The RWBY video is blocked 😭

Eddy Kubus

RWBY got blocked for copyright.

Kidman Man

You guys gotta talk to roosterteeth they're usually very reactor friendly don't know why they blocked the current episode

Nekko Shift
>>71255402

It happens automatically, It’s a matter of them just reaching out.. hopefully they get it today, if not, then we’ll have to wait till Monday for it to get unblocked; Big Sadge

PR98

PR98
>>71255844

Great advice Joseph. I pay for their patreon just to be patient when they can resolve this in 10 minutes by uploading it on vimeo.

Gray Dmitriev
>>71255402

That's the thing. Whenever the public material (i.e. Chapters already out after First members) get released, it's usually not RT who block them but YouTube themselves. It was a huge problem when V5 was coming out.

FryLord
>>71255844

You're getting it a week early. Ten minutes won't kill you and they don't bother with vimeo because RT allows full uploads on youtube, so that'd be a massive waste of time

RWBYfreak6325

Was hoping for another double drop like last week, damn

PR98
>>71255844

I'm sorry but if you think it will take only 10 minutes then you're going to be disappointed. And how exactly is uploading it on vimeo a waste of time when it can literally take a whole day to get unblocked? Do you think RT is just sitting there waiting for Normies to message them for unblocking their video?

R
>>71255844

I mean relax it has not been that long i get it but jeez I am sure they are working as fast as they can

PR98
>>71255844

But it's not up to them bro. Like I said, RT ain't just sitting there for Normies to message them. I know it's still early but it can take a whole day and then they're gonna regret not posting it on vimeo as a back up plan.

kevin hang

I guess that’s why they double drop last week 😂

FryLord
>>71256955

I don't think we'll get anymore since the chapters are more like episodes in length now

FryLord
>>71259375

Youtube automatically blocks RWBY, every reaction channel just has to ask RT to unblock it

R
>>71256955

i mean not necessarily they do double drops for other shows

ChocoElBanana

YouTube algorithm is messing up with another RWBY reaction. Just contact Roosterteeth, they're pretty much cool with reactions as long as they get credited properly.

Hayden Smith

Really fucking stupid that people would dislike the RWBY reaction just because it's blocked. Not like it's their fault. I'm sure they'll get it unblocked as soon as they can. People need to chill out.

FryLord
>>71260318

Wow you're right, already 5 dislikes. I thought it was kinda silly funny I liked a blocked video, but it makes no sense to dislike..

Anonymous

While we're talking about RWBY, the link to v5ch14 is broken. Hopefully that could also be fixed soon. I can't keep watching without that reaction :'(

FryLord
>>71256955

But those have many more episodes than rwby so it makes sense or else they'd spend several more years on one show. They're already on vol six and we're waiting on vol 9 so they're not too far off and will probably be at least approaching vol 8 by the time we get 9. I want double drops, but at this point i think it makes more sense as a content creator to stick to 1

Edwin Ayala
>>71260318

They ARE okay, but Youtube automatically blocks it sometimes. Just need to tell RT so it can get cleared up.

Zen Reacts
>>71260318

Yeah i went through the same shit on my channel, sometimes it gets blocked other time you dont even have to file a claim and its fine as is

Zen Reacts
>>71255844

Bro as someone who has emailed RT about getting reactions unblocked before Im gonna say they are very fast when it comes to responses so youre just being an asshat at this point

ANIMEMUSE

Rwby is blocked might want to contact rooster teeth

FryLord
>>71261038

Interestingly enough ch 13 was just reuploaded 9 hours ago. It seems youtube is giving them a time with the rwby videos

PR98
>>71255844

I'm being an asshat for suggesting a quick solution? Okay then... You people are so sensitive these days that I can't even enjoy to have conversations with you. Next time I'll just stay quiet and let other people do the talking.

Mario Carranza

"hey, even tho I can clearly see other commentators clearly state that rwby is down I'm going to repeat it because I want my pointless comment to be seen" ... that's all of you ... that what you sound like.

AlecSinWonderland

Hey, RWBY is down! just want my pointless comment to be seen.

Anonymous

lol at people coping about others being upset about the reaction being blocked. yea people are gonna dislike the video and spam that it got blocked especially when there is no updates from them about the status of the episode.

