Normies: triple drop Naruto 131-133* *Everyone liked that*

Anonymous

(About to watch ep 133)Joker: And here... we... go

Omar

I really think you guys need to react to at least 2 episodes per week, otherwise you'll take 8+ years to finish the series....oh wait wrong Patreon! Keep it up, and thank you so much!

Anonymous

You’d have to watch episode 220 that’s the final episode

SeymourAsces

I don’t think Sasuke was grooming Naruto for killing later. Sasuke was probably going to try to get strong the old fashioned way, but when He got clapped by Itachi he realized the power gap was just way too big. So, he turned to whatever power he could acquire regardless of its source.

Alex cleveland

WOWOWOoWowooO triple drop my balls dropped.😮

Omar
>>30901404

Apparently they know and an edited video of ep 220 they will watch.

Andrew Goncalves

Its not that all dub voice acting is bad I LOVE DBZ and a few others but its just that its such a larger market in Japan and there are probably just way more people over there and that is their craft and has been for a long time. I just think it comes down to experience especially in anime which are for the most part completely different from western cartoons/animation.

PrimeAmi

Let’s go triple drop I’m leaving work early and heading home lol

L

Hell yea! Triple drop FTW!

Alex cleveland
>>30901415

ohhh ep 131 is goneee. Lol I just read the description of 131 but its ok still love y'all 👍🏽

DAki

When you remember why Sasuke is the way he is. God damn the feels. Then you watch the fight with Naruto crying and that emotional flashback in 132. Fuck me, both Naruto and Sasuke making me cry T_T

Hank yang

2 episodes left my friend

M

I thought the podcast one was gonna be disappointing but it was great I didn’t mind it at all

Richard McClure

Nahid that was some funny shit at the end there lmao

Denickart

if you were reading the manga you'd get Kakashi's backstory right after Naruto vs Sasuke. But in the anime you'll get it at some random point in Shippuden.

Frank Raddi

Awesome thank you. These episodes are amazing

Rcl

Normies you guys have been watching the show forever did you forget people in Narutos age group don’t know he has the demon in him?

Anonymous

A surprise to be sure but a welcome one

Jo

Whining about flashbacks every episodes is getting really old. The whole series is like that, even shippuden. You can stop whining now. It's not getting any better.

STEAMY_DA_GOD

Yo, Christmas came early for us..or did it come late. Hmm 🤔

Sherman

Another "mistake" this week! Not wrong links but more episodes!

Kevin Hansson

Rana crying had me cry. Awesome reaction

Anonymous

Thanks guys, love to you and yours!

Anonymous

He really just SAID FLCL... YASSS

hesa

guys shippuden is full of crazy shit can't wait till you reach there!

Anonymous

Along with goku vs frieza this is One of the most iconics and best anime fights of all time. In choreography, thematically, in build up. If people had to choose an anime fight to represent the 2000s they’ll choose this fight that’s how important it is. The rasengan vs chidori, the “Naruto!!! Sasuke!!! “ yell. This shit marked an era

Gin

Literally the peak of Naruto imo

Jason Rodriguez

This animation reminds me of a few fights in Shippuden I can't wait for

Anonymous

Wait how is there 10 episodes left? At most there should be 3 right - 134, 135 and the finale?

Anonymous

It’s called 2 brothers. It’s 2 brothers and 1 has weird eyes and tattoos. The other has a fox inside his body. Then, all of a sudden, BAM talking dogs and frogs. It’s called 2 brothers

Matthew Beltran

Has it been confirmed if they were planning on watching naruto shippuden

Di

Lol not that important but you guys keep saying he massacred the village. He massacred his clan not the village, the clan is within the Leaf Village. You obviously know this but, phrasing.

Gavin

If your stopping naruto for a month boost HXH to two a week

Anonymous

Lol Sasuke didn’t have this master plan to kill naruto . He didn’t even knew the leaf was going to rescue him

DAki

Holy shit, I genuinely dont even remember this Naruto vs Sasuke fight being that bloody good. Lool i was even shook when Naruto's neck broke lol probably censored when i watch this on TV back then. Also im pretty sure its the same studio, they just budget and plan wisely. I think its fillers that are sometimes outsourced to other studios but Studio Pierrot still majority of Naruto animations. Correct me of im wrong ppl.

