Just as a FYI for future reference, there are multiple characters who speak multiple languages in this series. Sometimes they'll have a side character say something along the lines of, "Huh, what language is that?" to clue the audience in to a change in spoken language. However, the majority of the time they don't do that and it can get confusing since everyone is speaking Japanese, so pay close attention to what region the characters are in and what nationality the characters speaking are.

SixPathTobi

Nooooooo. Damnit. I thought we'd get the gennin or Jonin 5 for Vinland saga. (Nahid, Chris, Saraj, Nahid's girl, and Micky)

HybridThizzle

bruh nahid was so excited for this in the wheel and so was suraj where are they

SixPathTobi
>>38307377

Same bro. The reaction Lineup just fucked up my enjoyment. Just like with Promised Neverland

Robert
>>38307439

Nahid is having health problems so I’d assume that’s why he isn’t there yet

Jules Eris

Damn, I was really hoping Nahid would be in this one... He would love this show.

Shockzz1234

Damn, no Suraj or Nahid. BUT i fuck with this group too, so excited for you guys to finally see this greatness.

Jesse Collins

Ooooooooh their in for one HELL of a RIDE!

Tooshmacked

My fav anime of the year over kimetsu

Bayan M

YESSS! I love this show!cannot wait for them to experience the greatness

Zee

Aye they got some of the crew from Vikings. Let’s go. Been hype for you guys to react to this

David Salazar

Yessss second/third favorite show of all time behind HxH

Michael Liang

Yessss!!! So hyped for this! This was by far and away the best anime of last year.

MOB12

Im really glad Micky and Marketa are here. And more of the Vikings crew. I really hope Nahid and Rana join in the future tho!! Feel better Nahid!

Zee

Think Nahid will be in the reactions but he likely was dealing with his back while they recorded

godUsoland

Pat, If your looking for a war anime, check out "The Saga of Tanya the Evil" and "Legend of the Galactic Heroes" (1988). Tanya is short( 12 ep + movie), bloody, and awesome. Galactic Heroes is the Best War anime created, and is an epic tale of a clash of ideologies and strategic masterminds.

Sam h

Bruh dont touch that ending song no more

Hængeklumpen

the girl is way to low. can\t hear her

Anonymous

oh shit here we go

Jereco

Oh man, the Vinland Saga hype train has arrived! This is damn near a perfect season of anime.

Justin Neason

Here we go, I actually love this show. Can't wait for the next season

Anonymous

By the way some names will be similar to the live show, but the characthers have nothing to do with each other, is a complete different timeline and story

Manu
>>38308406

Yes! Saga of tanya the evil is an Amazing anime! I wish more people reacted to it

Ginzo

Another shounen... Oh well, at least it's one of the better ones.

Nuptup

The episode begins with Thors slaughtering people left and right, and the episode ends with him saving life of a slave, which in those times is certainly not common. Very intriguing character, makes you wonder on why/how he changed. The way the series explores and develops characters is quite something, of the best I have personally seen!

EZ

YALL SLEEPING ON VINLAND SAGA

Anonymous

btw i know this problem hasnt came up yet, but the japanese is strange in this show as everyone is speaking japanese but the characters are supposed to be speaking different languages, so sometimes characters dont understand eachother but its not clear as all the characters are just speaking japanese to the viewer, theres no distinction between english and norwegian, its all japanese. Also some people dont like the slow pacing of the first 3 episodes( which is weird to me because i love first 3 eps) but if your no digging it for this show i always say that ep 4 is the ep that gets everyone hooked if ur not hooked by the first 3(which again would be weird)

Anonymous

I Think you guys are confusing characters Thors(the guy with the black hair/the Dad) is a made up charecter just for the show. The show does feature many other characters that are based on real people.

Lonimb

Was there an anime reaction wheel that decided on this or did you guys just want to watch it?

Alex cleveland

This show is fire, cant wait till they show the best character in the show. Also BLM!!!!!!!!

Freddie marcano

Hopefully the crew is bigger the next episodes. This show deserves it more than some shows ya do with the Entire gang. Definitely hating right now lol

Ruben Lopez

Definitely need the whole crew for this reaction. I don't like new anime but this one pretty good.

Yomeniester

I think it would be best not to compare the live action show Vikings to Vinland Saga. Vinland is primarily based on the Old Norse Sagas and is significantly more historically accurate than Vikings. The weapons and armor for example are much more in line to their time period in Vinland than in Vikings. Also, a lot of names are derived from each other and from past figures, (Thors & Thorfinn) so the names you recognize from Vikings aren’t necessarily the same individuals you are remembering from Vikings. There are probably peasant farmers out there named Herald and Floki for example.

Max

Even though the sub killed it, this is one of the few animes that really needs a dub of some sort.

Space Mechanic

Happy that those of you that who reacted to Vikings are watching this. Think you’ll appreciate it slightly more, it’s great regardless though 👍🏾

David Zavala

was hoping for more cast. damn

L

Micky you looking away too much my guy. You miss out on stuff with subs if you look away from the screen too much. It isn't a big deal but you missed the entire little end bit with showing a certain weapon because you were looking at your phone.

MOB12
>>38314776

He already saw the first episode awhile ago he said in a stream sometime. So maybe thats why

Anonymous

So happy ur watching this!

Zee
>>38314074

I agree. Especially with the different languages / accents

Anonymous

Guys don't skip the ed they're really good and episodes have more impact once you listen to the ed after a significant moment, that's the only problem I had with this reaction everything it was great to see you guys excited about the show.

Pucki

glad to see marketta and pat in it but im missing chris and nahid at the same time the more the merrier for me ;D

Panos

So happy that there is no dub so they have to watch the original.

Alex Flores

Fucking micky 😂 “Some mysteries” as he looks down and doesn’t see what’s in the chest haha. Dope reactions guys.

Alex Flores
>>38308241

I definitely want to see him and suraj, they bring fire reactions every time

Emmanuel

We need the whole crew for this, it's a good one!!

Saifu

If Kimetsu and MHA was able to deserve the full crew, I would say even more so for Vinland.

Victor Tran
>>38338192

I agree. And I hope the rest of the normies aren't skipping out on Vinland cause they think it's going to be anime version of 'Viking'. It'll be a real shame if they did.

Lawliet

I hope we’ll get the whole crew before episode 4...

Benjamin Donahue

Just finished watching this myself. Thought it was great, and glad to see you guys getting into it. Annoyed that I have to wait for you guys to get through it though lol. Looking forward to it

Sorin

If this is going to be the crew going forward for this series I don't think I'll be watching. Much like with The Promised Neverland.

TheHumourTumour
>>38320271

I mean Im always down for a good dub but Thorfinns jap VA is too good to pass on. The screams are something a dub could never replicate bc eng VAs cant be too harsh on their voices unlike jap ones

Matis

I was looking for an excuse to watch xD

Anonymous

yeah this show is more linked towards Snorre's Saga's then it is the Vikings shows. In the Saga's you have the kings of Norway and such doing almost super hero feats.

Christian Owusu

Did nobody tell them to watch the first 3 ep together like they were released💀💀

kartikeyan mk

I suggest bringing the whole crew in for this beautiful show. Anime of the year 2019 in my opinion. Also just wanna put it out there, it's not like the live action Viking show.

KBM

Finally! Enjoy the ride it's a great one.

Izaya

Just dont go to this anime thinking its “Vikings The Anime”