Nathan

Can you imagine the audacity of people who are mad that people are mad about people being mad about the reaction being block? I myself would NEVER add to such a chain.

Guess

I just wanted to comment

Bejo
>>71269937

How DARE you be mad that people are mad that people are mad that people are mad that the reaction is blocked? (I may have lost track at the end)

Michael Diaz

Damn that’s disappointing that it’s blocked. More so because it’s shocking too. Since it’s already all over YouTube, once played on YouTube for free, currently plays on Rooster Teeth for free, and Rooster Teeth generally promote these types of reaction videos so wtf? And funny thing is this is my first time running into a video that’s blocked for copyright. o.o Even weirder are people disliking the video. Like wtf you’re disliking the Normies, not the people who blocked them. What do you think you’re even doing? lol

Terrafan
>>71272930

Roosterteeth is very open about people reacting to their stuff and they highly encourage it. What's happening here is more that the Youtube Algorithm is at work. A simple email to RT will get this cleared up in a day or two.

Alex

Aw it's blocked. 😥

Adam Burt
>>71272930

Yeah, a few reactors have fallen into this issue. Rooster Teeth love reactors, but still need to protect their IP. So they have copyright claim on the episodes themselves to prevent channels from just straight up stealing and uploading them, which unfortunately has the side effect of YouTube auto flagging reactions sometimes even when RT doesn't pursue themselves. Should get cleared up fairly quick though, just sucks in the meantime. And yeah, anyone down voting the video are just idiots.

Blake

Hey guys the RWBY the reactions are blocked right now

King Avalon

Yeah this is YouTube blocking it not roosterteeth they love people’s reactions to the show you can just Appel it and it should be fine.

Jason S
>>71260318

@Temperistic They're okay with reactions. They're not okay with unchanged reuploads. They will use YouTube automated system to block reuploads, but sometimes reactions will get caught up as well. This is why they will unblock the reactions after they have been contacted. This usually doesn't happen over the weekend, as there is no one working at RT then.

Champion Bescos

Just wondering if we’re getting a movie reaction on Patreon today? I thought TheNormies website had a schedule for this week saying an early access film would be announced for this weekend? Or did I simply read that wrong? Just curious.

ZERO

Guys its still blocked, just upload on vimeo...

Paul R Peddy

aww you guys, the RWBY video was taken down

Jason S
>>71359719

Usually Rooster Teeth doesn't unblock videos over the weekend, as they are not working. I'd expect it to be back up early in the week.

Nekko Shift
>>71359719

Yeah, expect it back up between Monday or Tuesday (That’s usually how fast they respond to the reaction emails)…

Evan
>>71359719

i figured they would have uploaded to vimeo by now, considering we pay for this content

PR98
>>71350795

I said this since they first posted it because I knew this would happen and yet I got shit for it. Well here we are...the reaction is still blocked after 2 days with no update from Normies. Don't come at me again for knowing how this shit works.

R
>>71359719

im sure they are working quick to find a solution

Blake

Can we at least get an update guys this is getting ridiculous.

TAC3000

Jesus, calm down. Yall sound like nasty spoiled children sometimes. I swear. Nobody works on sundays wait an effing day before you pull out the inner Karens. Christ.

Karim kenneth baash

Guys its ok. We will all survive. Let's give them time to figure it out. Plus its going to be worth the wait

Anonymous
>>71374630

a day? its been 3 boss with 0 update despite the normies being active on social. you can say calm down but this is horrid business practice just being honest.

Jeff
>>71374630

I mean I agree people should calm down but it takes next to no effort to fire off a "workin on it" post as well. Am I sure they are? Course. Doesn't mean it's not negligent to say nothing. Karen's are people being unreasonable or demanding things that weren't promised. This is their fucking business, it's their job to inform their customers. You have any idea how much I hate saying that? Literally just the one simple update prevents me from saying ALL of this. Also dunno what privileged life you've led (or oblivious) but a TON of people work Sundays. Really weird defense.

