There's no such thing as Gray Jedi. The whole concept is a fan-creation by people who don't understand Lucas's point about the light and dark sides. You can't cherry pick from both, it's one or the other.

I've been hoping for them for over a year, but it seems like several of them have already seen it. Maybe the ones who haven't will watch with a few who have, they seem to like doing that. Have they said they would be watching it soon, or are you just hopeful, too?

Many find that viewpoint limiting and why Star Wars isn't considered legitimate science fiction by many people. Good vs. Evil is a fantasy main staple which is fine but it makes for cookie cutter storytelling.

People out here really shitting on you for just pointing out that "gray jedi" are in fact non-canon. Pretending like they're a necessary nuance to the universe when it already does a decent job at highlighting nuanced degrees of goodness and evil within the Jedi and the Sith. We don't need that third arbitrary category which actually boxes factions in more than makes them nuanced.

@Shmengels no one is shitting on him for the "grey jedi" I'm shitting on him for saying you're either light or dark side that you can't cherry pick from both sides which is false. a number of star wars characters do just that. the force isnt as simple as just light and dark sides.

@Shmengels Star Wars does one of the worst jobs of highlighting nuanced degrees of goodness and evil among it's peers and franchises like "Babylon 5" and "Star Trek" do a way better job with the light vs. dark themes. Star Wars is still very much in the realm of fantasy in that morality is determined by nature and not the human condition; which makes for little nuance in the story telling.