Anonymous

Same studio my guys. Doesn't matter the length of the season, you're allotted the same budget. Pierrot budgets appropriately, saving the high quality animation sequences for major story beats

M

Wow Naruto really ends next week. That’s crazy bro 2 more episodes

klah

man naruto's inner thoughts during 132 always get me. rana was probably the closest to how I probably looked when I first watched that episode

Valkyro

Shame about the 131 footage, but at least we have the audio and that episode isn't too eventful so I'm glad it happened on THAT one rather that a more important episode. Thanks for the triple drop lads

DAki
>>30902513

i dont think its exactly 10 (they just estimating) but its definitely not just 134, 135 and 220 left. there are some episodes that are canon mix with filler. Like some of the sakura stuff but ppl just tend to forget that and write it off as filler since its in the middle of the big chunk of filler episodes.

Denickart

This was done by the same studio. When it comes to long anime that don't take breaks in between seasons like Naruto or Dragon Ball studios have their most experienced animators work on the most important episodes while their younger animators work on the rest

DAki
>>30902742

do you even listen ? They said it first few episodes of watching Naruto that they plan to do Shippuden and mentioned again theses episodes 132 and 133. At least watch the full video instead of skipping and you will know they are taking a month break before starting Shippuden.

Matt

I'm always so torn when i watch reactors reach the end of Naruto and are about to move to Shippuuden. I love Shippuuden, but I remember when I first watched it back in the day, the pacing threw me off. Granted, I had like months upon months to wait for it to come out, and was in Naruto filler hell, and when it came out it was just so slow. But Normies all I will say, is if you feel that way even in the slightest when you start Shippuuden, have no fear, as it delivers AMAZINGLY after the first couple arcs. No Spoilers, just wanted to help set expectations a bit with my point of view.

Solebat

Naruto Dub is considered one of the best. Sub is great as well.

DAki

NOT A SINGLE STILL FRAME, YASSS

Tim Ott

As for the reshowing. People gotta realize this was years later. One episode a week for over 2 years by this point. People hadn't seen it in a while, they are driving home just how horrible it was.

Di

Sasuke doesn't know that Naruto has the nine tailed fox sealed inside of him. Only the adults that were around during the attack 12-13 years prior know. He also never seen the red chakra because he was knocked out during the Haku and Gaara fight, and arrived after Naruto beat Neji in the chunin exams.

DSP

is 133 the last episode theyre watching for Naruto before Shippuden?

Liam D

Thank you Normies!! Great reaction!

Di
>>30904575

Canon episodes are up to 135. And part of 220 leads up to Shippuden I guess

Loic Reviews

Thank you guys and thanks Hunter!!!

Solebat
>>30903203

It’s a great fight but I watched other parts of Naruto more.

Anonymous

it is so hard not to spoiler ......

Alex cleveland

Yo watching this shit is crazy asf. It'll be pretty damn rare to find another anime that haves better fights than the Naruto series. Cause no anime thats currently out has better fight scenes than Naruto and thats FAXS.🤷🏽‍♂️🔥

Anonymous

I'm glad you guys are taking a break before Shippuden, it's important to not get burnt out. :) And I'm also excited that you guys are watching FLCL :D

Mr. Big Stuff

Normies reactions for life love you guys

JediMasterSamson
>>30905157

Same. I also think it’s good with how Part 1 ends. It’ll make their return to the show a bit more meaningful to them :)

Acoleyte

i always find the contrast between the 9 tails' voice in the sub and the dub interesting. In the dub he sounds like a savage beast taking advantage of a kid, but in the sub he sounds like a god speaking down to a mortal.

Lila A

Sasuke nearly died for Naruto in the first arc and the Gaara arc. That would’ve been counterproductive if he always planned to kill him. He wasn’t grooming him for killing, a friendship spontaneously happened. It would not have happened with Sakura.

Chaos T
>>30904095

I agree with what you said here. It's slow at times but the payoff is really big. That said, even when it drags on such as the first arc, there does seem to be more fighting. There's just long ass fights in this series and I guess that's too be expected given they're fighting the best of the best at this point.

Anonymous

Come on, guys, he did not become Naruto's friend in order to kill him later. Reminder, he was ready to give up on his goal and sacrifice himself for Naruto several times, like in a fight against Haku. He just genuinely thought he could have a "normal life": become stronger while protecting his friends. That was until Itachi came back and fucked him up again, saying "You lack hatred". He was even ready to just go to Orochimaru without any Mangekyo Sharingans if Naruto did not decide to chase after him. He likes Naruto.