Michael Diaz
>>71374630

I get so annoyed with people calling it a business practice. It’s not a fucking business. You are literally DONATING MONEY to support them in doing whatever the fuck they felt like doing to entertain the world. You get all this shit for free and merely get rewarded by seeing it early or getting exclusive stuff. If they can’t do they or something’s up then that’s the reality of the situation. They’re not a corporation with a thousand employees. Your money could literally be going towards whatever the gel they gotta work on while being down dealing with this shit. Not to mention the Normies you see on the couch aren’t even the ones editing and posting shit. You’re frustrated? They’re the ones who have to hear all this crap while trying to get things running as soon as they can.

Michael Diaz
>>71374630

Now the part about working on Sundays…. I’m literally just checking in while on my break right at this moment. I’ve been working ALL Sunday. lol

Morgan Le Fay
>>71374630

Asking for some correspondence doesn’t make us terrible people. It’s been days without any word. Usually they’d update us on the situation, so you can’t get mad at people for wanting answers.

The Normies

Good morning everyone!!! I see we had an eventful weekend :) lol In all seriousness, we apologize for RWBY being blocked as this has been an issue. We are doing whatever we can to get this issue fixed and will update you all soon! UPDATE: We have reached out to Rooster Teeth and are waiting for them to accept our request. Should be no more than a few hours and the link should be public again! Thanks for your patience. 2n'd UPDATE: Still waiting to hear back from Rooster Teeth. Thank you for your continued patience. I'll make sure to give you all a definitive answer before 5 PM EST. 3r'd UPDATE: We disputed the copyright claim (as stated above) and the RWBY video will remain blocked for the first 48 hours following our dispute (November 8,2021) or until the Rooster Teeth releases the claim — whichever one comes first. Until the dispute is resolved, the link has been replaced and it is on Vimeo. Thank you for the understanding and sincerest apologies for not catching this sooner!

DrDrae3000
>>71374630

I just got to respond to this comment.... Dude it is a business/hustle a business doesn't have to be large, and people are paying money, they aren't doing it for nothing, Youtube is free, Patreon is not. wikipedia is " Donating money" if was just Donating we get Early accesses on patreon and time reaction for free and it would be just an option to pay, It's not, you overtly have pay to get access. I get what your saying people shouldn't be too upset things happens and there are delays, Sometimes people go the store and what they want it isn't there, that's life. Personality I wouldn't get too upset because Normies are better than most Patreons with posting content regularly, and we don't know there situation. but don't come at people. as if this is "free" and people are just entitle cause that would be lie, and the wrong argument.

Karim kenneth baash

Thank you guys for all your doing. Hopefully not to long a wait. 😉

FryLord
>>71374630

It's donating because there's no extra effort. They're going to upload the videos regardless. They record in advance anyway. We just get to peek inside. We're not paying for anything to be created. Literally just saying we appreciate what they do and we get head pats for it. But these people overreact because somehow watching people watch things slightly earlier than everyone else entitles them to act like children. The crazy part is this patreon has dozens of series. So much content for as little as 5 dollars and people are going nuclear over a little blocked video as if every content creator on youtube doesn't deal with this. This is just entitlement at it's worst.

FryLord
>>71359719

No, you're donating to see what they'll do anyway a little bit earlier. This includes the entirety of their content so the dozens of other series. They have zero obligation to cater to this one video because people feel they're more important the rest

Diiirk706
>>71407419

does this include fixing the link for RWBY 5 X 14...............??

DrDrae3000
>>71374630

We are "paying" money for a service no matter what you called it, that's not "entitlement", Youtube is free, patreon is not. the service is for 1. early access, and 2. uncut reaction 3. patreon exclusive. The later you can't even get on youtube,. this is not free. 5 dollars is meal there people world don't even have that. If you go a store, buy pringles go home then discover there's no chip inside and be it's ok I just donate 2 dollar to a store. Or pay for fast delivery from Amazon and then it comes late, and be that was just donating because it would come anyways, Again I agree people should chill because normies compare to others are much better at putting out content, And as with all things there delays etc happen time to time there human. And said Above we don't know there situation. but don't call people who are paying for something as "entitlement at it's worst" that was the only thing I was trying to address.

I'm I the only one that the vimeo link won't work for?

Joseph Lewis
>>71439791

Its the episode that doesn't want to be seen, lol. The link isn't working for me either. Must remain patient :]

My thoughts

I just happened to try and watch the episode of rwby as well and the link did not work.

