Valen

Just finished. This is the seventh time I watched this finale... I cry EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.

Nina

I think I could watch this episode on repeat 24/7 and I'd still cry every time.

So, not in the literal sense, but imo they became "angels", energy of good intentions to help people through life. In the traditional trope, w the angel and the devil, the good angel sits on your shoulder, whispering in your ear - the energy hit his shoulder. ❤ Fab finale! Everything was perfection, but Michael's story end was my favorite. Plus that final line is so hilarious and beautiful. ... I adore Michael Schur, he always takes it home.

I love The Goodies so much. This is literally my all time favorite series and your reactions have been a damn blast. Thanks for letting us experience this with you guys. #TeamCockroach and my favorite characters were Janet & Chidi, but I love them all.

Tmatts

Take it sleazy.

Bisibia

Yea I just cried for 45 minutes... this was exactly what I was waiting for. Ya'll get it. That song, just the 4 piano notes being played behind the Eleanor and Chidi goodbye, is just beautiful and perfect.

Gareth Williams

I love this couch 🥺 We need to get you guys watching The Leftovers, ASAP 😊

Brendan O'Connor

The Guitar Instructor Michael learns from is played by Mary Steenburgen, an actress who starred in Elf, Step Brothers, and Back To The Future Part III. She is also married to Ted Danson.

RichardTheTraveler

So glad to see you all finish this show! It's one of my favorites too!

R. Chang

Really enjoyed rewatching this show with you guys. It's one of my favorites. Doesn't seem very popular for reactions, for some reason. An interesting next show to consider would be Pushing Daisies. It's on-theme for this trio because death is a major theme. The first season is one of my favorite seasons of television. It's gorgeous and funny and quirky with a lot of mystery. The second season is good but the writer's strike kind of fucked everything up and the show ended and they had to wrap things up a bit too quickly. But in its short run, it managed to get 17 Emmy nominations and 7 wins. It's definitely worth watching.

I loved that they cast Ted's wife! For me it sort of implied that Michael will fall in love and have a full life ❤

Erik

I really hope Ted Lasso is the next show this trio does together

James Jones

Can't believe y'all didn't have tissues ready. *shakes head* You were warned. Whenever the three of you are ready for the next round, I'd recommend something a little older like M.A.S.H. (death isn't exactly a theme, but it's ever-present) or Cheers (gives you a flashback to Ted Danson's first major role).

Adam Singleton

This episode still obliterated me even after several rewatches. As soon as the music from the wave scene hit I teared up. The song is called Speigel im Speigel by Arvo Pärt. I snuck it into the final scene of a tear jerker play I directed not long after this aired. It’s a really beautiful piece. I also listened to it when I had to put a pet down so that probably contributed to the tears.

Ricardo Obregon

and here we are at the last episode, thank you guys for ride, this was an amzing show, i almost wish you would watch it all over again with knowing what we knw now, maybe just the first season. lol ----- still waiting for overlord, just saying

acidnova

Chidi from a few episodes ago: "I just... I don't think I'll ever be the kind of person who just acts. I mean, I can't just open a door and walk through without knowing what's on the other side. Even with eternity to try, I just don't think that can happen."

I love that show so much and it would be nice to see people react to it.

Gage Eakins

Now that the series is over, you guys should react to "Pobody's Nerfect" by Whitney Avalon. It is very funny and about Janet.

Katelyn Fulkerson

Eleanor became the little voice in someone’s head. That guy was about to throw someone else’s mail in the trash, then the little gold Eleanor particle went in him. That’s when he dug it out and returned it to Michael. Like that episode where she finds the wallet in the bar.

Jay Willis

The wave returns to the ocean is one of my favorite metaphors ever. So beautiful. Also I love that Michael's last name is "Realman" on Earth, haha. So good.

Jay Willis

Potential future shows for the trio: Fringe or The Leftovers (which the Judge references in this episode). Both would be more like Lost or Dark in terms of tone.

Ooh Fringe would be right up their alley 👌

Michael

The wave metaphor is one of my favorites and such a beautiful part of the show. So sad the goodies have watched the last episode of The Good Place, but happy you had the chance to experience it together. Looking to the future, I think Ted Lasso would be a great show for y'all to watch together next. The group name even writes itself, the teddies!

Björn Petersen

I second Fringe!!!! Awesome show, never gets old
