It’s funny how they mentioned a homeless woman was a Med in another season. Just a big FYI.. The actor that plays CHRIS.. was a COP in season 1 of the wire for just a scene lol.

Right on time as the Normies close up The Wire, The Beauty Of did a video of The Wire a few days ago. It's a great closing to the best show ever. The fans should check it out: The Beauty Of The Wire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqNnUHLXNWk

That scene with Marlo in the cell raises hairs.

That's such a great scene, the camera work is telling you how revealing that moment is for him, that his reputation is what he cares about over all else.

Kinda confused at your reactions to Kima. A few episodes ago you guys didn't like the season because McNulty and Lester were doing bad things. Now Kima is doing the right thing, telling the truth and you don't like it as well....

Kamina 1

There are a couple happy endings (up to episode 9) besides Bubbs, and Namond. I mean look at Cutty, and Carver. An maybe a few I'm forgetting as well. It's not all sad endings haha

Kamina 1

Well they didn't like Jimmy, and Lester doing bad things because they were bad things. Now we have Marlo in cuffs, and they are concerned Kima telling Daniels what she did screws up the whole case, and get's Marlo back on the streets. What it boils down to is everyone but Chris really REALLY wants Marlo in jail badly lol. Hopefully that clears things up for you.

We are in Season 5 of the of show and seems to me they still don't get the point of it. It's not about goodies win baddies go to jail. That shouldn't be their focus.

Mike

Herc is telling Levy about an *illegal* wire tap. He's doing a good thing here (for once) because McNulty and Freamon are actively breaking the law.

Rico

Fan fiction? The show has set this up from episode 1. Nothing about what McNulty and Lester have done is out of character. The path has been highlighted throughout the series. The FBI profile of McNulty was the exclamation point. What's the difference between them and Bunny?

Really looking forward to your reaction on the finale. It has been a great journey, I am a bit sad it's going to end now.

It was me about that learned about Wayland singing the intro. I learned a lot from Jemele Hill and Van Lathans podcast about the wire called Way down in the hole if anyone is interested

Jay

Please react to the corner after ur finished with the wire

Dude. I cry so much every time i see this episode. Those kids. We meet them in season 4 boys of summer and to where they end up 😥😥

David Porter

first episode I think. You can see him sitting in court in the back in an officer’s uniform

TV shows and all other art are a subjective experience. There's no "right" way to appreciate a TV show. You shouldn't tell someone what their focus should be or how they should be emotionally invested. Thats just nonsense. Everybody brings their own opinions into it.

Heavy scenes here, man. I cried three times. Those throwbacks to season 4. Knowing the sad-ass breakup of Michael, Duke, and Bug was actually a best case scenario. And don't get me started on the Bub's storyline. RIP Snoop, a villainous fan favorite. All of them, real people.