Anonymous

Just a thought, I also watched Naruto dubbed. but when you switch to Shipudden try out the subs, they are really great! :)

Saad Siddiqui

i don't think there are 12-13 episodes left, after episode 135 all the episodes are filler you can watch episode 220 it's a mixed manga/filler episode.

Brandon Diaz

That moment when naruto just screams through sasuke's fireball justu

Dude it’s been a little more then 10 years since I first watched Naruto and that shit has me tearing every fucking time. Great reactions guys

No worries on the technical difficulties, it happens to everyone. I for one tend to watch your reactions while doing other things and will glance over every few minutes so it doesn't hamper me too much. Thanks for the triple drop!

Mercury

Blindwave take notes

MoxiePoxy

Yesss thank you Normies!!

Jjop017

Thanks for the triple drop Normies. I didn’t expect it at all and was just hyped to see your reaction to Naruto unleashing the Fox. I don’t agree with Sasuke has been grooming a friendship to kill someone to gain Mangekyou Sharingan mostly because if he always intended to do that then he has been sucking at doing it. He is understandably very anti-social. It really works against the idea that he had been planning this from the start since he has been keeping everyone at bay for years. It would be easier for Sasuke who has a ton of admires to play himself up as the super cool and likable guy everyone would want to be friends with if he was planning this from the start. No offense to Sasuke fans, but he really hasn’t shown to think that far ahead on anything for me to think he has been this master schemer planning this all along.

Chris D. Jones

Hope y’all see this. One thing you have to understand about the story of Naruto this was a weekly show that took breaks in between seasons. I’m mainly talking about the dub version the subs had it slightly better. The constant and repetitive flashbacks were kinda necessary. When we first saw the massacre flashback that was episode 80 something so it would have been a minimum of 50ish weeks in between those flashbacks. That’s almost a year. Not factoring in English cast having to dub the episode, holiday breaks, and any other reason the show took a break. So you see why the flashbacks like this are necessary most people aren’t going to remember after a year without a refresher. At least that’s what the producers thought remember anime wasn’t as big back then as today. It also allowed them to pad time and stretch episodes.

George Byrd

Damn the Lab Rats Principal was really going all out with that Naruto Voice acting. Crazy to think that’s the same person

Ja

Is YouTube links coming?

Spookie Dookie

Rana’s tears, I remember the first time I watched too it was like that haha

JC

It’s been so long I forgot that almost the entire episode was a sakuga fest.

They keep saying they have 12 episodes left or something like that, but really it’s only 2 left. They said in a recent previous reaction video that they’re skipping fillers. God, I hope they do skip it. Even I, who read the the whole manga, never saw or had interest in seeing the end-of-series fillers. Lets get to shippuden as soon as possible! It’d be so annoying if we waste 2 months on bs fillers. I might have to unsubscribe until shippuden comes out then subscribe back, since I pay $10 a month to only watch naruto and mha reactions.

Izaya

Is the uncut coming today?

Nathan Evans

I can't wait for y'all to get to Shippuuden. I can just see Chris doing the Charlie meme from It's Always Sunny, and end up being right like 80% of the time.

Anonymous

I love how they made the technical difficulties a podcast episode :D

Sachal Ali

This is what I've been waiting for ever since I saw how invested they were in the Naruto Sasuke friendship way back when. Watching them get hopeful that maybe Talk No Jutsu will save the day yet again, then start to second guess themselves, that was beautiful. Can't wait to see their reaction to the ending. Regardless of some of the missteps in Shippuden this arc remains one of the greatest things I've ever read. This is how you do a arc finale.

Jose

Are people really complaining about reading the title of an episode 💀😂 that’s dumb

Jocta96

holy shit!! you guys are doing FLCL!!!!!!

spoiled milk

Such a good week and great reactions, Normies! This was such a badass fight and watching this when it first aired in tv as a 9 yo kid and witnesssing this absolutely blew my little mind. Can’t wait for that month to fly over so you’re all back to together to watch Shippuden :) . Love you all 💕

spoiled milk
>>30909640

they’re literally going on a one month break so having fillers is better than having nothing. stop complaining

AIAI

That was epiccc

Ez

Legendary animator Norio Matsumoto did most of the action sequences in episode 133. He implements real life martial arts into his work by studying movies and martial artists. Such an amazing episode with fluid and dynamic animation

godUsoland

Great reaction. I really hope you guys got told though, EP 135 IS THE END OF NARUTO. Everything after that is Filler (EP 136-200). (Except the last 4 minutes of Ep 141)

Anonymous

Naruto didn't die because of the Fox chakra. He was on the verge though.

