Camp Crystal Lake vibes 👀

Bold prediction after seeing the thumbnail (gorgeous shot): it is a short film implying serious topic with some scary elements. The thumbnail does not have a lot of color variation, but they are adding some stylistic red on the edge, taking the releasing date into account, it might has some scary elements. The way that they show the water reflecting is interesting which makes me think this is not a skit but more real-life, psychological related.

love the shot of you guys walking in the dark with your flashlights next to the water it reminds me of a few scenes from are you "afraid of the dark" and R L Stein's Goosebumps

I was thinking more of Cabin in the Woods, the Joss Whedon version. Either way, It's piqued my interest.

I wish I could go shoot a short film with my friends out of the city life! That sounds so fun right about now! And then coming back to civilization and doing some relaxing color grading and VFX.
