Here's praying for a double drop lol. I can't wait for next week!!

Chelsea

uh oh... Chris mentioned gushers again...

Tyler

They don’t seem to double drop any midseason episodes anymore. Which is disappointing

Albert Cheu

LMAO when Marketa remembers Vijay but the writers did not

n p

So did you guys think Deke was 70 years old? Or that Fitz & Simmons had him when they were in their 70s?

Anonymous

deke literally said "after you grandpa"

aSackOfReactions

im still not sure how they think they are his parents and not his grandparents

ElBilbo

AFTER YOU GRANDPA

Deadpool

“Yeah after you GRANDPA” that word doesn’t say anything to you

Macy

You guys not being able to figure out that Deke is Fitzsimmons grandson is just stupid omg, especially with the line "after you grandpa" and since when did Jemma have an American accent?

Macy

Sorry but this reaction pissed me off

Bethany

deke: after you grandpa // deke's mum with an american accent: my mother used to say it to me // y'all: he's their son and that was grown up jemma-- guys... pls IUHDFD

Jo

Yeah... one of the editors might want to tell them that Deke is their grandson, not their son... If they still couldn't figure it out at this point, they need some help... lol

Guthwulf

Oh man... did you stop paying any attention? FITZ AND SIMMONS ARE NOT DEKES PARENTS! That would not make any sense. How is it possible that you still don't get, that Fitz and Simmons are Dekes grandparents? They tell you that over and over, very clearly. During the wedding, Deke said, that the wedding ring he bought looked just "like a ring my mom had from my grandma". His mom said in this episode clearly and very loudly: "It is just a phrase my MOM used to say". The mom of your mom is your grandma. And Deke said "granddad". *triple facepalm* Fitz and Simmons will have a daughter, which will marry and get a son called Deke. Deke will never meet his grandparents so he can't recognize them. He only knows them from stories told by his mother. Oh and the "young man" was not Maliks son. It is the oldest son of Baron Wolfgang von Strucker (seen in Avengers: Ultron).

Joe

Hahaha come on guys. Deke's their grandson. How have you all messed this up?

Diego R.

Wow, your Family Tree skills sure suck major balls :D

Ok last episode I was having a laugh at your misunderstanding but now? it's not that funny anymore. He literally said "after you grandpa", his mom has an american accent and is OBVIOUSLY not Jemma, he's like in his 30s in 2090, so he was born in 2060, fitzsimmons are now in their 30s in 2018. Did you even make the math? how could he be their grandson? I'm really sorry I don't mean to be rude but it's just so frustrating. I was so sure at least one of you would question him being their son after this episode

Guthwulf

And his mom said: "just a phrase my mom used to say". And during the wedding Deke said about the ring "looks just like a ring my mom had from my grandma". It couldn't be more clearly stated.

BrokeHighMan

I find it funny and frustrating too but once Gemma actually says the line in an upcoming episode they are gonna have a good laugh I imagine!

Guthwulf
>>30164070

why? they managed to ignore all lines so far, which clearly state them as grandparents. If they didn't get it this episode, I'm not sure they will ever get it :D

Jo
>>30163910

Can't wait for the next reaction, where they'll be snarky about it and the community, instead of admitting that this was stupid as hell.

Guthwulf
>>30163640

it is a mystery... I watched so many aos reactions. Every single one got it right away at the wedding. There was never any doubt...

Teddy S

Oh wow this is reaching almost satirical levels of ignorance even for the normies. So many obvious pointouts missed and of course the golden line "So is that supposed to be Jemma grown up?" and everyone actually agreed even though haircolor, face, accent and height was obviously different. Jokes on me for actually being like "thank you!" when they corrected who the Strucker kid was - until they corrected it somehow to Gideon's imaginary son. Baby steps I guess haha now I just want to see how long this will continue.

Christopher McBride

I like your reactions, but like everyone else is saying, you're not paying attention very well in the past two episodes. You guys react so loud at certain moments that you miss information and then get something wrong. It was hinted in the previous episode that Deke is their grandson. It was confirmed at least three times in this episode.

