I've been waiting for the next couple episodes for so long I forgot when they were coming

In season 2 episode 3, echidna said to subaru when they first met was “when petelgeuse died, the sloth witch factor chose subaru as its new dwelling.” And the tea she made him drink strengthened his connection with it.

Being put in a tight spot, Subaru had no other option but to sacrifice his gate and use Shamak (learned by Puck in S1) to stop a raging Garfiel. But that was not enough to stop the “chuunibyou” demi-human. When Garfiel came at him once again, Subaru manifests an unseen hand. This helps him lands a crucial blow on his opponent. How did Subaru get the Unseen hand? Subaru inherited the Unseen Hand from Petelguese Romanee Conti. Unseen hand originally belonged to Petelguese, who was the Sin archbishop of Sloth as you remember. Thanks to Subaru’s connection to the Witch of Envy, he was able to perceive the Unseen Hand. This allowed him to defeat Petelguese, albeit with a lot of scheming and “dying”. Hence inheriting the authority after Petelgeuse's death.

The second authority is Invisible Providence: Is another authority, which was actually used by Sekhmet (Witch of Sloth), it allows users to create a force-field that surrounds them. This allowed her to hit and crush her opponents without even having to move a muscle. As seen with her using the ability on Minerva back in Ep 28. Very much a sloth. Subaru used the ability to form a 'somewhat' protective force-field to help receive Garfs punch to his face. Yet, both abilities put a strain on him as he hasn't 'obliviously' mastered them yet, being it first time and all. Also. Echidna's insult to Emilia being a Witch's daughter could be two things. She could be meaning it as Emilia being Envy's daughter or could be meaning a whole other witch. She said 'Witch's daughter' and not 'Witch of Envy's daughter' after all. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Seems like the others have done their jobs of explaining the stuff for this episode lol. Since that is already done I will just say I enjoyed the reaction and discussion.