Keep It Zen
>>30912007

3 last minutes of 141/ First 7 minutes of 142/ last 8 mins of 220 are all canon. They have been compiled into 1 episode for The Normies.

Lazycloud

Yes, when an episode has this animation you know shit is going down. I believe the other fights we've seen that had this animation were: Naruto vs. Haku very briefly before flashback Zabuza vs. Gato's goons Sasuke vs. Orochimaru Rock Lee vs. Gaara Third Hokage vs. Orochimaru and the first two Hokage This same animation style does come back for the super hype fights in Shippuden

Crystalrose

At first i was kinda sad about it being a "podcast" episode but honestly... I'm already laughing at all of yalls comments 1 minute into the episode lmaooo thanks for the triple drop! 💕

Genesis

The one of many legendary moments in this show we have been waiting for🥰🥰🤩

botanbutton

It's been a while since I seen that fight and I must say.....14 year old me really didn't appreciate that, lol.

Mark Stein

Guys, Sasuke didn't plant that. It's Naruto who decided to chase him. Sasuke seeing that he would have to fight just used that moment to get that power.

ez

I think 133 is my favorite episode of both series. And definitely one of if not my favorite fights in anime.

Daniel Gonzales

Damn, my whole week was really bad, dont even wanna talk about it. but this surprise triple drop really made me smile, thx normies, was waiting for this fight since the start of the reactions <3 btw, any brazilians normies fans here?

Nuptup

This was so damn HYPE! I loved that you all loved this fight!

Jjj.

i fucking hate vmeo so fucking much

Mister_Momus
>>30916238

Vimeo is owned by IAC which recently dropped CH Media and thereby losing ~100 entertainment talents their jobs, which I've really enjoyed over the years. So I'm pretty salty at the parent company right now.

JC

When Rana cries I cry, simple 😢😭🥺

Philly The Kid

Jesus, I forgot how much Naruto dragged along.. and yes, I understand that "Shippuden is worse".. It doesn't change the fact that part 1 took it's time to get anywhere.

Subaru130

Honestly, it's been so long since I've watched these episodes, there's a lot of scenes with little Naruto and Sasuke that I had actually forgotten were introduced this early. I thought a lot of them were just retroactively introduced in Shippuden.

dy
>>30911943

Hiroyuki Yamashita is another outstanding animator and I can't wait for them to react to his work in Shippuden, specifically eps 85 and 322

Sheriff Uchiha
>>30928514

Because of the amount of flash backs of the same scenes to pad out runtime in the series as a whole I think it is hard for people to remember when said flash backs were first introduced. It all kind of jumbles together.

Miasimon

"Sasuke!" "Boruto's dad!" Seriously though, the Nine Tails is supposed to be a huge secret within the village. That's why so many people are shocked when they either see this side of Naruto or if he uses an ungodly amount of chakra.

Hazy Skies

So glad they finally got to see the nine tails' cloak and the power it possesses.

Anonymous

one thing I'll always give to naruto over dragonball is the emotion always makes the fight more intense in my book

Michael Diaz

I don't understand how you can call demon Sasuke Sonic The Hedgehog and NOT call demon Naruto Tails. He's a FOX! lmao

ISAAC HERNANDEZ

Just dropping by to say that it is 100% cannon that Kakashi has a bigger dick than Guy

Mike

What's going on with vimeo guys?

Mark Stein

Guys just get someone's cellphone, download an app to prevent the camera to turn off after 10 minutes (it happens on some Samsungs, I don't know if it happens on Apple too). Now you have an extra camera just in case, a little bit of redundancy doesn't kill anybody.

Mark Stein

Sasuke didn't do that on purpose you know why? Because he was fleeing Naruto. Him having to fight Naruto to be able to escape just showed him how convenience was to kill him that and awaken the MS

Mark Stein

Guys, if you want to see a little bit of Kakashi's backstory you can watch Naruto Shippuden episode 119 and 120, (skip the opening for the sacred love of God). It's based on the novel Kakashi Gaiden which was released BEFORE Shippuden episode 1, so it's the author's order to watch.

Mark Stein

at 13:30 of video 2 she starts to cry.

Mark Stein

Guys you have 2 more episodes, you can watch the last one if you want, the final half is canon.

