Nuptup

One of my fav episodes this arc. I was eagerly waiting for this reaction! :)

Dakota Day

I’m sure everyone in the chat is gonna mention it, but I just looooove how each royal guard’s answer to Meruem’s question reflects their own personalities and how they think the king should be. Pouf is all about what “should” be and the right way for the king to be. Pitou is about doing whatever “feels” right to the king and letting him decide for himself. And Youpi is just a dedicated shoulder who openly admits he’s not smart enough to come up with an answer. Love it! Love it! Love it!!!

Praga

i think the king and komugi's relationship really helps see the king from a different perspective and not just as an all powerful villain and humanize the character the little, that's why i feel their dynamic is so brilliant

Nuptup

Do you think Komugi is so good at Gungi because she plans to take her life if she loses even a single match? Maybe that acts as a condition to strengthen her Nen for Gungi.

Nuptup

Nahid: We love you all ❤️ Rana: love you ❤️ Suraj: love you ❤️ Mickey: 😐

mickey's had it with the audience lmao. i saw him go from being the most goofy and laughing in the early days to the straight up "HOW are we not paying attention? Listening? No, I'm not doing that, Idc what they say!" LMFAOOO. i feel sorry for him, they broke him

godUsoland

One of my favorite episodes of the entire series. I love Komugi and Meruem's interactions.

You guys will never finish the series at this rate

godUsoland

Meruem: Becoming a better person through Komugi. And now, enter our heroes, who plan to kill everyone in the palace.

Vanessa Grijalva

I think she told the owl chimera ant his name? I could be wrong but Meruem killed him very quickly after his birth for trying to explain something to him or questioning him, so he never got to tell him his name.

Lawliet

I'm dying of impatience seriously, we're almost there... Episodes 111 and 112...

Knuckle's hair

So with Nahid leaving for a month will you guys watch without him ?

Stop asking this hunter x Hunter section. They never miss a day if they have to delay they will post.

Brandon Guthrie

Nah they wont watch without him. And thats good, ninjas that stay together react much better.

Alex cleveland

Nah Pitou def is a girl. She also def a snack 😂

Grand-Daddy Longnuts

Oh hey just throwing this out there, you can regard Pitou as a female...thing. It's just that in Japanese, monster or thing - among other vague words - are "male" nouns. You'll see this again with a character in the next arc that keeps being referred to as He despite the obvious.

Did they not watch naruto this week?

Alejandro Gil

Meruem is such an incredible character. His willingness to question everything around him and even himself leads him to change at an alarming rate. It's easy to see him as pure evil at the beginning when he is introduced but remember that Meruem is like 3 months old. While the chimera ants don't obviously develop at the same rate as humans, Meruem has the experience of a new born and the only things he knows about the world are the things being told to him the the royal guard (that he is king/ that he will rule) and his primal instinct as chimera ant king. His arc so far is one big nature vs nurture debate, The flow this episode is fantastic. As Meruem is dealing with the turmoil inside himself, and the guilt of maybe killing a kid for no reason he doubles down on his primal instinct that strength is strength as defense coping mechanism. However, that mask or facade doesn't last very long as soon as he sees Komugi in danger he is snapped right back to where he was. You can tell at this point how very little meruem cares about the selection or any of that stuff. He is just happy playing gungi with komugi

Absolutely one of my favorite things about this episode. If I can add anything is that Youpi comes across as incredibly humble and wise. Who you are ins't really a question someone else can answer for you.

David Salazar

People sleep on this episode! I am so happy you guys enjoyed it!!

Why dont they just watch 4 eps in a row pre-recorded with him they upload during his vac? That's not even 4 hours and would make hxh crowd really pleased

Carl

It’s not even 2pm in the time zone the Normies are in. Relax.

spacewitch

You know, I never noticed this before, but now that I've seen this show like 4 times, I'm just now starting to think that that bird was maybe somehow influenced by Meruem's energy to attack Komugi, like he read the 'room' and was like "Ok. gotcha. kill the girl. I'll get right on that. you want her dead? she's dead." I always thought it was super random that some bird just decided to attack Komugi out of nowhere? But when I think about it this way it makes more sense to me lol. Sorry if I'm last to realize this or w/e but I absolutely LOVE Komugi and Meruem.

Zee

I started binging the show and I’m finally caught up with you guys. Can’t wait to go back and watch your reactions. This arc is truly great and recently the stuff between Komugi and Meruem is just so engaging that it makes you want more. Can’t wait for the uncut Friday and the reaction next week!

The Bird was frightened by Meruems aura. In a way he was the one who caused the bird to attack komugi. I think it was very intentional on togashi's part. Meruem unintentionally hurt komugi during his speech. And he realized, after facing the consequences of his actions that he doesn't want to hurt her, but protect her.

Lawliet

Please guys, when Nahid gonna be somewhere else for vacation or something, don't watch without him, we're almost there, the best episodes are soon, that would be so sad, My bro Nahid has to be there for this!

Why does naruto take the longest to upload 😭 are they fucking w us

Zee
>>31161193

These batch of episodes always get hit by YouTube so they likely have to fix that or put it on Vimeo. Just go do something else

“StOp WhINnING” dude I’m gonna say what I want sorry to hurt you 🤣

The truth is Naruto is the show they least care about so its get to the last, nobody cares

Whim

The mental gymnastics of the King in this episode was really surprising for me on the first watch too. So refreshing to see more complexity in his thoughts when at first you might expect him to be a 'Evil Just Because He's Evil' villain-type, but Togashi made Mereum so dimensional and interesting as the story progresses. He's a really well written antagonist. It was one of the things that brought this arc from being good to amazing, and I'm glad you guys are seeing that too!

kdaW

The King is basically a baby as he was born VERY recently.

Shockzz1234

I'm glad they think the Meruem/Komugi dynamic is the best part of this arc. It was to me too, and for loads of people, and if you like that dynamic then you'll like this whole arc tenfold more than you already would have.

Jevan

An that was when The Normies realized there’s layers to this shit

Aadit Doshi

Togashi's villains are always great. Even in Yu Yu hakusho, he added a lot of depth to the villains after they were defeated. I'm just glad in Hunter he does that development early.