Tyler

Yeah you guys have had your moments with this series but this just trumps it all. Did the episode need to spell it out in big bright bold letters for 40 minutes? Not that that would make it any more obvious than it already is.

Justin Jefferson

They are legit the first ppl i have ever seen not be able to put it together i refuse to believe they dont get that they are his grandparents they have to be trolling lol. Also my god when this makes it to youtube they are going to get destroyed.

Guthwulf
>>30164492

only "hinted"? Deke flat out says, that the ring he bought for them for the wedding "looks just like a ring my mom had from my grandma" right before the reveal, that Deke is related to them both. :D The show is sometimes subtle for the sake of surprise and speculation, but not here. Oh and agree, they pay way less attention than in the past. Maybe to many shows on the shedule?

Christopher simeon

calm down commenters they will get it eventually lol. Hopefully..... Anyway if you guys noticed when deke asked what the ocean was like FitzSimmons got very specific because they have been down at the bottom of the ocean in season 1. Another callback

Anonymous

Ok, so I'll be original and ignore the Deke thing, but Werner von Strucker is Baron Von Strucker's son, not Malek's)))

TB

Y’all are really bad at math. But so excited for next episode. I’m taking bets who on the couch is going to be the most devastated after next episode?

Kai

Robin, a 10 year old girl is like in her 90s in the future, and you guys think Deke, in his mid 20s/early 30s is the child of someone like 20 years older than Robin? FFS

Anthony Wickizer

I guess people are upset about the reaction for some reason. But I love it. I find it hilarious. Them thinking Deke is Fitzsimmons kid, really changes nothing but the timeline. The connection is still there, as well as any story implications. How can anyone be upset? Every time they mentioned it, I just started laughing. It’s so hilarious. Love the Normies. Hahaha

Undisputed

I don't know how NONE of them caught on the the grandparents thing yet. This is ridiculous. Deke even called him grandpa this episode. But whatever. They'll get it 100% next episode. If they somehow don't, I'm jumping off the roof.

Andreas Froby

You guys really have to be trolling us right?

Ashgar77

You guys can take the stand on the Deke thing. I'm more annoyed that Werner Von Strucker is mistaken to be Gideon Malick's son.

Frank Tremel

Deke is FitzSimmons grandson! That was FitzSimmons' daughter!

Tone

We're one week away!!!

TibrisG

The funniest thing to me is seeing how nitpick-y they were in season 1 and yet they seem to fully except that the woman they think is older Simmons doesn't even have an English accent.

Karl Miller

Deke knew his Parents. He can't be their Son. Please pay attention?

Jason Bronson

He's their grandson, not their son. You need to pay attention, he said after you grandpa to Fitz.

KuzonFire121

Funny thing is, in spite of all this roasting from the comments, the Normies actually figured out the FitzSimmons legacy correctly in the reaction to 5x8.

Griff

Painful simply painful to listen to them right now

Lefty1275

The fact that they are so wrong and literally fabricated these false truths about characters is absolutely hilarious. But for me the kicker is that they are saying it with such confidence. I cant stop laughing, next week will be interesting.............

Linsey Morris

me after the last episode: ok they screamed over the "the ring looked like one my mother used to wear THAT SHE GOT FROM HER MOM" line they'll definitely put it together in the next episode next episode deke to a woman that is NOT simmons: MOM fitzsimmons daughter: my mother used to say it to me pat: deke put it together JUST LIKE HIS DADDY me: wait........they still............what?? them: it's jemma grown up me: but....she is grown up??? SHE IS OLDER THAN DEKE'S MOM?? WHAT IS HAPPENING?? deke: after you grandpa them: me: them: me: NOTHING??? oh man if it doesn't click next episode i'll really be concerned lmao AND MACK HAMMER CAN'T TOUCH THIS REMAINS TO THIS DAY COULSON'S BEST DAD JOKE I CRY LAUGHING EVERY TIME I THINK ABOUT IT

Dani S

Grandson! My god it's their grandson! 😂 come on guys!
