I'll probably just sound like a bitter asshole to other patrons here, but I honestly feel like the Normies was simply predisposed to prefer dub, Nahid especially, and never really seemed like they wanted to watch subbed anime (hell that's simply something that Chris(?) refuses to do). To me it seems like the Normies rarely watch subbed anime, yet they have a general preference. To me that's really strange. Anyway, if Micky ever decides to make some solo reactions of subbed anime (which apparently only he likes) I'd support that.

Anonymous

My main language is danish, but I grew up watching anime in german. So that's how I watch it. Not in english or japanese but in guten heute leute. I get why you would want to watch the show in the language that appeals to you. Whatever floats your boat. If anyone gives you shit about who decided that, just tell them to fuck off and that you guys are the one to decide ;)

Jonathan

i like dubs anyway lol

Jaquan Lacy

Whatever you do just pls don't drop the show, all these dub v sub ppl can shove it, I like your reactions a lot so pls no matter how many ppl say they'll drop it pls keep reacting to this

TimePatrolSavior
>>29497072

absolutely thats what i was afraid of that it was being dropped but whatever dub is a given for reactions alot but yeah JUST KEEP GOING

Anonymous

I watch you guys basically for your reaction and conversations about the shows. No matter what you guys choose I will support you guys all the way.

TimePatrolSavior
>>29468980

They already started doing Demon Slayer and they doing english dub so don't expect them to have a whole bunch. Seven Deadly Sins is staying sorry to tell you.

TimePatrolSavior
>>29444269

The dub can come off corney or when people like Elizabeth is trying to say things like shes crying it just sometimes comes like someone pretending but yeah whatever floats your boat everyone is different.

TimePatrolSavior
>>29455485

Yeah whatever bro tell that to everyone else in here , why are you even here in the first place but to be a troll.

TimePatrolSavior

Fair Enough great video lmao Mikey's face at the beginning lol I am with you man but yeah its a given for reactions and half awake people.

vivek srivastav

Though I personally want you all to watch in subs but I can understand your point of view. If you aren't able to get full info from the subs then how can you react properly. Just go with the dubs and do continue to season 2. I am wwith you all.

Kayla

I really dont understand why people are so upset about it. This is YOUR CHANNEL you cant please everyone and if youre not completely enjoying yourself or struggling to keep up then you have every right to do whats necessary. Screw these guys trying to make yall feel bad for switching, your REAL fans will stay and understand, all we want is for you to enjoy the show! ❤❤

JT

If you can't understand what's going on in this show then you might as well change attack on titan and hunter x hunter to dub aswell and any other new anime you start watching in the future just to stay true to your supporters and understand the shows better.

Anonymous
>>29482964

Its their channel honestly what you feel could matter less 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Aadit Doshi
>>29552818

that's a pretty drastic generalization. Not all subs can be as confusing.

Mervin45

y'all need to chill atleast their still watching it

Mervin45

didnt think it would be this big a deal

Mervin45

if y'all do demon in the future please do subs tho the dub is really bad

Agni Kai

shouldve just stuck with dub from the start, the only one who had a problem with the dub was mickey... i like the dub a bit more than sub but its gonna be annoying waiting for it to be dubbed if and when they catch up

Anonymous

Thank you so much and please stick with it this time 😃😃😃

Kekoa

Smart choice

Kekoa

I personally think the dub was better as well
