What you saw is what Gon would become in a decade or two if he continued training. Basically, this was his potential. Anyone with nen could have made that same nen condition, but it was reliant on Gon's potential. So if someone with barely any potential made the same condition, theyd be giving up their nen for practically nothing. But we get to see what Gon would have become, while he simultaneously throws away that potential in order to kill Pitou. Also, his hair growing because of his body aging I believe is the correct answer, knowing this.

I might be one of the minority, but I cried for Pitou the first time I saw this episode. Yes, she's done cruel things before, but she's changed and grown. There was no malice on her actions. It was just her, trying to protect the King in any way she can.

they explained that your nen doesn't go away after you die. it's practically your soul. if you have so much anger or unfinished business your nen will remain in the world for a while. and we saw it first hand. i was wondering when we would see that come into play lol. they said that one sentence hoping you would forget about it by now so you'll be confused and surprised by this.
