Sun Wukong’s character is an allusion to The Monkey King “Sun Wukong” from the story ‘A journey to the west.’ His “Gun-chucks” are one of my favorite weapons in the show. A staff, nunchucks, and also a gun! 💛

Its going to be years before Rana realises that she is lowkey cosplaying Blake. Also Heads up all of the RWBY episodes have been taken off of youtube ... because you know Warner Media....sucks.... but they are all still free on the RT site itself plus can also be found on crunchyroll Virv and others. please checkout the soundtracks when you can.... while technically not canon they are VERY lore heavy

I still think you guys should keep the two episode a week format for Volume 2, but Volume 3 and onwards can be done one episode a week. Also, idk if anyone mentioned this but there are “World of Remnant” videos you should watch between each season, but it’s not really completely necessary.

They did mention watching WoR at some point, but a gentle reminder is always helpful😂. It would be great for them to realise that it’s a fully realised world and has more depth than they’re currently seeing.

Weiss admits to being abused by her angry alcoholic father, who was driven to anger and alcoholism by the murder of his staff. Meanwhile, Blake admits to Weiss' face that the white fang are after genocide. But you guys still want to paint it like Weiss is privileged and the White Fang arent all that bad, because you link it to real world groups. Your own politics are blinding you to the story here.

She wasn't abused. Neglect maybe in terms of not getting his approval and feeling distant from her father but abuse is very very different. Her problem is "Daddy's company was in trouble so he wasn't there for me" That's very much a first world problem given other people are trying to dodge bullets

I can't get into the explanation without spoilers, but you have a lot of wires crossed. Wrong characters and almost correct actions, but that's way down the line in later seasons so I wont say anymore

I started watching RWBY a few days ago mainly to watch these reactions. I didn't really know if I was going to like it and going in my expectations were pretty low. Well, today I have Volume 7 to watch and I'll be all caught up and I have to say...I LOVE IT! I really can't wait for the group to get deeper into the story and characters. Present characters as well as new ones who have yet to be introduced. GOOD day today....Volume 7 of RWBY and season premiere of The Mandalorian!😁

I just looked up what you meant. I didn’t even make that connection before. Also, this guy voices characters in a lot of stuff I watched young justice, code geass, the old Ben 10 cartoons. He’s even the voice of PS4 Spider Man

I noticed that nobody really said this yet so I thought I might attempt to clarify. In this episode, Blake wasn't moving fast, Ruby's Semblance (like a Quirk) is speed, and typically nobody ever has the same semblance. Blake's semblance is like, a copy. She leaves a kind of shadow copy of herself in the space she was in. They're super weak and can only take a single hit though. Torchwick was taking them down just as fast as she could make them, that's why it just looked like she was moving quickly. Keep the great work, yall!

Just to let yall know, Blake WAS apart of the violent heists and robberies. Her trailer is referrence to that.

Keep in mind that every character is based on some type of theme or fairytale character. This makes it kind of like a fun game in when new characters are added, you can try to guess what the character is referencing. Like Penny isn't a real human and she has "strings" therefore *wink wink* *nudge nudge*

Not confirming or denying Penny, but her back doesn't actually open up. Her weapons are held in a backpack she wears. Most other scenes she is in, she's not wearing it.
