Unstablebeast

Well, if this is any indication then they will be switching to just 1 episode a week for volumes 2 onward, which means it will take them 2 years to catch up and they will likely catch up a bit after volume 10 ends

Zack

This episode is THE episode that got me into this show

Andre Ransom

Hopefully you guys pay a littlllle more attention the rest of the series. It was driving me insane 😂. And yes, Jaune is kind of the Sokka of the group, he was directing his team, JNPR, in their fight. Meanwhile Ruby led her team

godUsoland

This was the episode that got everyone hooked into RWBY for the long haul

Zen Reacts

"Listen to this music" others proceed to talk over the entire part

Zenanarch

yess ive had a bowl packed, and ribs waiting in the fridge for this tgif

Zen Reacts

Also Marketa the Grimm actively seek out humans to kill them. They dont defend territories their only instinct is too destroy

KevinFromNewYork

"Why are they not dead?" Remember that aura explanation everyone talked over. 🤔

SaviorOfNirn

My dudes, literally everything you have questions about has already been answered, you just talked over it. And really, the music is more important than you give it credit. There's a lot of thought put into this show, it isn't just some webshow thrown together in a basement.

Mia White

I’ll be honest, I agree with everyone in the comments saying you’re talking over stuff that’s actually more important than you might think. But still, I enjoyed it.

SaviorOfNirn

Rana is on point, as always, though.

Caleb Glushenko

Same but just Realize how short each ep is and if your really gonna one to two a week. It’s just gonna get boring I would say finish season 1 because the most important towards the end like 14 and then go we like 3-4 for vol 2 because by the time you guys are caught up we will be done with rwby and you guys are gonna be on like vol 5. Still love the reactions I get your reacting but try to listen a little more. I would speed up the uploads tho. Love yall

Eli van Aggelen

Can't wait for them to start Volume 2 (Season 2 for those new to RWBY), the massive improvement in the art quality is gonna be such a shock to them lol

DYLAN

damn 4 episodes in and people are already pains in the ass complaining about everything forgot how annoying the rwby community is... yes they talk but just cause you don't hear the episode doesn't mean they don't... They always talk a lot whatever the show is... if you don't like it then go watch other reactors..

Fyre

It becomes a good show. People tend to forget that Volume 1 was dismissed pretty easily because of the poor animation, low quality VA work and excessively tropey story. It gets put above volume 4 by RWBY fans because it's still a Monty season, and fans put a lot of stock in the name and there's always a nostalgia factor. Ultimately though, Volume 1 is pretty bad, and it's only the Monty fights that make any of it watchable. Volume 2 was such a massive jump in quality that that's where the show really got a fanbase started. If they still hate it after watching that, they're probably just not gonna fit with the show. Especially the lore dump episodes that come later.

Victor Tran

This show is really more a guilty pleasure. It got cool character design and awesome fighting sequence, but the writing is far from perfect which is a shame. On a brighter note, Rooster Teeth are aware of the flaws and really pick things up in volume 7.

Lurkinix

This episode is famous in the community for being the episode that really kicks off the show.

Michael Diaz

If they’re all on the same couch in the same room being filmed by the same camera, why did the editor go through all the extra work to make it look like they were far apart?

Yeah that’s more of a problem with the Normie’s then with the fans complaining. Just like you said, they talk through whatever show they watch. And they get complaints about it too.

Jason Rodriguez

So glad ranas there. If she wasn't everyone would be lost

Bane

I strongly recommend you watch the "world of Remnant" companion videos. They were made to give the viewer info about the rwby universe that, while not necessary to enjoy the main series, is vital to really understand the world. There is so much in those videos that dramatically enhances the main series and also helps to understand many of the core concepts of rwby as a whole. The episodes were released in batches, each batch accompanying a season of the main show. In my opinion they should be watched before starting there accompanying season as each batch deals with topics introduced as a major focus of that season. episodes 1-4 go with season 2. 5-8 with season 3. And 9-16 with season 4.

Sevarate

Damn here I am, watching RWBY again for a 8th time from the start. I'm excited for you guys to see the upcoming seasons

Absolutely not with watching them before the volume. That works with V2 and V4, but there is at least one WoR that is a DIRECT spoiler to a very specific reveal in V3. Just watch as it aired.

Dylan Hughes

cant wait for you guys to get into the lore of the show. excited to rewatch this 3rd time now lol

Phonic Reassignment

Y’all kinda talked through it but it was Ruby’s plan not Wiess’ Either way it worked out.

I think things kind of get dull in v4 and v5 (though I wouldn't call them bad, just a hard change of pace) but from v6 onwards it really picks back up again in a way that's very good

FryLord

This is misleading for reasons I cannot explain because spoilers

Summer Runner

Lmao Marketta so progressive she's even sympathizing with the Grim...

Morgan Le Fay

Best girl Rana! And points to Marketa for stanning Blake.

Anonymous

People complaining about them not listening need to remember this is a reaction channel. Their commentary is key to the content. If they miss something, Rana seems to be on point with notes. If not, that's why we are here to clarify things when pertinent. Its a complex magic system, and world that develops through seasons, not episodes. No one got everything their first time watching.

"Normal Knees" was a callback to Ruby saying that she didn't want to be "the Bee's knees" but "Just a normal girl, with normal knees" in Chapter 1. She's glad that Weiss neither thinks she's incapable, nor amazing. Jaune and Ruby were made leaders because they were the ones, not only giving orders, but having their orders listened to by the rest of their team, and showing that they can learn about how to use their new teammates' abilities in a very short time. Yang's plan - Hit it harder. Weiss and Blake - "this isn't working" Ruby - Makes a plan using the abilities of her team that she can only infer. Weiss never used a black Glyph in front of her before. Ren - Only gives an order to Nora, who he's known for years. Pyrrha - Doesn't give orders at all, just excels. Nora - Doesn't give orders either, but is good at following. Jaune - Shows great situational awareness, in assessing that the team fighting the Deathstalker needed help, that the platform they were on should be abandoned, and in identifying the opportunity to cut off the stinger. He's a bad fighter right now, but a good strategist. And yeah, that is the moon, and it is seriously messed up. It does rotate too, so you get "full moon" nights in a few episodes where all the broken pieces are facing towards the viewer, and it's kinda neat.

For some reason they think we care where it not they are social distancing.