Patrick
>>71439791

Still a no-go for my part. "Sorry, we couldn’t find that page"

cries in rwby 6x4 not working

6x4 in a nutshell: [insert name] did nothing wrong.

>>71407419

Looks like the Youtube link is working now. Just happen to have it up when I logged off work and refreshed the page. Would post it but pretty sure links in comments is against some kind of rule or something?

Rustic Randy

What Damarin said @19:53 (During RWBY) is what so many OLD fans can't seem to understand about this series. Thank you for saying what I've been trying to tell them through countless comment threads. It's hard being a fan of a series where all you see is hate and ignorance from supposed "fans". Normies for life!

Michael Diaz

Suraj: “Salem’s group is used to her behavior, since they leave before the glass breaks.” Um…. you mean after she tells them to leave? lol At the part where Suraj is talking about Ozpin. “When he was telling them the story about the 2 brothers or… WHATEVER.” lol Engaged indeed. But that was Qrow… and I’m pretty sure that was volume 4. Also I can justify Ozpin’s lying. He clearly said he had experienced that lead to reasons for his behaviors. Leo wasn’t the first person to betray him. He’s been betrayed enough times that he gives limited info so that it can’t be used against him. He does it to prevent fear and negativity. Negativity draws Grim. Fear leads to betrayal. Such as with Leo. Such as with RAVEN. Team RWBY CHOSE to go on this mission. Actually Team RNJR did but the rest of RWBY definitely joined. Because they were all going to the same place anyways. Oz went to protect Haven and couldn’t so he’s taking the relic to Atlas. He’s got no plan but a lot is on his shoulders. Cut the guy some slack. If you listened to his backstory, he was called a pure hearted hero. He died and was tortured being brought back to life and killed and brought back again but only for the purpose of taken on this burden he didn’t ask for and to coexist in a world where his lover was corrupted, because they fucked around with her heart instead of just letting her kill herself (they didn’t want to bring him back to life at first but in the end they did it anyways… so creating this situation for him to deal with and then sentencing him to deal with it put a lot of stress on him. If he makes mistakes, he of all people should be forgiven for it. He already died. He has no reason to be here except to help everyone else and they want to abuse him as soon as they find out the truth? Then fuck them. They aren’t exactly convincing him that he should have trusted them. Their reactions are at least semi-reasonable but they didn’t even have an inkling of understanding. So yeah… that’s my case for Ozpin. lol

rosen_fenrir

To say something about why they reacted the way they did, it's because they felt this whole time that there was a solution to the problem, that Oz was leading them to save everyone by disposing of Salem. By finding out not only that she can't be destroyed, but also that after all these years, he doesn't have a plan by his own admission, it hits hard. This also extends to Pyrrha's choices. She jumped to the wagon immediatly not only because of her personality but because she thought Oz knew what he was doing. From a perspective, this could be seen as an Impossible war, cause there's no defeating Salem. So you can start understanding some of the things Raven said to Yang and in general. From their perspective, they put their lives in the line for a cause that is not what they thought, because of what they've learnt. And Oz doesn't have a plan (keeping the relics safe and away from her is stalling but doesn't solve the issue). Anyways, that why I think they reacted the way they did.

ParkMinJeon

Isn’t it supposed to be YOU 3x6 ??

Benjamin Donahue

The best reasons I can think of for Oz's lies is a matter of maintaining the will to fight. Salem is immortal and far more powerful than any other living person so cheap work around like burying her alive or imobilizing her after decapitation aren't going to work on her. Coupled with the fact that learning the truth will likely cause situations like Leo, and Raven or just leave enough inner turmoil for people questioning the point while Salem is very actively trying to destroy the world. Plus any group that learns the truth will likely summon the Grim and get wiped out. A not so positive parallel example in real time would be to look at the US invasion of Afghanistan. We started off with our patriotic war ferver after 9-11 and the will to maintain steadily decreased over time. Lo and behold 20 years later it comes out publicly that no one had ANY idea of what they were doing or how to even win (although I'd like to think more people knew that from the beginning). Same kinda concept except we obviously didn't have a fairytale supervillian antagonizing us