Mark Stein

Now we just have to wait more 340 episodes to see that flashback of Naruto and Sasuke ignoring eachother as kids

Anonymous

DBZ kicked off anime in the west but it was just action with no real character progression. It was just them fighting to get stronger with no other purpose. Naruto introduced character progression and really emotional moments in shounen anime. You didn't get much emotional turmoil in shounen anime's and it influenced a lot of anime's and manga's that came after. Naruto and Sasuke's rivalry seems like it was similar to Goku and Vegeta's but it expanded on their psychological point of view's and other anime's model after that. There will always be a Sasuke and there will always be a Naruto in anime's.

Mark Stein
>>30959757

I think Naruto has a good balance between action and drama, some animes with pure action like DBZ, one punch man, Beyblade, etc are very famous while other animes totally focused on drama are always short on budget because not so many people watch it, but somehow Naruto because worldwide famous selling some fights with lots of drama but some how people like it, they get touched by characters development, they are not only waiting for the next fight.

Space Mechanic

Guys. Kakashi Gaiden (Normies don’t search this up) in the manga it’s between Part 1 and 2. But in anime it’s much later. What fits better story wise?

Minato Namikaze

Poor Rana. During ep 132 everyone is cracking jokes while her world is falling apart.

Brownhokage

Always is and will be the best shonen of all time

Brownhokage

Mha season 4 weak as hell bro

NLT

Say what you want, but MHA is solid all the way through and almost all of the characters are likable and have some type of development. While Naruto is good, you can't deny that a lot of it just drags, the voice acting is average, and the creator had no idea how to write female characters and love interests.

Galleria

Just wanted to say great reaction. The Kakashi Flashback has been shown in the anime however it was classified as a “filler”. I recommend you guys watch it. The voice acting in this show is very well done but it’s popular to criticize it because it’s not “dub”. Keep doing you.

Anonymous

How much movie would someone have to donate so they can watch the movies. We going to have to wait a month anyways without nahid, so the remaining normies can watch the movies.

Carl

lol i think we needed a much needed break.thanks for the reactions

Logan Bradford

when did you guys get the new self-inserting editor? why is that a trend with editors recently

MAY

Have y'all considered watching the first Naruto movie? I just re-watched it and I had forgotten how good it is. I know y'all want to take a break but I think it would be worth reacting to before y'all start Shippuden.

Dspade

Sasuke, Sakura and the rest of the rookies do not know that Naruto is possessed by the nine-tails. The third Hokage made it a point to keep that story from the new generation. Only the parents know.

Dspade

Yeah Vimeo’s kinda balls because you can’t go full screen :-/

Logan
>>30901788

They're aware. Johnny Blue edited the Gaiden episodes for them if they wanted to watch it before Shippuden but the Normies decided to watch it whenever Shippuden aired it. The anime delayed the gaiden episodes so that the anime only audience would interpret a character the way the story is portraying them; those who read the manga never truly believed, to keep it vague.

Logan
>>30955993

they already addressed this in these comments, scroll up and read the comments, man. They chose to watch Kakashi Gaiden in the order the anime presented it.

Logan
>>30962499

The Normies know what it is, just not what it's about. If you scroll up you'll see Suraj talking about how they will watch Kakashi Gaiden the way the anime intended. I think story wise it works better the way the anime did it, cause most of us who read the manga, as we read manga volume 27 before Shippuden, theorized and guessed who a certain dude was. Whereas people I know who watched just the anime just believed a certain character to be exactly who he claimed to be because they had no knowledge of the other guy.

Logan
>>30997306

No amount. The movies are (with two exceptions in Shippuden) filler. Only Suraj and Nahid were interested in watching just the first Naruto movie to see what it was like, the others not so much. They've got other things to watch on their schedule, they're not really itching to fit in a filler movie I think. When Nahid comes back maybe he & Suraj would watch it (or maybe they already have & it just hasn't been released yet)

Logan
>>31018829

It's filler, so like the other Naruto filler, it gets skipped. In a previous episode, Suraj did mention that he & Nahid might react to it and release it just on patreon but that has yet to happen.

Logan
>>31026296

What do you mean? You can go full screen the same way you can on YouTube...

Anonymous

Such a great present! Thank you Normies. Rewatching those reactions before tomorrow release. Can't believe tomorrow we will get to see the end of the arc and naruto. SO EXCITED!

Is it just me, or did episode 127-130 disappear?
