You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become a Naruto fan 🤣

Anthony Villena

When L is watching them on the surveillance cam I wonder if he is questioning why Light is still pretending to be affectionate with Misa when they no longer need her to cooperate with the task force

Lively Nili

If you can remember, Misa gained the rest of the lifespan that the Shinigami that fell in love with her had. And Shinigami gain the lifespan of the Humans they kill with their Death Note, so it's a good possibility that Misa had hundreds maybe thousands of years added to hers. She should be able to live a very long life.

Legion

All according to keikaku keikaku means plan

Jaminica

My boy Light Yagami is GOATED 😌 I love it

ashraven

Misa’s lifespan was not extended by hundreds of years. She was fated to die at the hands of a murderer and a Shinigami saved her. So she will love how ever long a normal lifespan will be since the event that would kill her didn’t happen. She did not magically gain hundreds of years

Elle B.

That airplane sound effect/cut to Light’s shocked, silent face never fails to give me chills!

No I believe they're right. She's given the Shinigami years that the Shinigami has accrued

Dinero

Next episode is the best of the series. Wish we could have a double drop since episode 24 and 25 flow perfectly together

I never understood why people believe her lifespan was extended by 100's of years. I mean we have no idea how many years Gelus had left. More then likely it wouldn't have been very many given what we know of the Shinigami, them being extremely lazy and are often made fun of when they do eventually write a humans name in their book.

WTF was that intro discussion LMFAO. I was legit in shock to what yall was talking about (In a good way tho, I guess). 😂🤣😨

Benjamin Donahue

As twisted as the Misa/Light relation ship seems something that always stood out to me is that while Light is definitively abusive it only happens because he is under literal threat of death to put up with her. Misa literally forced her way into his life and altered his life to accommodate her whims. If he refused her Misa would only do more reckless shit to get him until he was caught and Rem obviously made it impossible to kill her. As much as it blows my mind how he treats her sometimes it is also 100% UNDENIABLY her own fault.

The end is Near...

They're not simping. "The end is near" is a clever pun.

Michael Diaz

1. If someone WANTS you to do something to them that you shouldn’t do, then you should still want to reject the offer out of your own morals. Because accepting the offer just because you can means that it’s something you were always okay with doing and just needed the excuse to do it. 2. Light didn’t ask her to slice her lifespan in half. She did that in her own which he then criticized, meaning he obviously had other plans as well and possibly a backup in case she couldn’t get the eyes.

J S

I don't think the MIsa/Light dynamic is that unrealistic. Remember that Light is incredibly good-looking and popular, and somewhat famous both as an athlete and a scholar (scholarship holding more social cachet in Japanese schools than it does in the US -- if you're good-looking and socially adept, then being top of your class actually makes you more popular). When you have a top 1% attractive guy, girls will literally destroy themselves for that person's favor. Imagine if Justin Bieber is his heyday asked a girl to run around dodging cars on a busy freeway in exchange for being his girlfriend -- she probably would.

chuahsang

I like Marketa's point. L IS playing a catch up. Light had a head start. So it IS harder for L to catch up with someone who's pretty much as smart as you and also had a head start.

But Misa is actually the famous one here. She is the Justine Bieber in your scenario
